(upbeat music) - Good morning coming into my world, Steffi's world, I am Steffi girl. It is 159 PM on a Saturday morning. I hope all is well wherever you are in the room. It is 60 degrees down here in the Panhandle. Florida actually is 60 sunny degrees down here. We've had some cold nights and are gearing up for some colder ones. It's gonna be probably within the twenties, I believe Monday night until Thursday. Also, Winter Storm Blair is probably gonna affect, I believe, parts of the Midwest as down south and there is something else that is happening from pretty much Washington State all across the country, Michigan, Lake Effect Snow, all the way over to the East Coast. So yes, serious snow falls and a lot of wintery mess. So wherever you are, get prepared, be prepared, stay prepared. Well, I like wearing message clothing and I have on a shirt that says I love my library, which is partly a lie. I'm partial to them because I used to work in that lane. I wouldn't say I'm all in love with them, but I understand the importance of public libraries and I will tell you that free library card is the most valuable card that you could have. It opens up access to a lot of free services and things. So get your library card. Always come on to give you some news you could use as well as some things to make you go, hmm. So let's get started. First up in sports news, Miami Heat is going to trade Jimmy Butler, but he's gonna get a seven game suspension. They said his conduct over the last couple of weeks have been a destruction to the team. I'm thoroughly confused because just the other day, I saw him with Pat Rowley and Pat Rowley said everything was good, but apparently it wasn't. And I hope that it all works out for Jimmy Butler. Next, I wanna talk about a little bit on again, celebrity culture and what goes on. We make these people into idols and gods and some of them don't want it and don't ask for it. Right now there's a female baller, and I don't wanna think that she said this, but it's out there that she said that she's so pretty. It's to the point she can't even go to the gas station anymore. And my thing is this, if it's getting that serious, but you can't hardly go out and you're a little concerned for her safety, people ask for pictures of the night. She agreed, but she was on live and she said that she was a little bothered and people getting closer. Then it's time for you to stop driving yourself. Get security or a bodyguard, it's time. At the same time, we as people have to stop chasing people, hounding people, and I'm to the point in my life. I don't approach celebrities anymore. Some of my interactions with them have not been good. I have not wanted to scream, fall out, fangirl, do any of that back in the day. I almost had my arm broke by one of Hammer's bodyguard. He was, I saw him for the second time. And he was singing, past me, not. And he was on the ground floor of Tallahassee, Leon County Civic Center. And I reached over to touch his hand and he touched mine and held it. The bodyguard was in between me and him and he was, I can't really show you with my arm. He had my arm up and if he would have took it up, probably father, he probably could have broke it. I was not grabbing Hammer. I was not fangirl or not. I wasn't doing any of that. And a lot of bodyguards were jackasses. It was only one that I met who was not that and that was actually Hammer's bodyguard. The first time he came to Tallahassee, Leon County Civic Center. I'll never forget that interaction and I'm not gonna call his name, but he probably saved me that night. And I have pictures, but they probably would never see the light of day. So that's it, that's all. But we build these people up larger than life. And I think about it as I like to say, when they have to start living almost like an official ball, MJ couldn't go anywhere. Beyonce, she can't run down to the corner store. Janet is the same way as well as others. And I just really just thought about like, how does that feel not to be able to do simple things anymore? Just because of who you are and then you have kids in this. So it is hard navigating this. This young lady, like I said, she's a female baller. She's a young lady. She wants to enter her life and you have people. The way she dress being a very critical. Now she's be referred to as a thought, which means that whole over there. And it strikes something in me because when I was in my 20s, party girl phase, always out doing what I wouldn't do. I was, that wasn't the term for them, but I was pretty much said to be that. And I was not, I was not. I was just trying to live and have a good time. But what my suggestion to the female baller would be to go away for a while. Just don't be seen, if they get pictures of you, is you going in and out, do your thing as far as playing. Ball professionally, if you were working with brands and that sort of thing, and they would not, they would not see me. They said that her IG account is now deactivated. And I hope it stays that way as well as the rest of her social media. But we contribute to this mess by the way we treat them and idolize them. In State News, Polk County, which is further south than me, and has Sheriff Grady, look him up, the grand jury is investigating Monique Whirls, administration that she's due to swear in. Let me give you a little bit of history about Monique. I believe she was a prosecutor who got in this Santa's crosshairs, he had it in for her. And I believe he removed her from her seat. She ran again, got 58% of the vote, just got reelected back to her seat, because obviously the people of Polk County wanted her there and now this. So you can't tell me that somebody is working in coups with the governor to keep this woman out of that seat, but she wanted fair and square, and her administration is under investigation. In local news, we have elections coming up, and I believe they were in April. The mayor is running for re-election. He has, I believe, two opposers. Ward one, the commissioner is retiring. How do you think you just think I might throw her a party? She has some people vying for her seat. And in Ward four, that commissioner is running for re-election. I do not like him, that is the St. Andrews area. Like I said, I've seen some names that give me