So we're gonna get to the situation of our logo with the classified documents that Donald Trump was facing, some charges on, and the judge kicking the case and dismissing it that that for, or in just a minute but first, Paul, welcome in. Thanks for being with me. I do want to get your thoughts on what took place over the weekend. And you know, where the ball was dropped, I was just talking with somebody from law enforcement last hour on this. And yes, you got Secret Service who are totally in charge of this thing, but then, you know, they're kind of pointing their fingers over their local law enforcement because that was outside the perimeter and should have been covered by you guys. Yeah, they're kind of passing the buck, aren't they? - Yeah, it does sound that way. I mean, this was a complete failure on the part of the Secret Service 'cause they're in charge. And they're the ones that set up the perimeter. So you got a perimeter where a sniper, 150, 180 yards away with AR-15. I mean, that's like taking a three foot putch shot on the golf course. These things go 1,000 yards. So it's really ridiculous in terms of the perimeter number one. Number two, if you don't have enough guys out there where they're local or Secret Service, you can have surveillance drones on my guide day. Some high school kid can get one for 200 bucks and fly these things. And a Secretary Mayorkas was asked by Speaker Johnson where were the surveillance drones and Mayorkas kind of shrugged his shoulders. I don't know. I mean, there's gonna be a full investigation of this. And then afterwards, when he was a trumpet shot, you see the Secret Service taking him off the stage, but his head is exposed for at least nine, 10 seconds. They don't have him covered. You've got this one woman Secret Service age who's like five foot two in front of them. I mean, come on, they should at least be 662 to protect the protectee here. So it's just, and then it's from from Taiwan, Trump's got to wear a bulletproof vest, and then they have speeches and put a bulletproof glass in front of his podium for starters, right? - Yeah. - So, and then you got other things about the sniper. Did he delay shooting, taking the target out? He got people who were there. So all the guy had the roof and hollering, "Hey, there's a guy out of the roof." And they're all like, "Huh, what?" - Well, you know. - Paul, here's what I think needs to happen. And I think this was brought up last hour with the law enforcement person, that this director of the Secret Service needs to have a press conference or a number of people behind the scenes on protecting him. A press conference and, you know, explain exactly what happened, where the breach was, why it happened, and what we're gonna do moving forward. You know, there were so many different conspiracy theories and misinformation and people's opinions out there that are kind of off. Now, you mentioned the vest. It was my understanding that he did have a vest on under that, but I'm not sure, because, you know, his shirt was open. He was, and I didn't see a vest, but there was somebody that took a picture that showed, I guess they were trying to pinpoint that, you know, thank God he had the vest on because there was a hole from another bullet in the side, rib-sided of his rib cage. And so I don't know, you know, I don't, I don't, that's the problem. You and I don't know that, and the American people don't know. - There'll be an investigation. All that will come out and do course, and you're right, the head of the Secret Service. She was interviewed yesterday by somebody in the press, and he accepted, yeah, she expected an accepted full responsibility, but yeah, come on, you should be fired or do a shake up there. So we'll see what's gonna happen, but yeah, but also besides the vest, he's got to have that bulletproof glass particulate in front of his podium. And people could still see him, et cetera, and so he doesn't have to be in the bubble. But when they took him off the stage, you know, they weren't covering him with their bodies, like I represented the Secret Service agent, Tim McCarthy, when Ronald Reagan was shot in 1981. If you look at the video there, McCarthy, when the shooting started by John Hinkley, he made his body look real big. He put his arms out to take the bullet, which he did in his liver to protect Ronald Reagan. So, you know, that's what the Secret Service agents gotta do, but you know, when they're taking him off the stage, she'd be crouched. Well, you know, they could have like a black umbrella or something that may be kind of bulletproof covering him so that another snapper can't see exactly where it's right. - Right, right. - I mean, it's ridiculous, it really was, I'm sorry. - Well, let's talk about what happened yesterday. A lot of news out of South Florida, as the judge now has kicked the case and dismissed it on the Mar-a-Lago secret documents that were being stored. There are a number of charges coming at him. And, I mean, obviously it could be appealed by Jack Smith, and I think he said he's going to appeal it. But, I mean, this is pretty big news. Do you think the appeal will happen first of all, secondly, be successful, or is this done? - No, the appeal's gonna happen because Jack Smith just can't stand the fact that his authority is being challenged by anybody. The 11th Circuit is a conservative circuit. I think they will affirm Judge Cannon's opinion. And if then Jack Smith appeals to the Supreme Court, I'm confident Supreme Court will affirm Cannon's opinion. Now, keep in mind, I argued this case six years ago when we went after Robert Mueller, who was the special counsel in the Russia hoax case. And the DC Circuit here ruled against me in a really poorly written opinion. And we weren't able to go to the Supreme Court then. And when Trump was indicted in the Mar-a-Lago, I contacted his attorneys. They said, "Hey, you've got to file this motion down there "because the Florida courts are not bound "by whatever the DC courts rule." And thank God Judge Cannon, a 95-page opinion, ruled that he's unconstitutional. It's a very simple issue. Under our Constitution, all officers in the United States have to be pointed and set up by law. That's the word, quote, by law. Well, there's no law setting up a special counsel. Jack Smith, I'm sorry. And what happened when the independent counsel law expired in 1999, Jan Ireno, then the Attorney General for Bill Clinton says, "Well, I don't care what Congress says. "I'm going to draft some regulations saying "that I can appoint a special counsel. "But who the hell pointed you?" - Right. - So that's where, the emperor has no clothes here. - Right. - And I'm confident that this opinion will be a pill. - Excellent. Well, Paul Cabinar, thank you so much. I appreciate you being with me, constitutional law expert. We'll have you back, Paul. Great insight this morning. - Yeah, my pleasure. Take care. - Hello, it is Ryan. And I was on a flight the other day playing one of my favorite social spin slot games on chumbacassino.com.
