Good evening. Welcome to my stuffy after dark. It is 919 p.m. and the panhandle. And it is 34 degrees. We are supposed to get a little below freezing on tonight. So that's what's happening down here. I know in other areas they are getting a lot of snow. Well, let me go ahead and get to the nightly rundown. Today was a national bean day. Maybe you had some 15 bean soup on a day like today because those temps when they started falling, they started falling fast. Today in black history 22 years ago, Mamie Teal Mobley died. And if you don't know your history that was Emmett Teal's momma passed away 22 years ago on today. Florida is flirting with making the flamingo the state boat. I think right now it's the mockingbird and this is going to be real fun to see how this plays out because someone that I know of has a real problem with those pink birds that stand on one leg. In fact, it might be a hashtag out there regarding flamingos. Enrude and racist news. The VP which is still his device president was doing her duty as wearing in a senator. I forgot what state she's from and the husband was there. Well, BB Harris came up. She shook the wife and she went to shake his hand and he would not make eye contact with her continued to stare at the floor. Did not shake her hand. When she initially stood close to him she had told me she wasn't biting even the picture. It's considerably distance. People are trying to give him excuses and he had a cane. It probably was one of those three prongs. He was holding the Bible that his wife swore in on and this was just racist and rude. And the reason why I'm calling it out is racist is because when his wife swore in once before and Mike Pence was the VP it was all smiles. It was like a different person. He was very ugly about what he did today and he's getting called out and that little clip has gone viral. I've seen when someone don't even want to give you a look. They don't even look as like you don't exist and then to act like that we as black people have all seen and been there and to do that to the VP of the United States is just totally disgusting. A topic tonight what I want you to think about was the next user posted that the airport is not a place for independence and he was talking to the mom of toddlers and he was saying that you know a lot of times toddlers don't want to walk and the airport you need to pick them up. That's not the time to be trained in the hand there passed to the gay agent. They may not want to cooperate and he was like you're holding up the line and people are rushing trying to make their flights and it's no time for that. You may think it's cute but that's not the time for teacher or mommas. And the people in the comments were really like you're teaching your child independence. No and not only is he right about that in the airport I can't stand in stores when they think it's cute for little Susie to hand the items to the lady. For little Susie to help to scan them at the self check. For little Susie to hand me each individual library books and your family has a ton of books when I work in that lane. Now nobody is behind you and somebody has all day to do that. I say go for it. Tell me what you think in the comments. In BS News a conservative legal group has filed a civil rights complaint against Northern Illinois University. A black achievement and a black male initiative. So that's what we're doing now. So I guess the days of black student union which we had on the campus of at the time was the Gulf Coast Community College. North Gulf Coast State College here locally where I went. I guess we can't have things like that because they look at it as separate. But we aren't welcome in some of their clothes or fraternities. Today will a fortune premiered I believe. You know what I'm gonna let it along because I don't know that it premiered and I don't have the date but it was on today. Tonight it's gonna be a freeze morning with the wheel. The windshield was gonna make it feel like 21 and yes let's get down to 30 overnight. Giuliani is being held in contempt of court for not turning over property to those two election markers that he's supposed to. He's been fussing about he doesn't have this and he doesn't have that. That usually happens when your stuff is part of a settlement. Nicki Minaj is not going to be arrested because the warrant was denied and that came from the Wayne County prosecutor who I believe is Kim Worthy. The first death from the bird flu has happened out in Louisiana which was the first reported case. McDonald's of all freaking places is rolling back their diversity initiatives. In stupid criminal news a female texts the investigator and not her drug dealer that came courtesy of Bay County Sheriff's Office and they pretty likely set up the deal for fentanyl. Marrow at the gas station and she was arrested on a multitude of charges. Next up when a storm Chora is gonna call snow and ice primarily in the south. So that's it.
