President Joe Biden is self-isolating tonight after testing positive for COVID. A fully vaccinated booster person is the most protected against COVID. The 81-year-old Biden who is vaccinated. You're okay. You're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations. Yeah. A bullet couldn't stop Trump. A virus just stopped biting. I'm built a little differently, I guess. Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. Let me get this **** right. You mean the tail mean? Y'all flooded Chicago with all these immigrants, like Trump say, the bad ones. But we have some bad embers here. Mother **** can't even speak English. But rob somebody on the red line with a translation app. Get the **** out of you. I don't know what's wrong with you young people. Do you think you just fell out of a coconut tree? Rump swabs, hacks, and moonbaits beware. It's "HOWE3" Car. That's a really good intro. There's a lot of great stuff in there. But the best woman has got to be the woman from Chicago, who's complaining about getting robbed by an illegal alien that's got a translator app on his cell phone. That was paid for by you, madam. So he could rob you on the red line. And Joe Biden thinks that he's not getting the black vote because he can't walk through the projects. His words, not mine. I think it has more to do with people on the red line in Chicago getting robbed by illegal Venezuelans with translator apps on their phones. Maybe I'm wrong. 844, 542, 42, 844, 542, 42. So this is a big night. This is the night that President Trump delivers his acceptance speech to the convention in Milwaukee, as you know. I'm excited to see what Tucker Carlson has to say. You know, talk about ironic evenings. Tucker Carlson makes his triumphant return to Fox News Channel tonight. Unexpergated. I think for the first few months, maybe up till now, after he was summarily fired for no reason with the best ratings in cable TV, his name was Verboton on the Fox News Channel. And now tonight, he returns. And again, they have no filters. I mean, I'm sure he's not going to insult them. That's not his job tonight. But it's rather ironic, is it not? Anyway, and you know, the thing is, I wonder how Trump is going. He's going to play this tonight. It's interesting. I think he's going to really play it, you know, cool down the middle. He looks a little different. His body language seems a little different. He seems more, you know, less confrontational, less swaggering than that he was. I mean, not that he seems wimpy or anything like that. But I guess it is really a life-changing experience, you know, to get shot and survive. You know, I think it was Winston Churchill who said that. I give it somewhere, maybe not in this one, but to be shot at with no effect is an exhilarating experience. Winston Churchill said that in the more war, B-O-E-R, war in South Africa. And I think there's something to it. I mean, just to be threatened with death by a hitman and survive is an exhilarating experience. And this is so, so much more than that. 844, 540, 242, 207, I was wondering how they could get rid of Biden, of course, COVID. You know, the thing is though, I hope he hangs in there and there are stories and, you know, I'm hanging on. You know, I'm more interested right now in what's going on with the Democrats than with the Republicans. You know, we know what's going to happen with the Republicans. You know, soccer will be great, Trump will be fantastic, and the party is unified. I want to see what's going to happen here. This is a kind of a cliffhanger and they, you know, they made it seem earlier in the day like it was a done deal and that he'd be gone by the end of the weekend. And now though, there are other stories saying that he's a very stubborn guy and that he may try to hang on. I tell you one thing though, did you see him trying to get off the plane last night? Air Force one, that was about as brutal video as I've seen of him getting off the plane. And what happened to the short steps? Those were longer steps last night. And by the way, speaking, speaking of, you know, that he will pull out of a doctor tells him to where the hell is Dr. Joe? You know, I mean, her, her husband is, is barely alive. Seriously, he's, he is, he is not sentient and, and she's, where is she? She's been nowhere to be seen and he's having a tough time getting off the, and, and there's no more of this, this, you know, trying to be, you know, this active guy pretending to, you know, run down, he's, he's stumbling, you know, I've seen, I've seen people with Parkinson's. That's what he looks. I don't have any personal experience with, with people who have it, but I've seen people that have Parkinson's. That's exactly what it looks like. Wow. 844-542-508 Brandon wishes he was as sharp as that vet last night. You know, Brandon, you know, but this guy, the, the guy that was 98 years old, the World War II vet, he said, I'll, I'll enlist, I'll enlist on January 20th of Trump, but his back in there, you