just think how many games and concerts there have been over the years but first listen to this now here's one I found on social media that time that kind of sets the whole thing up for today everyone showed up to watch an old guy named George Strait standing in front of a microphone and sing his songs for two hours he didn't dance didn't have a gangle of dancers he didn't drop in from the sky and he didn't blast up from underground he didn't have costume changes heck he hardly even plays a guitar just typically holds it you had a few lights nothing spectacular and most importantly no tracks no lip sync no auto tune just a bunch of old guys playing real instruments together as a band it set a record for attendance at Kyle Field 110,905 which goes to show that if you focus on the songs and you play them with passion and keep the human element at the forefront of the music you don't need a spectacle to sell tickets you just need great songs played by great musicians let the music be the
