And first of all, on the debate tonight, then we're going to talk about the opportunity or good time or bad time to buy a new car or some new data out there. So first of all, your thoughts on what Joe Biden or Donald Trump has to do to look good and come off as the winner tonight and then vice versa, what could ruin it for both of those guys? So Biden has to be cognitive and calm, and Trump has to not say anything insane. I think if they both do that and Trump doesn't come off as so bombastic and so, because if he does, it's going to remind too many people of how precarious things were and how you never knew what you were going to get next. But if he doesn't do that, then I think people, you're going to get a lot of middle-leaning voters to his side. And Biden, like listen, he's got the Democratic voters on lock, but probably some of those who are in the middle would mean he'd have to show a lot of strength, essentially. You know, that's a great point. It's not about the basis. I mean, those people are already committed and so many Democrats are blue no matter who. It is the middle. It is the moderates. It is the independents. It's the undecideds. And they're like, I've talked to so many people and they're not necessarily on Trump's side or Biden's side, but they're like, you know, I get it. I see Biden's cognitive issues. I see where we're at with the border. Yeah, I can't, but I just can't vote for Trump. He's just two. And like you said, bombastic is some of the responses. You know, his mean tweets and blah, blah, blah. I think you're right. If he comes off a little bit more, I guess, approachable by the moderates and the American people that are in the middle, then I think, you know, that's a great night for him. The over. Yeah, your thoughts on the over under. I've got it at three right now. As far as Joe Biden's cognitive mess-ups tonight, I'm going to say three and a half. You think it's over under then? Listen, his state of the union. I don't know what happened there, but he nailed it. Like he really did. He came, I know that some people say that he looked like an angry old man. I get it, but like he didn't seem cognitively not there at all. So that throws a wrench into things before I would have been like five for sure. But now I'm like, oh boy, if they, if they do whatever they did with that one, it could be less. I'm expecting over three. But listen, Trump is so bellicose all the time that like that that belligerence sometimes doesn't help him and it could help Biden because he seems like he's too much for some people. So I think it depends on like how you look at it. Like if he comes down and Biden perks up, then we haven't even played. Yeah, I think Trump needs to stay on point as far as issues go and not be dragon to the fray and, you know, off track when Biden's poking at him and trying to move him on. Oh, you're convicted. You know, oh, the January six and I'm not coming there. Let me stay on policy and where I'm going to take this country. Yeah, you know, just annoyed by Biden's tries. So we'll see. All right. Let's talk about a good time. Inflation economy is a big issue tonight. Hopefully they'll both be asked questions about that. But let's talk about the auto industry coming out of COVID. We saw it and basically fell apart, slowed down. There were five cars on every lot across America seems to be back now. Good time to buy a new car. What are the analysts saying? Second half of the year. Yes. Yes. As consumers, we are seeing a slowdown. They expect U.S. sales growth. It's going to cost automotive to slow down the second half of the year. It's going to be roughly 1.3% increase compared to 2023, but that was such a crazy year. Vehicle inventories, they're growing that level. There's incentives. Those are increasing. That's exciting. And there's a lot of growing uncertainty around the economy, around interest rates, around the presidential election. All of these things are creating a perfect formula for the consumer. We are finally seeing some relief when it comes to cars. We're finally seeing more cars on the lots. And people haven't been buying for a long time. And what's also interesting, JT, is that unlike in recent years, growth is coming from the commercial side rather than the consumer side. The consumer side being you and me going to get a car, that's very profitable for the car companies. The commercial side, the leasing, the rentals, that's less money, and that's where the growth is going to be. So if you needed to buy a car, it might be a nice time to go check it out in the second half of this year. Yeah, it does make sense. I mean, you're right. The rates are slowing people down from doing the home purchase because it's just too expensive. Same issue with the rates on cars and loans. So yeah, the incentives will start jumping up again.