know, Biden, when he was 18, was running away. He was a, he was a draft dodger. They never talk about, they all, they always used to talk about Trump being a draft dodger, but they, you know, they never, they never talk about Biden getting all of his, his deferments. But you know, anyway, they, they, I was talking with Deaton about this on John Deaton. I saw him on, you know, he was, he was with Grace yesterday, the Republican Senate candidate, and he's, he's a Marine and, and he, and he said, you know, I, no one has been mentioning, you know, Trump's deferments lately, but they'll never mention him again. You take a bullet, no one's going to, no one's going to ask what, you know, what your status was in the old days, what your, what your, what your draft classification was 844-542-42. This is, I, there's so many great cuts today again, and, and you know, these may be the last of the Biden cuts for the, except for, I mean, I know he'll still be president if he's gone, but do you think they're going to put him out a lot? No. Are there any nurses in the room? You, you have got to, you, you got to hear this one though about why he's losing black support. You, I mean, can you, just think, as you listen to these words, imagine if a Republican, any Republican had said what he said, what he's saying, cut eight. I think that, and one thing that's changed is, it's not an excuse of an explanation. I would ordinarily be going to black neighborhoods on crowning the foot, working through neighborhoods. I would transition every, I'd close every campaign, no matter what campaign, going into the projects and going on the east side, and hey, Joe, well, how you know, you know, maybe well, just because of the reference, letting no one's still there, we can't do that now, not because of the black community, because it's too dangerous for me to be out walking on another company. So what I'm doing though, is trying to keep in touch with as many of my black constituents and many people know that I'm available, I'm available. I really, that's the reason why I got involved in politics in the first place, not a joke. Not a joke. So of course, it deserves a shot, everybody deserves a shot. And we've never seen you give them a shot, they step up, they step up in every community. That's why the black community is doing as well as it is now, it's going to do better. He's still available. He wanted to deliver some cash to him, he's, you know, he doesn't have to sit down, Hunter, he can pick it up himself. It's too dangerous to walk through the black neighborhoods. Isn't that what Jesse Jackson said, a few years back, he said, you know, when he hears some steps behind him and he laid at night, and he turns around that it's a white guy, he breathes a sigh of relief because he's, it's less likely something's going to happen to him. How different is what he's just said than what Jesse Jackson said? And that was, that was before he was diagnosed with, you know, the thing that was, that may be his last interview as a candidate for, for, for office, for reelection. But let's, but I don't, you know, I'm, I'm perplexed. I'm confused because I thought that if you got a vaccine, you weren't going to get COVID. And he's had multiple vaccines, we, he's taken all kinds of vaccines, cut six. Souchy, ouchy cut 16 and listen to Dr. Fauci, Dr. Fauci assured me the COVID-9 vaccine vaccines were safe. The COVID-9 vaccine is safe. Can we quote you on that, Mr. President? Cut 14. And if you're fully vaccinated, get one more COVID shot. Once a year, that's it. One for the road, one for my baby and one more for the road. Cut 11. Repeating myself. But Dr. Fauci said it very clearly, booster shots work. They significantly increase. They do. They do. They provide the highest level of protection against Omicron. They're safe. Cut 10. The various shots that people are getting now cover that. You're okay. You're not going to, you're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations. Yeah. How many times has he had COVID? Has he had more COVID shots than he's had COVID? And by the way, that those, a lot of those, those sound cuts, they're from 2021. And he was senile then. How much worse he sounds than what he was just talking about, how it was too dangerous to walk through the black neighborhoods. I mean, he's, he's really far gone now, 844, 844, 542, 42, Trump just got a shot. And his polls are even higher than they were before. Yes, you are correct, Andrew, 844, 542, 42. Today's poll question is brought to you by American Independence Gold Group. Gold reached record highs yesterday at $2,483, almost $2,500 and continues to hold above $24.50. Banksy gold rising to $2,700 to $3,000 by year's end. That would be a good return on investment if you bought today and it was $3,000 by the end of the year. We have more information about metals today at howiecargold.com that's howiecargold.com. Jared, what's the poll question? What are the results thus far? Today's poll question, which you can