Good evening. Welcome to my step at night. Actually my 11 at 11, I hope all is well. Wherever you are in the world, it is 11. 39 p.m. and I decided to come back on one. Late night. Just wanted to give you the top 11 things that's on my radar. Happy celebrity birthdays to Tank and Morris Chestnut who is celebrating on today. Locally, there will be an event on January 4th which is Saturday. A food drop at New Church. I really don't know. It's located on New Church Ave, New Church Drive. You have to Google it and pull up the location but it starts at 8.30 and that is Saturday, January 4th. It's probably one of the first ones of the New Year. Next up, there was an I had an update regarding the terrorist incident. What happened in New Orleans? It happened around 3.15 a.m. the suspect was killed as you probably know by now. The sugar bowl, excuse me, was supposed to have went down and it was postponed. I'm hearing that some people are pissed and I find that it was pushed back 24 hours because the city really needed this time and law enforcement needed to do what they needed to do. Now I watched the press conference today and I kind of seen it through a different lens. A lot of people talking about the rudeness and the tone. First of all, you had people that was on the mic that shouldn't have been on the mic. That was the first thing. Second of all, the media kept asking intrusive questions that you're simply not going to get the answer to with a case of this magnitude and all the moving parts. People must don't understand about securing an active crime scene. That's why the mayor said eight blocks surrounding Bourbon Street. If you didn't need to be there, don't come down. Don't sight see, don't do any of that. They need all that blocked off and the security as they can get it. I can guarantee you tomorrow it's going to be top notch and down their lockdown around that. I think it's a super known what they'll be playing and the governor and other people are saying that they're going there. Now there is the tourism aspect. They want people to continue to come through from the city. This is the whole city for the Super Bowl as well as Mardi Gras is going down a couple of months. So they're trying to do all they need to do, but the media kept asking stupid questions that they were simply not going to answer. They explained about the safety, I don't want to call them barricades, but in the front that did not stop the vehicle because he cut around it and went behind the police car to drive up on the sidewalk. And they're in the process of replacing all of those because of the approaching Super Bowl not thinking that something like this would happen. The first victim that was I did and the name came out tonight was 18-year-old. No, it's escaped me and I knew who it was. I know her middle name is Cheyenne and I believe was Dead Dro of Gulfport, Mississippi. She was 18 years old and actually she was going to be headed to nursing school on the 20th of this month. It is very, very sad and prayers to New Orleans. I love that city. I've only been once always I've said that I would like to go back, but it was funny after the first visit I just always kept up with what was going on down there. I've always felt drawn to them and now I share something in common with the people of New Orleans. They went through Katrina. I went through and survived Hurricane Michael, which was a cat five. I talked to my female worker about things, two different hurricanes and no I didn't see the death and destruction to the level that the people of their had, but I have gone through it too and I've always I've always rooted for the quote-unquote underdog. I have always loved the food, loved the culture and really hate this for them. Prayers to all of the victims. Prayers to the families of the deceased, prayers to the families that have loved ones in the hospital and don't know. There's people in critical condition. There was reports saying that death toll had went from 10 up to 15 because some people have life-threatening injuries, so it's gonna be a lot coming out over the next couple of days and all I can say is to the media be patient. You're gonna have to be patient on this one because like I said you have New Orleans PD, state troopers and the FBI. That is a lot. Next up there was a vehicle explosion at a Trump hotel out in Vegas. It was a Tulsa Cybertruck pulled up the valley, exploded and the driver was killed. Law enforcement there I believe that police chief or somebody was thanking Elon about how to unlock the vehicle and this that and the third news like you're gonna think the man what is behind these I don't know if the incidents but it's been problems with those trucks anyway but you're publicly thanking him whatever 102 years ago on January 1st 1922 1923 in Rosewood the massacre began and if you're not familiar with Rosewood massacre in Rosewood which you probably have to do some research to find it on the map because it was it was burned down on the lie of a white woman who said that a black man raped her and it was a black man that she was sleeping with so that's what happened in Rosewood 102 years ago a community that was thriving and just people trying to live there's also lies going back to what happened in New Orleans about the man he has a Muslim sounding name his pictures out there if you want to look and see it and you already have the talk of the people coming in the reason the border needs to be closed he came through Eagle Pass which is a lie I follow something the data said the last time that truck had been across the border was on December 16th also that was a rental truck so do we even know it's him he was from Texas actually Houston Texas and he is a US citizen as well as an army event so that could stop the talk of T. Rump Don Jr. and Marjorie Taylor as well as Fox News for making this man sound other he was a US citizen he's not the first if it was true that it was an ISIS flag on that truck that he had become radicalized and was with them it's also information saying that he acted long earlier today when I watched the press conference it said that it was two men and a woman that was looking for us so do what you do Ford has recalled I think approximately 300 trucks due to a few pump defect fixed and repair daily mm-hmm the same Ford that gave a million dollars to T. Rump's inauguration let that sink in the GOP have put out their rules for the next two years I heard a lot do about nothing basically I'm here and making it harder for you to get rid of the speaker at a house and Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank and Mr. Wonderful who I do not like is headed down to Mar-a-Lago to discuss merging with Canada Canada is not going to merge with the United States this is not the art of the deal this there is not going to be any deal candidate they don't want to be with us and the business people are just playing around emerging with them because they don't want that health they don't want their health care they don't want a lot of things that they do over there but they want to take it over and try it out so they can get that out of their mind so that's my top 11 at 11 you know my night closing is a lot shorter than my day closing that will in the creek no rise I'll see you in the other side peace
