Terry Schilling says the VP pick will have little effect on voters' choice for president

If Trump can stay away from getting triggered and pulled into you know responding emotionally and go in rogue but of course that's what Donald Trump's all about and we kind of like him. That's right and and thanks so much for having me JT. You know I love coming on and talking with you. If I was Trump I would make it all about a return not just to normalcy but to greatness and I would focus on the pain and misery that Biden's administration has inflicted on the American people in terms of you know the economy how much harder it is to afford rent and and your mortgage you can't afford a home today right the cost of groceries is increased. You're not making as much money as you used to and then I would also focus on the pain and misery that he's inflicting the American people through the weaponization of government right we're putting 75 year old ladies in prison for protesting and praying outside of abortion clinics and abortion clinics can be seen by the way that they were they found five dead babies in the dumpster the lady was praying outside we just put her in jail for two or prison for two years and then I would also talk about the pain and misery and harm that Joe Biden has done to our children in our schools and and how he has ruined the education system and turned it into a system where about a third of our kids can read at grade level doesn't do math at grade level. Yeah I think you're right on the policies of where we are with this current president how backwards and zero common sense especially when it comes to the board and what it's doing to our cities does he also address those areas where Biden has painted him into a hater the LGBT community I've never heard him hate on them I've never heard him hate on women I've never heard him hate on the black community and quite the opposite you know I don't you know I know those aren't the biggest hot buttons for the American voter right now the economy the wars what's going on with our whole situation with you know the crime in our cities but should he address those things that the Democrats have painted him into as being a hater and taking away democracy and address the LGBT community address the black community and address those women that everybody thinks Donald Trump hates uh yeah I I would go on offense and I would compare how people were doing in those demographics under his administration versus how they're doing now under Biden's administration you know JT this is a unique election in that you have each guy had one term so you can compare tick for tat right and you can you can look side by side and look look at how all these groups are doing obviously blacks were doing better under President Trump obviously right and the numbers were through the roof under his administration now they're not so great and I'm seeing video after video of these voters in Harlem and all across the country who are talking about how they're voting for Trump they voted for Biden last time but now they're voting for Trump because things are so bad but I do that for every demographic group you know these people know and you don't need to really like play defense I would go on offense and I would attack Biden I wouldn't spend very much time explaining how you don't really hate anyone I would spend how much time I would spend all my time explaining how much harm and damage Joe Biden has done to these groups yeah okay and let's not set the bar too low for Joe Biden I mean if he gets together and puts a sentence or two out there and all of a sudden he's a winner I mean come on all right let's switch gears here and talk about Trump's VP pick he says he's made up his mind but only he knows who it is right now we were talking about this earlier a name came out of a kind of left field I mean the regulars Doug Bergham JD Vance Marco Rubio have all been in the shortlist area but Sarah Huckabee Sanders your thoughts on that oh man oh oh she's my favorite she's my favorite of all time I love Sarah Sanders I've been working with her I've known her for quite some time she actually she's a great person she gave a keynote address at our gala several years ago and I've known her before that she's looked she's part she did the Arkansas miracle right as she had turned that state around she made it bigger and better than it was before I absolutely love Sarah Sanders I don't know if he's gonna go with her I think Sarah Sanders is the future of the Republican Party though you just got me very excited I love Sarah Sanders while you caught me off guard I thought you're gonna say toffee gabbard or or v-bake but I was not expecting Sarah she she is incredibly smart she's incredibly good but most of all she's right well and she knows what to do and here's the thing I was talking with John Decker one of our correspondents a great media about that and he threw her name out there and I've always thought Sarah Huckabee Sanders I thought this early on when he announced he's coming back in and and I thought you know what she would be so good the big word around her is loyalty to this president you know unlike some of the other folks you know like that I mentioned they've all had something negative to say about Donald Trump in the past during debates and but now different time different place I get that but I mean you talk about the potential for you know a great person there and and who else did he bring up uh John Decker how about this name for you Donald Trump jr. That's an interesting one for sure I I you know I I like the idea of Donald Trump jr as president in the future I don't know of Trump and you know it's I I work for my dad for for almost two decades actually uh and it's tricky it's tricky and at the presidential level you might want to stay away from it just because uh the stakes are so high but I I love John jr uh love Sarah Sanders I love J.D. Bands I you know I love a lot of these guys that are coming out well I think a lot of them even if they're not going to be the VP picks they'll end up in his administration in some fashion or form I would hope and Terry Schilling thanks buddy I appreciate you we'll have you back soon all right thanks it is Ryan C.