vote in at howiecarshow.com, is how long will Kim cheat over Maine as Secret Service Director? A week or less, at least until Labor Day or until January 20, 2025. I'm going to go for January 20, 2025, inauguration day. 63% of the audience agrees with you, 28% think a week or less and 9% say at least until Labor Day. All right. I think the more they chase her around, that's kind of like a resume enhancer in the Democrat party. But I thought those senators were great last night. Sometimes I agree with a lot of the listeners. They're just too namby-pamby and they have these hearings and they just yell and it's just a fundraising effort. But those people, Blackburn and Barrasso, and maybe there were a couple others, they were angry and they were yelling at her. I liked it. 844, 542, 42. Someone's quoting Dennis Miller, "I haven't seen security like that since the Lee Harvey Oswald jail transfer." This is from the Biden campaign, a black congresswoman, I guess, I never heard of a representative Joyce Beatty, cut 18. So yes, this November we're going to make America great again. You got to see, she's in front of a Biden-Harris side and she's saying yes. I mean, even Biden, as far gone as he is, he knew enough. He almost blurted it out a couple of days ago, but even he didn't go all the way. Why you messing up? Alex, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead Alex. Howie, I was hoping I could explain why I think Lindsey Graham should be Kamala's running mate. I think now that the Democrats, they tried to bankrupt Trump, they tried to put him in jail, they tried to kill him, I think they know that Trump's getting in. The next phase is that they're going to go off the charts with the rhinos into the point where there just isn't a Republican party anymore. I don't know. They said, last night at the convention, somebody tweeted out that Lindsey Graham, Tucker Carlson was tweeting out about this earlier this week, Lindsey Graham was on a jag, maybe a crying jag on top of everything else, trying to stop JD Vance from getting the nomination as Vice President. He just hates the guy. I think it has to do with Ukraine and doing the bidding of Rupert Murdoch. So Lindsey Graham is sitting next to 94-year-old Dirty Digger, Rupert Murdoch, who had all of his newspapers, all of his TV channels, relentlessly dumping on JD Vance, promoting first Nikki Haley, then Doug Bergum, then Glenn Yunken, anybody but Vance, ABV, and they're both staring there as JD Vance delivers this really, really good speech. They had to be a little down in the dumps about it, and I'm happy they are. Again, they're going to be down in the dumps again tonight when they see Taka for maybe for about 15, 20 minutes, taking their measure, their full measure. David, you're next with Howie Carr, go ahead, David. I didn't hear it, but my 85-year-old wife tells me that you said the other day that anybody in their 80s should be sitting on a couch thinking about how they're going to die. No, I said Dapper, wait a second, I said Dapper, Dapper used to say if there was some old lady giving him crap, he would lean over and say, look at that, Brodge, you've got to be home praying for a happy death. Okay, I misunderstood that. I was going to, in fact, that's what you had said, I was going to challenge you to a ski race in the first part of January, do any mountain that you choose within anything? No thanks. I am not in any place near snow in January. I learned that a long time ago. Thanks, David. Clean out your ears next time. Very fake. Fred, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Fred. Quickly. Yeah. Yeah, I just picked up the Manchester Union leader Monday morning, and I saw the worst photo of Trump that they could find plastered on the front page, and I called him to cancel my subscription. I think these people, you know, what, fear that photo, it's the, you know, a jima photo. Absolutely. I read the, I read the piece in the Washington Post yesterday, and they basically were calling for it to be, to be banned, you know, that it was, it was going to be dangerous. They're calling it photo ganda, and in a sane society that would have already won the Pulitzer Prize for a spot photography for 2024. But we don't live in a sane society. I'm Howie Carr. Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. You know, Martha Blackburn was great last night. The senator from Tennessee with John Barrasso, the, the physician who's the senator from Wyoming, and Martha Blackburn was yelling at, at Kim Cheadle, the secret service director, and she used the old Joe Lewis line, "You can run, but you can't hide." That's what he used for the, the bomb of the month. That's what they called all these, these, these pugs that they were putting up to fight him, these Joe Pollukas. And this is, Kim Cheadle is in a Joe Polluka of a hack-a-ram, I don't know who it is. But she's not going anywhere. First, she brought up the sloped roof excuse, and now I just read on Breitbart, she's doubling down. She is not going anywhere. She's pulling a Joe Biden, and she's saying, "You're not getting rid of me just yet." You know, I loved seeing that word in the New York Post headline about an hour ago. Joe Biden, stop it. Hang in there, Joe baby, say it ain't so, Joe. Well that actually brings me to the first batch of stories I want to go over, howie. You've hit on some of them already, but there seems to be a rainstorm of just different people turning their backs on Joe Biden. Now we're hearing that Nancy Pelosi had a meeting. Her team is denying this. I think this was, I thought this was last week. By the way, it's Marsha Blackburn, not Martha Sue, sorry. What am I turning you to Patches Kennedy? She did have a meeting last week, Chuck Schumer had a meeting last week, and Hakeem Jeffery said a meeting last week, but it's worth noting that we didn't find out about it until yesterday. So there seems to be some coordinated, you know, leaking going on here to try to. I want the Zoom call. I'm, I'm still, I'm not giving up on that. Don't give up hope. Don't give up hope. There's still time. On top of that today, the Washington Post had a story that Obama was telling his aides that he thinks that the road, the path to victory, as they call it, for Biden is bleak. No kidding. What a, what a political seer he is. Now Axios is saying that Joe Biden could drop out of the race by this weekend. That's why I wrote the column for tomorrow in the Herald. I don't want to, I don't want to, I don't want to leave all those cuts on the floor. Bush. But you know what I liked, I liked the DNC chair who likened the effort to oust Biden to January 6th. This is the road that I want the Democrats to go down, which is if you try to kick him out, it is an insurrection. It is, you know, trying to undo our democracy. It's a 14 million people voted for Joe Biden. Of course, in most states, the Democrats made sure there was nobody else to vote for. It was kind of like an Iranian election or a North Korean election. Do you want to play this? This is Jamie Harrison from the DNC. Yeah. Where is he? Where is he? This is always my guiding light. Right? It is the, the millions of voters who went to the polls and voted for Joe Biden. And you know, oftentimes we talk about January 6th and the importance of that and we talk about Donald Trump's effort to overturn the will of the people. Well, we got to be very careful in this situation that we don't overturn the will of the people. I don't agree. Donald Trump tried to overturn the will of the people, but I'm with you on everything else. Mr. Chairman. Now, the question is, if Joe Biden does pass the torch, that's the expression we keep seeing a lot of, including from Adam's ship yesterday in the LA Times. If he does pass the torch, don't you mean if he gets pushed on to the subway tracks? Wouldn't that be a more appropriate analogy? I like pass the torch. It's a little less violent. If he passes the torch to Kamala Harris, who do you think she chooses us or VP? I don't know. They are all terrible. All the people in your poll question were terrible. Gavin Newsom, Pritzker, Gretchen Whitmer. I don't think Pritzker makes the cut. Number one, there hasn't been a guy win an election that weighed 500 pounds since William Henry Harris, William Howard Taft in 1908. Wasn't he connected to trying to buy the Senate seat when Obama became president? Didn't his name turn up on it? I believe it did when the feds were recording a Blagoia vetch selling the Senate seat and he said, "How much will Pritzker give me for it?" I'm sure if he's nominated, I'll be able to remember that. That cut perfectly. Now, here's a question. If Kamala Harris is at the top of the ticket and there's still one debate that's scheduled, do you think Donald Trump should debate her? Absolutely. Yes, the debate. All right. He doesn't have to do anything. No, but again, I think we're going to see a different Donald Trump, a slightly different Donald Trump tonight. I think we're going to see a little, not Casper milk toast, but we're going to see a slightly mellower Donald Trump. Yeah. And speaking of the RNC last night, a lot of highlights, a lot of Gold Star family members were able to speak. A World War II veteran was able to speak and throw his support behind Donald Trump. And also Donald Trump, Jr.'s daughter, Kai, was able to explain to people why she loves her grandfather so much. And a lot of this stuff was circulating on social media. And even, even some people on scene then had to admit that this convention is going pretty well for the Republicans. As you pointed out, Howie, I know you didn't use the word diversity, but there are a lot of people from a lot of different walks of life who are underneath this Republican tent. And I think they're doing a pretty good job. And they're also doing a good job of weaving in some really heartfelt, powerful stories with a little bit of fun. Like every once in a while, they'll bring on someone where it's not so serious. And