Welcome to July 13th on the National Day Calendar. Today, we're firing up the grill and taking a plunge into some international fun. National Grilling Month is the perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors and savor the flavors of grilled foods, where those juicy burgers, tender steaks are colorful, Betty's goers. Grilling brings out the best in food and people. Did you know that grilling can be traced back to our ancient ancestors who cooked their food over open fires? This method not only enhances flavor, but also creates a communal cooking experience. So grab your apron and your tongues and let's get grilling. I have an apron. I got the tongs. You know how they have those grills and parks and things? Yeah. I've always wanted to cook on one. We should just go do that today. I think that's a great idea. As long as you're cooking, I'm cool with it. Yeah. I will because I want to ignore the very next thing that I know you picked for topics this day. So thanks for that. From the grill to the coolness of the water, it's also International Skinny Dip Day. Skinny dipping or swimming without a swimsuit has been a liberating activity enjoyed by many cultures throughout history. Fun fact, the word skinny dipping first appeared in English in the early 1900s, but the practice itself dates back much further. It's all about freedom, spontaneity, and connecting with nature in a very personal way. Just make sure you're in a private or designated area. This is so funny. Connecting with nature in a very personal way, I could have described it better. That's hilarious. I have other things I'd rather to connect with nature. But you go right ahead if you want to. I will be in a private and designated area, okay? So no one will see me. Fair enough. But how will we go grill first? Alright, that sounds like a good idea. I'm Latoya Johnson. I'm Marlo Anderson. Thank you for joining us on our journey to celebrate every day. Until next time, keep celebrating.
