Neil joins us to take a look at some of the polling numbers on how Americans feel on some things like like the debate tonight, the election, and a few other things. Roy, before we get to that, I wanted to get your thoughts tonight. I'm going over the over under number three on how many times we'll see a Joe Biden, you know, cognitive mess up when you know he freezes up or he can't finish a sensory misses somebody's name. It was something that points to his lack of cognitive skills. I think the over under is three. I'm going to go over. I'm going to say at least three, maybe, you know, maybe three and a half. What do you think? I probably go under. I think what we're going to get is at the end of the night, just go, okay, that was that. And I'm not expecting any massive moment at this point or any big game changing event. I think it's just going to be, oh, all right. And we'll see how many people stick it out for the whole 90 minutes of viewing. Yeah, your thoughts on what Joe Biden or Trump has to do to come out good in this, or, you know, what happened, you know, what could make it bad for either one? Yeah, well, Joe Biden has to come in under three on your scale, I think, in order to push through, I think Donald Trump has got to find a way to appeal to more of the moderates. You know, look, his base is there. They are, you know, they are right or die with Donald Trump, but he needs more than that if he's going to carry it today. So I think he's got to try to be a bit more moderate in some spots if possible. We've already heard him say he was a bit too aggressive in the last debate and regrets the talkovers. Keep in mind the two lecterns are only eight feet apart. And while they talk a lot about, oh, the mic will be muted, it's eight feet apart. If you keep talking, the other mic is going to pick it up. Yeah, that's a good point there, too. Now, let's talk about these polling numbers and what the Americans are thinking about this debate tonight. Let's start with that. Yeah, the Quinnipiac poll, they come out every month. So it's interesting to watch the trend overall, but they did say as far as the debate tonight, 73% of Americans say they will tune in to watch the debate tonight. We'll see how long they hold out whether or not it's the full night minutes or if it's a minute, you know, isn't the game on somewhere. So we'll see how long they can stick it out though. But there's a lot of interest in what's going on. I think a lot of people just want to see the debate and not we're tired of the spin, either before or after we're tired of the talking heads on either network. We just want to hear what the two men have to say. And what about the election? Where Americans right now, I've seen numerous polls in the trend seems to be that Donald Trump's got a slight edge in on him nationally, but it looks pretty good and maybe called a dozen swing states. He's got some edge on him there. Is that the latest polling numbers indicating that trend continuing? I think Donald Trump's poll numbers in the swing states are probably better than the national numbers. Even then, the Quinnipiac has him up 49 45 in the national poll. Biden led the same poll last month, 48 47. So you can tell it's close. In a six way race, Donald Trump wins 43 to Biden's 37 with RFK junior coming in with 11 percent. Yeah, interesting. RFK junior did not have enough to get into the debate tonight, but both Donald Trump and Joe Biden have kind of called for him to be on the stage. I know Trump was pretty open about that and said, yeah, let's get him into the next rate, which will be a couple of months from now. Do you think because they ignored the standards of the way they usually do this for decades, they've kind of gone to the presidential election committee, if you will, but yeah, they went rogue on this and they kind of agreed to the terms. Could they do that and go ahead and include him next time? You can do whatever you want, but the commission on presidential debates is one thing. They are not behind this debate and said this is a CNN debate, their rules, their format, all agreed to buy these two campaigns. Yeah. But yeah, the mission has a bit of a more historic standard, which we've seen over the years. Yeah, well, you know what, it doesn't matter to the voters and the viewers. It's a debate. They don't care who's putting it on or what the commission's doing or not doing in this. They want to see these two guys answer some tough questions. Do you believe the panel from CNN tonight will be rated as a fair delivery in their questioning and treatment of both these candidates tomorrow when we're talking about it? Well, I think there's a lot of scrutiny that will be on them. It's a no-win job for these moderators. It's going to be Dana Bash and Jake Tapper from CNN. They're going to be the two who are moderating it. And again, a lot of pressure to try to appear as even handed as possible. Now, who would you like to see moderate? Oh my gosh. I mean, I'd like to see Jim Jordan from Ohio, Trey Gowdy to moderate, maybe Sean Hannity to moderate. I mean, I'd like to moderate. Who would you like to see? I've been trying to. I can't think if you're trying to find someone who would be nonpartisan or even handed, that's what I'm struggling to think of anyone else. I mean, I think Trey Gowdy would be a bit partisan. I think Jim Jordan would be a bit partisan. But who would be even handed is the question or certainly Sean Hannity. So it's difficult for someone who could come to this with clean hands. I mean, you know, dig up Walter Cronkite kind of a thing. Yeah. Yeah. There's when you look at news commentators on television these days, everybody, it's no longer just give me the news. It's give me the news with opinion. So, yeah, that's a good point. Could you find somebody at this point? Maybe somebody completely out of politics with just questions from the polling numbers, for instance, the biggest concerns that Americans have. Let's get somebody else. It's not in into politics whatsoever to deliver it. Yeah. That's a good question. Real good question. All right, buddy. Thank you so much. Hello.