it seems like they're able to keep the energy going because of that. Right. No, I agree. Spike has a good point that passed the torch, Joe, set, let someone else finish the arson. Yeah, that's actually pretty good. That's a good way to describe it. No. Those mostly peaceful protests as Joe called him just the other day again in 2020. My hair's on fire. I know you've been really excited about getting other people to nominate you for a Pulitzer Prize. Yes. And I just want you to know that there are other people who are in the running and who are now trying to claim that they too were on top of all this. That is why I wrote the column almost two weeks ago now, just to point out that, you know, I'm not going to stand by well while all these Rupert Murdoch rhinos like Peggy Noonan and the limey come lately. Piers Morgan claimed they wrote these columns stolen valor. I'm going to my entries are going in in a wheelbarrow. Well, someone else who's joining, I wouldn't put this under Rupert Murdoch at all. Morning Joe, the panel at Morning Joe is now trying to claim that they too were on top of all of this. Willie guys said, I think what we saw yesterday was everything we've been hearing in private, not just frankly, for the last three weeks, but for a long time spilled out publicly, which begs the question, why didn't you say anything? If you've known about this for so long, here's the thing. If you're in, if you're in the media broadcast or print and you don't say it on the air or you don't write it and print it, it doesn't count. Yes, I would. That's real basic stuff. Yeah. You don't get any prizes for saying things in private. You know, it's like saying, you know, Thursday night, I had a dream that the president was going to almost be killed in Pennsylvania on Thursday. It doesn't count unless you told somebody. Yeah. No, I totally agree. It's like we have no way to verify this. We have no way to. But I do believe them when they say we knew it for a long time, my wheelbarrow to verify what I wrote. No one's questioning. Sir, you're, you get very, very upset that we're questioning your authenticity here. I think that you are, you have plenty of credentials to get this prize. I'm just worried that people are honing in on what is rightfully yours. That's why I'm going to try to hedge my bets and also go for a Profiles Encourage award. The double whammy. And the Nobel Prize for literature. Have you ever come close before? Are you making sport of me, the chair, the text, the needle? I'm just curious. I've been working for a tabloid since I was about 16 or sometimes it seems that way and I actually 25. So yeah, no, I haven't. Okay. I know you were talking earlier in the show, Howie, about JD Vance. He also gave a really powerful moving speech last night. He gave a shout out to his mother who was addicted to drugs when he was a child but is now 10 years sober. He talked about maybe celebrating the official 10 year in the White House. It was a great speech and I think what a lot of people were pointing out, not liberals because they hate JD Vance, but a lot of conservatives were highlighting the fact that here is a guy who, while a lot of his agenda aligns with Donald J. Trump, his background is so different and there's something to be said for that. Donald Trump gets a lot of heat for having it being born with a silver spoon, JD Vance, far from it. No, not at all. And, you know, Charlotte, my daughter sent me this. I think it's from the New York Times today. This is, you know, the profile piece on JD Vance. They interviewed one of his college roommates, law school roommates. As apartment mates during their first year at Yale, Mr. McLaurin felt an affinity to Mr. Vance because they had both graduated from state schools. But their friendship began to fray, Mr. McLaurin said, after he chafed, he chafed, at what he viewed as Mr. Vance's cynical and sarcastic jokes aimed at Yale elites. So, I'm not going to give him any more grief for going to Yale, because he knew what kind of bodily orifices they were, just like you and I did, just from running into them on the street. Well, I mean, and he went to Yale on almost a full ride. That's pretty incredible, especially for a white guy. That doesn't happen every single day. Right. I mean, I just think he's beyond intelligent, which is why it's so funny now to hear the Biden Harris and some, one of my textures, how he did say, you keep saying that they're trying to claim JD Vance is scared. It's the same people. It's the Biden Harris HQ social media account. It's the Harry Sysons. Like, you know, all these Democratic Joe Biden fanboys, they're trying to say that we challenge Kamala. We challenge JD Vance and he rejected the debate. He wants to be sure that he's going to debate the person who's going to be VP. Right. Is that so much to ask? I hate this idea that Republicans have to agree to every single one of their conditions. And then all we say is, can we make sure it's going to be the actual