Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, Florida voters were duped into changing their party affiliation from Democratic to Republican.
Then, on the rest of the menu, the Biden administration is considering expanding a policy that limits the use of “no-knock” warrants by federal agents; the IRS will suspend the use of facial recognition technology to identify taxpayers; and, the House is preparing a short-term spending bill to keep the government open.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Germany’s state-funded broadcaster Deutsche Welle was right to suspend five employees and take actions against eight others following a probe into antisemitism; and, Canadian police cracked down on the Covid-19 truckers, seizing thousands of gallons of fuel and an oil tanker, while a court silenced the constant blaring of trucker horns.