calls for Paul. So when you see people always in the comments and always got something to say, I watched how they move a little closely. I also know that they were two women on the commissioner. If that one that's retiring goes, that's gonna leave one woman who is most likely a Democrat amongst pretty much Republican men. That ain't gonna work. They're trying to stack that commission, and I'm just like, no. Now, the mayor said, I'm hearing that the mayor is MAGA. I hear things like Deep State come out of his mouth. But for the most part, I don't see the usual MAGA trace out of him. He's a strange bird, because what the reason why he has opposition, he ain't about the money people. He wants to do different, he's been about change. He questions a lot of what that commission does. And he was willing to bring a black man to be city manager from Baltimore in here. And yet, and still, the majority went for the white guy who has served up under the previous administration for eight years and then getting nothing done, being head of public works, to a position that he's in now as city manager with that much power. That's what was done, and the mayor called it out. And that's what they don't like about him, is that he calls it out. We'll see what happens. There has been an update. I talked about the story last night, the Amazon worker who was hit by the car down in New Orleans and shot, but she survived Amazon. She was a warehouse worker that would not approve her leave. All of a sudden, after social media backlash, they reviewed their decision, they're wishing her a speedy recovery. I can bet you she ain't gonna have a job. And people wonder why I'm not jumping for joy about them possibly setting up a warehouse here. Presidential Medal of Freedoms have been given to Chef Andres of World Kitchen. Y'all know the love affair have of that man. He fed us, the organization fed us after Hurricane Michael and took care of us. Denzel Washington received it as well as they say MAGA's heads are exploding on this Saturday morning. Hillary Rotten Clinton received it. (air whooshing) I wanna drop something about Facebook groups. I saw a post where a woman was on, are we dating the same guy? And it was in the Raleigh Durham area. And when they're spilling the tea on me. Well, they booted her out the group. Somebody screenshot one of the guys that she knew that she spoke about and the guy in turn reached out to her fiance. So now she pretty much ever exposed the whole group. Let me tell you about Facebook groups. I avoid them. I avoid them like to play. When I tried to be nice and be part of some groups, I was always getting deans about, well, it's about what God has done for you. One was miracles, like miracles happen every day. I don't see nobody walking on water, but they wouldn't do that. I tried to play along. And I wasn't seeing miracles either. I put me being alive was a miracle. And that wasn't good enough for them and a couple of the groups. And then finally, I said to hell with it. I am with the group thing. I have a Facebook group that consists of a close friend and my sister is to three of us and it would always be the three of us. And it's a space, space for us to be able to talk without somebody jumping in the comments. Detroit and Black and White is one of the YouTube channels that I found us geared towards. All things Detroit, as well as their politics. I kind of like it. And this morning, they were talking about a scandal down in Taylor, which I lived in Taylor, which is downriver. I lived suburbs, east side, west side. As I say, worldwide Detroit, I lived all over Detroit. But what was interesting about the Tony scandal is the rub is the companies that they wanted to go with had questionable backgrounds and they didn't want to do background checks and they had opposition from the council. Not the same scenario, but the city manager who I was complaining about, who they could not wait to put in the office, tried to give an exclusive contract to one Tony company here. You just tried that at the beginning of the year. Well, the plot was found out the mayor got a late midnight call and they had to bring all the tow companies in and assure them that wasn't what was happening at the commissioning meeting that following Tuesday. I know it because I was there. And somebody made an interesting observation that it's big money with contracts regarding total towing and debris removal. Here, a neighboring municipality got in a whole bunch of trouble with the feds about hands in the cookie jar and debris removal. And rumor had it that my city was under investigation with the feds as well about the same thing. Hands in the cookie jar and debris removal. Last thing on my docket is Astor Varian, a stovorian cholesterol medicine. I have concerns. I'm seeing things on Reddit and I've seen it other places. Astor Varian about it. And I'm just wondering, is it safe? I had to take it for some time during my recovery after stroke and just one more thing to worry about. So is it safe or isn't it safe? This crew is really quick in the YouTube streets. Well, not the YouTube streets. I'm starting with the metaverse first and see what's happening out there. Maya is practicing celibacy and she's been that way for 70 years now. I think that is huge. I've been on that train for about three years. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do. And for those who don't understand, it's not for you to understand. Okay, let's go over to X. Michael J. Slox received the Medal of Freedom. They had to help him up there, but he's up there. Okay, that's it. That's all. Let's go over to Bloor Skies, where you can find me over there at Stuffy Girl. Apple CEO, Tim Cook will personally donate $1 million to Trump's inaugural committee. I want to take my iPhone and throw it right about now. All the tech bros. I think I can end on that note. If you want to connect with me, you can follow me at Ms. Cosby on instant and on spill. If you find yourself stop by the police, try to make it home safely out of that stuff alive. Mask up over your mouth and over your nose. Try your absolute positivity best to love one another. Say what needs to be said, do what needs to be done. Try to fix what you can while you're here. Till the next time, peace. [BLANK_AUDIO]