VP? Yeah. You're afraid. JD Vance, he hasn't agreed to debate Mr. X. Right. I mean, I would see the odds are the odds are born favor. The Mr. X is going to be the vice presidential nominee than Kamala Harris. If I had to bet, I would say Mr. X right now, because, especially since the Adam shift thing, there's no way that Pelosi's Schumer shift all these people want Biden to step aside and he's not going to do it. But yeah, you're right. And I don't think that there's there's the granddaughter. She's on Fox right now. She did a great job. Her funniest cut was when she talked about Trump calling her up at school to talk to ask her about her golf game and then she threw in and to tell me about his. I thought that was the perfect way to give him the needle just a little bit. And it was a really great speech. I thought everyone last night did a great job, although I did miss baby dog. Baby dog should be out there every every night. Well, you're going to have to just become a University of Georgia football fan and you'll see Ooga, who is who looks a lot like baby dog, just a little lighter fur than a baby dog. That's all. All right. Howie, that's it for me. Oh, and I just want to let people know we have a couple of great articles up at howiecarshow.com, including if you want to see the evolution of Joe Biden's reasoning for what would get him out of this presidential election, it is up there at howiecarshow.com. And also the JD, the Trump campaign's response to I read that yesterday on the air. It's really funny. Yeah. It's really funny. It's pretty savage. So check that out at howiecarshow.com. All right. eight four four five hundred forty two forty two precious metals are having a banner year. Gold is setting new session highs this morning as the price breaks the twenty four hundred dollar threshold. This comes after core CPI reports an increase to three point three percent lower than expected. The gold market has moved strongly this year. Conversely, the standard in pores is only up three point eight percent for the first six months of the year. So metals are once again a very lucrative investment. The Emperor of Hate, Howie Carr, is back. You and I aren't physicians, Mary, but there certainly do seem to be a lot of unexplained, unexpected, unanticipated deaths among younger groups that don't normally just keel over and have heart attacks or strokes since this thing started. I wonder what's the max of the shot you can have and the boost you can have until it starts to send you the other way. I don't know, I think some people get one shot and I know one of the superior officers in the state police took one shot and he had a stroke and he couldn't even drive anymore. 844, thanks for the call. That's a really good... If you're fully vaccinated, get one more COVID shot. Once a year, that's it. Cut 12. Give me cut 12. We'll play a couple more. A fully vaccinated booster person is the most protected against COVID. I guess I just had the one shot or maybe two, but I'm not a fully vaccinated booster person unlike you. And unlike you, dementia Joe, I don't have COVID. Cut 13. This is an epidemic of the unvaccinated pandemic and unvaccinated. And apparently the vaccinated too, if you include you, cut 15. This is a simple basic proposition. If you're vaccinated, you're not going to be hospitalized. You're not going to be an ICU unit and you're not going to die. But when's he coming? So when are you coming up isolation? By the way, he says he's going to meet with Netanyahu next week. Netanyahu is coming to D.C. to deliver a speech to Congress. Is he going to, is he going to meet with him face to face? And by the way, and also there was even someone on MSNBC when he was daughtering off Air Force one last night, asked the question, why is he wearing a mask? I mean, it already, it already announced he was diagnosed, right? I think that announced it before he got off the plane, but he's not even wearing a mask. I thought that was the, I thought that was a cena qua non, as they say, Meghan, you're next with how we car go ahead, Meghan. How, how, a couple of things, I think they're not going to take a black woman off the ticket. No, it's going to be come out as president, I think they're going to add a second black woman as vice president, it's going to be Mrs. Obama. I think we've been indoctrinated that she doesn't want to be president because she hates politics. And she would say, I'm doing this, I don't want to, but I'm so concerned. I don't know, I'm, you know, maybe, maybe I'm not insufficiently paranoid, Meghan, but I don't, I don't see her in the mix. I don't see a second woman in the mix. I think they need a, I think they need to have a guy on the, on the second slot and I, but again, they're very few acceptable people, I think, to most Americans, actually, not just, not just MAGA people, but I mean, Pritzker or Newsom or Shapiro, I mean, are these, are these really alpha males? Seriously. They're, they're not the Democrats. I'm Howie Carr. [MUSIC]
