Royal Neil joins us now with some reaction on the Supreme Court's decision yesterday regarding the presidential immunity. Right, welcome in, thanks for being here. Boy, depending on who you ask, the lightning reaction, the left claiming, "Oh my gosh, this makes him a king and it's gonna ruin our country. This is horrible, he's a dictator, this is out of control." The right's like, calm down, okay? This is official duties and it's limited immunity. They're losing their ever-loving minds on the left, so your thoughts on how things went down yesterday. Well, there's just an awful lot of gray area, right? And that's what stokes a lot of the fear here. Even Justice Amy Comey Barrett raised some questions about this idea that you can't even enter into evidence some of the presidential actions that are covered under immunity. She laid out this idea of, "Let's just imagine I want to be ambassador to Ireland." So I'm gonna bribe the president by paying the president a million dollars. Well, at trial, you can put in the fact that I paid a million dollars, but because the act of appointing an ambassador is an official presidential act, you can't even mention that at a trial. So even Justice Amy Comey Barrett was like, "What do we need to clarify some of that there?" Yeah, everybody that hates this decision played the big, "What if game?" Well, what if this scenario happens? "My gosh, we can't allow this." And everybody that's got a little bit more common sense responds to things like that, and says, "This is not what this is about. There's nothing constitutionally that is gonna happen here that's different. This is not, hey, the president's above the law decision. This is immunity that, for instance, if he challenges the election results, okay? This clears that up. If the president is in the office and he doesn't think that the election results, uh, were fair or there was some behind the scenes, uh, nefarious activity going on, then he can challenge that. And without the political witch on coming down on his back and running it, you know, go ahead. Yeah, but presidents have no roles in elections. Well, I get it, but I'm just saying if he decides that, you know, the election results aren't fair, then he has every right to challenge that and go through the process. I think they're taking it to the extremes with the "what if" game. So that's where I'm right on this one here. Do you have that right as a candidate or as the president? Because the president has no roles in how a state runs its elections. I know, as a candidate, that's a bit of a different pedal. But again, this is all the stuff they talk about. And that whole business about that we can get CLT6 to execute a rival, that was brought up during oral arguments from the bench. So that was actually, that dates back to April. So, you know, some of these conspiracies are wild in these crazy schemes that were laid out by Justice Sotomayor, all go to go to great extremes. But again, it's what happens when there's this gray area, because we've already heard the president's legal, the president Trump's legal team try to claim or they're going to claim that the hush money trial needs to be thrown out because of this ruling. And that seems to be the most personal kind of conduct, but they say some of the evidence related to official conduct and shouldn't be allowed. Well, that does bring up a scenario for that case in that. Some of the things that are now considered, you know, presidential duties during the process were used against him and brought into evidence. But now they should be taken out will be the argument from the defense. And this whole thing may, you know, be tossed or at least retry because of this ruling. That's for sure. There's one thing I think that will definitely happen, Roy, moving forward when this is challenged, you know, in the gray area. It may end up back in the, you know, Supreme Court or at least U.S. District Court. You know, can this law or decision by the justices be applied in this case? You know, so once again, I think you're sitting a lot of appeals up. Right. And really, and the chief Justice Roberts laid out saying, look, there's presumptive immunity. So assume a president is immune to these things that are outside those four core areas. But you can go to the court and try to test it. And that's what we're going to see. We expect from the special counsel saying, well, wait a minute, what about retention of documents? When he was president, okay, fine. Let's say you're right. It was his presidential ability to take the documents with him tomorrow long ago. But when the archives asked for them back and he retained them, that shouldn't count, right? Because it's keeping the documents is a separate act. That's all that kind of fine line legal stuff that they're going to have to go through. All right. Quickly, our U.S. military bases in Europe, high alert on a possible terror attack. Where are we on this? And is it still? It's not locked down yet, but it's right close to that with the threat. Right. They're at threat level, Charlie, which is the second highest of five levels for service members. We haven't gotten any real specifics. They're not saying there's a specific claim. This is happening in Europe. But they're saying it's probably because of all the soccer matches that are going on. A lot of crazy fans, either excited or disappointed. You've got elections in France and England that are happening, the upcoming Olympics in Paris. So the word is going out to members of the U.S. military deployed across Europe, especially around Stuttgart, Germany, which is the head of European Command. Be on your toes out there because somebody might try to pull something. All right. Very good. Royal thank you for the update. It can get lonely climbing Mount McKinley.
