Thanks for being here Yeah, good morning. Thanks for having me. Yeah before we jump in and talk about Trump and the speech and the expectations tonight as the Conventions coming to a close. Let's start with the secret service situation over the past weekend in the assassination attempt at this point I would have thought by now this director would have been gone either resigned or fired, but it doesn't seem Anybody's pushing that except for common sense people The left in Biden included saying well no no no we're just you know easy now Joe Biden I think paraphrasing says I still have faith in her Your thoughts on this whole madness that took place here and the debacle that almost cost us and Donald Trump, you know his life Well, it's really sad to see you know I think most Americans would say the secret services like the one institution we all have faith in To do their jobs. I mean historically they've done an unbelievable job and to see this happen Just is mind boggling and you know a lot of people I mean you're seeing the conspiracy theories run wild right now But that's because we're not getting any answers for things that are very obvious you know this was a shooter that was way too close to the president on a roof that was way too obvious and The the secret service knew about the shooter now it sounds like 30 minutes beforehand And you know they just it's just completely perplexing that this was allowed to happen Yeah, and you know I understand where people are coming from where they're like well Maybe they wanted it to happen because nobody could be this stupid Yeah, first on the rooftop as Candace Owens was talking about after the fact, you know when secret service arrives They get up on that stage where Donald Trump's gonna be and they do a 360 and turn and go art that building there that one over there That house over there that tall tree over there that building there and they pick out spots that need to be you know Looked at and covered secondly, you know You mentioned 30 minutes and I'm hearing they knew about this guy an hour before what was going on as far as Somebody at least keep an eye on alright. Well if that's the case. How do you lose sight of the guy? You know between that hour and leading up to the actual shots being fired if he's that of a concern I would think you the minute he went to the to the building to try and get up on top of it Would that not be the time to go get him and go alright our concern is really ramped up. We're taking this guy off the property I just it's not making sense. I know the investigation is underway But you're right when Kate Middleton had the cancer situation the rumors and misinformation and conspiracy theories started running rampant You know what she did she came out and addressed it and had a press conference the family You know brought their privacy just to shut down the madness of the of the BS that was out there so far This woman has had very little say and when she did I think it was with ABC news And she really dodged the questions there and it was more of a CYA kind of an interview thing yesterday ignoring reporters coming after like You know you have responsibility you should be answering questions And she just kept her mouth shut and kept walk, you know walk it up the stairs in the office building So I think she's a disgrace to not only the secret service But to the presidency and the United States of America and she needs to be held accountable for this All right, let's move on to somebody else that needs to be held accountable our president Joe Biden now He's got COVID and he says say you know all right I would look at considering dropping out if God speaks to me If it's clear that I'm not going to be the winner and number three if there's a medical situation going on I think we've got you know at least two of the three here going on. I mean is it time? Yeah, you know this is interesting because he's been completely defiant and now he's starting to say that if The ifs are being brought into play and so we'll see on this, you know I've seen reporting that Kamala's people are starting to make more aggressive plays you have Nancy Pelosi Going to president Biden saying you're gonna cost us the house And so you know I think there's you know time for them to make an emergency mover But the thing is he would have to resign You know and I think ultimately that's that's gonna be a tough pill for for president Jill Biden to swallow so You know I think I think when it gets down to it, you know, we'll see what happens, but As time ticks, you know Trump looks like more and more of a favorite I mean this is a guy who survived an assassination attempt. He's about to deliver a speech, you know focused on unity and You know who's really gonna want to take that up, you know people are mentioning Josh Shapiro from Pennsylvania a young governor Who's perceived? He's not but he's perceived as a moderate, you know But that's a guy who has a political future in front of him. Does he really want to be the the guy, you know sacrificed here in a shortened campaign. I don't think so. So, you know, we'll see what happens Yeah, all right speaking of the speech tonight He had one speech and he tore it up and he's written another humdinger quote-unquote for tonight's speech Your expectations on that watching him being president during the last three nights I I see a guy that's kind of changed and I Think this obviously an assassination attempt and being clipped by a bullet would change anybody But I don't know I'm really anxious to see not only what he has to say obviously But his demeanor and his heart because I think we're gonna see a changed man tonight Well, I think we're seeing the real Trump, you know, there's been lots of reporting around this for years and look He has a very public persona where he's you know this this Confident, you know funny guy But he's a very emotional guy, too, and you see that with his family you see that with the people he cares about and so I think we're gonna see that You know I think he's he's thankful to be alive and maybe even more appreciative of the moment and how important this moment is To save this country, you know I keep thinking about this the way his head turned and how he barely missed this bullet and where America would be today If he was shot in the head and killed It'd be a very frightening situation, I think yeah And you know we we're very lucky that we're not there So, you know, that's probably where the speech is gonna be by the grace of God, you know He's alive and and you know I think he wants to unite the country and I think he has a real chance to do that in a big way You know give that speech tonight try to appeal to everyone the forgotten men and women and and then try to run up the score You know, let's go ahead and win this by a lot Yeah, right maybe not be writing Georgia election returns at 3 a.m. The morning Absolutely, well, you look we've got three months after tonight in this convention wrapping up before November 5th And we get to the ballot box. So yeah, we gotta keep the pedal to the metal A lot of green between now and getting the ball over the the goal line. All right, John Schwe.
