We've talked about this before. Apparently in the job workforce, a lot of people are feeling burned out about their jobs and by the end of the week, it maxes and I just can't take it anymore. So is there a trend now to maybe go to a four day work week or at least let people have half the day off a little summer Friday? If you will, joining us to talk about this, a workplace expert. My Radcliffe is back. My good morning. Good morning. I tell you, it's already a ghost town around here on Fridays. I don't think this is going to work for our show. I mean, anybody else going to get off on Friday mornings in the book? Nope, everybody in the studios down the hall raised their hands. Nope, nope, nope, nope. So is this a trend or is this wishful thinking? Well, I think it's a little bit of both. In reality, if everybody decided to take, you know, Fridays off or corporations and businesses gave everybody Friday off, what would we do if we had an emergency in dial 911 and there was nobody there to answer? So I think it's really wishful thinking for some industries and a possibility for other industries. You know, I think the burnout is a factor. A lot of people don't feel as engaged. They are trying to battle that work life balance situation. And I don't know what part of the world you're in here, but we're going to be a hundred degrees again today and burnout literally taking place when people have to, especially in sales, you know, in and out of the car, you're traveling, you're hot, you're sweating, you're coming back in the air conditioning. You're going and by the end of the week, it's like, Oh my gosh, I mean, I got to have a break here. So there's been discussion on four day work weeks before. And like you said, some professions, it can work out. Even with first responders, I think it may be able to work out if they were able to hire more. But, you know, that's tough right now for a lot of those professions. Yeah, yeah. And you know, rotating shifts, everybody getting one Friday off a month. There's just so many different ways to help morale and people with the work-life balance, and it may not be a Friday. What if somebody's child has a soccer game on Wednesday afternoon? There's ways that corporations, businesses and small businesses can help support their employees with creative scheduling. And I think it's really a give and take between the corporation and the employee. I think COVID kind of pushed us into that direction. Don't you coming out of it? You know, it was a whole new world as far as work goes. A lot of folks, you know, we're setting home. Most people were setting home, as a matter of fact, including students. And now we come back and, you know, slowly the bosses and corporations are saying, all right, everybody back in, let's go. But, you know, maybe we'll work with you a little bit here. So you need a day offer, some time off in an afternoon or whatever. Not a big deal. You're getting things done, have at it. It seems to be the new norm. I would agree with you. You know, we all, the country kept going during COVID and banks kept working. And service industries kept working. We were just working from home. And I think what it did is it opened a lot of people's eyes to the fact that you can be productive from home, sometimes more productive. When you're in a comfortable environment and have your computer and your monitors and your chair, sometimes you get more work done than being uncomfortable in an office where there may be some inner office, you know, stressors that are happening. And so I think that as we evolved in the workplace, things are going to change. Well, I got to ask you, do you prefer if this is a four day work week scenario? I mean, you're a CEO and you set this up. Would you allow your employees to go? You know what? I'd like a four day work week. Sounds great, but I don't necessarily want to take Fridays off. I'd rather take Monday off the Sunday scaries bothering me. Hey, we are very open to working with our team and our employees. If a certain day of the week is necessary for them to have off, we allow that. And they don't take advantage of it. If they want to do a four day work week for the people that can in our corporation, absolutely, we would support that as the CEO. I don't get that luxury, but that's okay. I support my team if they can do it. All right. My Iraq clip. Always going to catch up with you. Thank you so much. Lucky land slots asking people what's the weirdest place you've gotten lucky.
