Ah yeah, it's the final Pride Daily of 2024 as the Queer Cheer continues, later why Tom Daley's been down on all fours. First, though, let's talk about the ride-sharing service that's been launched in Pakistan for transgender people. The hope is she drives will be a safe alternative for those who are often harassed on public transport. Trans people are seen as outcasts in Pakistan, which is a mainly Muslim country. Hushbu lives there, she's transgender and tells DW it's hard. There are good and bad people, most of them are bad, and crowds people grow us or do nasty things. Someone will say why are you doing this? We say to them we're humans like you. She drives services starting off in Lahore with a view to expanding to other Pakistani cities. A number of same-sex couples have taken part in a special 100 weddings in a day celebration. It's marked the 100th birthday of Old Marloban Town Hall in London. Couples tied the knot, had a civil partnership or renewed their vows. Darryl Jackson and Graham Downey were among those making it official. They tell the BBC the venues got significance for them.
