A wanted bulletin has been issued for Clarence Keith Hairston, blackmail 61, height 57, weight 180. He has warrants for violating the North Carolina Sex Offender Registry and failure to appear in court on a previous registry violation. The photo and contact information for law enforcement is posted on Facebook, Rockingham County Sheriff's Office. Mid-in Methodist Church announces the full-time appointment of their new pastor, the Reverend Wendy R. Bishop Redick. She recently was at Eureka Methodist Church in Wayne County. It's originally from Chester, Virginia, and has lived in North Carolina for about 25 years, known as Pastor Wendy. She has bachelor's degrees from North Carolina Wesleyan College in Religious Studies and Psychology. And a master's in Divinity from Duke Divinity School and Seminary. Her first Sunday is this weekend. Services are at 11. A meet in greet will be held soon to welcome Pastor Wendy, husband Micah, and her brother Andy. Mid-in Methodist is on West Main Street across from Elliot Duncan Park. Stokes County Board of Commissioners following a nationwide search has named Jeffrey Sanborn as their new county manager. He's a retired United States Army colonel with more than 30 years of experience, leadership, creative level management positions. Sanborn is a graduate of West Point and has master's degrees in business administration, industrial and operations engineering and strategic studies. Recalls that tell car owners not to drive or to park outside, total 25,000 in the first half of this year, that's up from 12,000 vehicles in all of 2023, according to a Consumer Affairs Analysis of Federal Data. Big banks may be playing hardball with federal regulators. The Wall Street Journal reports, Mary Ann Lake, Head of Chase Bank, says customers might have to pay for bank accounts and wealth management services if regulators cap overdraft fees at $8. New research from the Agriculture Department shows pasteurization of milk kills the virus that causes the latest strain of avian flu.
