Today, we're celebrating some charming facial features and enjoying a classic sweet treat. National Dimples Day celebrates those adorable indentions that many people find so endearing. Dimples are caused by variations in the structure of the facial muscles and are often hereditary. Did you know that only about 20% of the population actually have dimples? Whether they appear on cheeks when you smile or on your chin, dimples add a special touch to a person's smile and are often considered a symbol of beauty and charm. I'm not even sure what to say. Go ahead and smile Marlowe, it's fine. Show off those little dimples Marlowe, it's okay, we're not judging. So I wonder if it's 20% and then I also have strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes, so that takes me down to less than 1% of the population of the population. And thank you, by the way, yeah. From charming dimples to culinary to lights, it's also a national sugar cookie day. Sugar cookies are a timeless treat, love for this simplicity and versatility. In fact, the modern sugar cookie traces its roots back to the 1700s in Pennsylvania, but German settlers created what they called the Nazareth cookie. Today, sugar cookies can be cut into various shapes and decorated with everything from sprinkles to icing, making them perfect for any occasion, like right now for dimples day. I actually brought in sugar cookies, but I didn't forget your ginger snaps either. Oh, look at you. Thank you so much. You're too kind. Don't look as you got dimples, but you should enjoy it. Wow. It's a good day. I will. Thank you, Latoya. You're welcome. Hey, Johnson. Hi, Marlo Anderson. Thank you for joining us on our journey to celebrate every day. And follow us on Facebook and Instagram at destination celebration show until next time. Keep celebrating. Oh, I do love sugar cookies and ginger snaps, something Marlo and I have in common.
