Obituaries for Friday, July 12th. James Frederick Billy Prillman, 85 of Eden, died July 10th. Funeral services are tomorrow at two. The family will receive friends at one, at Boone and Cook Funeral Home, Pastor Darryl Bowles and Pastor Matthew Baker officiating, interment in Union Cemetery Woodlawn on Bryant Street. He was born in Rockingham County, retired from Caristan Rugmill, and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, surviving our wife, Alma Roberts Prillman of the home, children Billy Jean Freeman, James Frederick Ricky Prillman, Jr., and Jerry Prillman and sister Elaine Tartt, Olive Eden, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to encora-compassionate care. Three announcements from Fair Funeral Home. Funeral services for William Leonard W. L. Pryor, Jr. are today at 11 at Happy Home Church, Darryl at Dan River Church Cemetery. James Monroe Cub Underwood, 93 of Eden, died July 10th. Funeral services are tomorrow at 11, visitation at 10, Darryl at Danview Cemetery. He was a lifetime native of Rockingham County, born in Pennsylvania County, was a faithful member of Gospel Tabernacle Church, where he served as Sunday school teacher and special music singer. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954 as a mental Smith Third Class, worked as a fixer at Caristan Rugmill and retired from Miller Can Plant in Readsville, and he was a line man. Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Joanne Dehart Underwood, Children, Harold W. Underwood and Debbie, Steve B. Underwood in June, Vance W. Underwood and Minnie, Tracy U. Crisman and Jeff, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and brother George Underwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his church. Funeral services for Serenity Michaela East are Monday at 2, Visitations Sunday, 4 to 6. Three announcements from Perry Spencer Funeral Homes. Visitation for Margretta Chante Strickland is today in the auditorium at Morehead High School, starting at 12 with services at 1, internment in Hamlin Cemetery. Public viewing for George Cersey is today 1 to 730 in Madison.
