National Raspberry Day is a celebration of these delicious and nutritious berries. Raspberries are not only tasty but packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and fiber. Did you know that there are over 200 varieties of raspberries? These berries can be red, black, purple, or even golden. Whether you enjoy them fresh, in a dessert, or as a jam, raspberries add a burst of flavor and color to any dish. So if the red, black, purple, or gold when I eat raspberries, slushies, how come my tongue is blue? I do love blue raspberries as well. Golden, shut up. Yeah, we'll have to find those I think. Yes. From fresh berries to icy delights, it's also a national freezer pop day. Freezer pops or ice pops have been a summertime staple for decades. The largest ice pop ever made weighed over 20,000 pounds and was created in California in 2005. These frozen treats come in a variety of flavors and colors, making them perfect for cooling down on a hot summer day. Whether you enjoy them by the pool or after a long day outside, freezer pops are a refreshing way to feed the heat. Freezer pops was my jam growing up. Did you have 20,000 pounds on your freezer? Probably not that much. Can you imagine? That's crazy. I wonder if it was blue for raspberries. That was one of my favorite flavors too. Everybody had blue tongues tasting that 20,000 pound ice pop. We should get some just because it's raspberry day and freezer pop day and it's hot outside. Oh, I love that idea. Let's go do that. I'm LaToya Johnson. Hi, I'm Marlo Anderson.
