The Democrats are continuing to mop up after Joe Biden's poor performance the other week at the debate, and then even his lackluster performance with George Stephanopoulos, here is Adam Schiff on one of the weekend talk shows. He should be mopping the floor with Donald Trump. Joe Biden is running against a criminal. It should not be even close, and there's only one reason it is close, and that's the president's age. And that is the reason why they are doing their best to shore this thing up before all the money dries up. Joining me now is Ashley Smith-Thomas, who is going to tell us a little bit about the money that is still trying to make Ashley, are they still making headway, or are they losing ground? Thank you for having me. I would actually say that they're losing ground. So on Friday, President Biden's campaign, they announced that they're going to be spending $15 million on a massive media blitz targeting particular battleground states as they want to target battleground voters. So the states that they're really focusing on right now is Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. And their whole intent is to really specifically target and appeal the young and minority voters in which the president will have, quote, "an aggressive travel schedule." However, this whole aggressive approach comes on the heels of after his disastrous debate performance against foreign president Donald Trump a couple of weeks ago, which has really left the Democrat party in a panic situation and especially the donors because now they're refusing to give money to the party unless Biden steps down. So when you look at the New York Times polls, they're still showing Trump now tops Biden at 49% to 43% among likely voters. But some polls show a larger lead by foreign president Trump at 49% and Biden at 41%. So it's interesting because in their attempt in spending more money with these media blitzes campaign had announced that they're targeting a larger budget, especially key events here in July, such as the Olympic Games on NBC. They targeted Macy's Fourth of July fireworks and the upcoming bachelor's season premiere. So they're, again, hoping to really target to this younger generation. But the thing is is that when you look at how they're spending all this money trying to save his campaign, he did an interview with ABC News, George Stephanopoulos, which the interview some say did not go as well as they had intended. And then he did a radio show on W.U.R.D. Philadelphia, which is a black radio program. And he stated that he, President Biden, is the first female black vice president to serve a black president. And so again. Wait, hold on, can I say that again? What, what did he say? So he said on the radio program that he is the first female black vice president to serve a black president. That's, that's what he said. Yeah. So like, and basically he was trying to say Kamala Harris, but then Kamala Harris didn't serve a black. So he mixed up himself with Kamala Harris. Yeah. I mean, that's not as the Charlemagne the God thing where he said, if you vote for me, you ain't black, but it's, it's not much better actually. It is not. And so that, again, just calls for the concerns. And he really tripped up on that one. And so that's where a lot of people are saying, okay, does he have what it takes to move forward as president? Then with his debate, the campaign is saying, oh, he had a cold, he was just tired. So now he had governors, Democratic governors come to the White House and he was working to try and convince them that he's still good to go. He's still in it to win it type of attitude and still in the fight. However, he is going to not have any events past eight p.m. And the concern is that, you know, being president is not a nine to five job. So he wants everything to be done by eight p.m. so he can get his rest. So in other words, he's the, he's the president of the United States until eight. And then all bets are off until tomorrow morning. Right. Basically, basically, but here's the thing too, when you look at it is that, you know, again, the Dems are panicking, they're trying to throw money at the situation, but the money is going to, is, is starting to dry up. Meaning you look at over the weekend, the Disney Harris Abigail Disney, and she's the granddaughter of Royo Disney, and she's now publicly stating that she refuses to donate to the Democrat party until Biden is replaced. And so then it self speaks volumes when you have strong Democratic donors and influencers and leading voices saying that they want Biden to be replaced. They will not support the Democrat party until there's an alternative solution. Um, so that in itself, I just believe is, is very telling.
