Call, click Ranger.com, or just stop by, Ranger, for the ones who get it done. Every team, every topic, everywhere. This is believed. Now I'm just kidding. Listen, I'm not going to sit here after every loss and get worked up anymore, because we know what this team is. It's a perpetual cycle of ups and downs and the most wild rollercoaster of a team that I've ever seen. Although every time Khalil Ware made a great play today, and there was a lot of them, I just wanted to smash the flow across the face. What the hell is that guy thinking? Not playing swear earlier in the year. He's awesome. And that's basically your bright spot of the game. Outside of that, nothing. Listen, like I said, there's no point in me. It's not good for my health, I guess, to get super worked up over these terrible losses, because they're just expected at this point. You know, even this game itself is not even worth talking about, but I have this YouTube channel where people expect me to talk about this trash roster. So damn it, I'm going to do it. And it's also very hypocritical of me to call this roster trash, because I certainly was very excited in these last couple wins. But it is what it is, man. I hate when people comment like, oh, how are you so negative after a loss? It's a long season. And I'm like, it's because I do a YouTube channel. I'm not sure if you guys watching this video are familiar, but I do a YouTube channel where I react to the games. And I think it would be very boring if I came in here after every game and said, oh, it's only game 182. It's only game two of 82, three of 82, and so on. I'm going to react to the games and I'm a true fan. And I record them the second to final buzzer sounds. So obviously, I'm going to feel one emotion or another, depending how the game went. I'm here to react to the game. It doesn't mean my opinion overall on the team is changing from games game. That's not true. My opinion on the team has remained the same, which I guess it varies a lot also in terms of I could see them missing the playoffs quite frankly, and I could also see them making the NBA finals. And because I've said many times, that's what we've seen this core do. They have the widest disparity of finishes of any core I've ever seen because they got their ass kicked in the first round twice and they made the NBA finals twice. So who the hell knows what they're capable of when everything's clicking, right? Because they look really great at times and then they got games like tonight where they get absolutely blown out from start to finish and the effort looks terrible. I don't know how the front office can see an effort like they saw tonight and decide to keep this core together. I don't get it. But hey, what are you going to do? You know, we'll go through some of the notes I took today. There's not a lot just because I gave up at one point because what's the point from the jump the heat defense was absolutely terrible. You knew what type of game it was going to be where very early in the first quarter, Tyree's Halliburton shot that little ugly ass three that he'd be hitting for some reason missed it and then got an offensive rebound like 25 feet from the hoop. Nobody on Miami chased the rebound at all whatsoever as the Pacers just dominated the offensive glass all day today. I mean, today they had 13 offensive rebounds and they were talking about this stat at the end of the game. The Pacers took 96 shots. The heat took 75. Is that 21 more shots? Then the Miami heat, you can win a game like that. And the unfortunate part is the heat shot 57% in the field. You almost never lose if you shoot that high a clip from the field. Let alone get blown out start to finish. I mean, geez, you talk about a bipolar team. The heat literally never trailed in their last game versus the Pelicans. And then today they were getting blown out from the jump. So I make it make sense. It don't to me. The heat were down 16 at the half, even Eric Reid and John Crotty, you can tell they've been getting really tired of this team for a while now. They even said it themselves. The lack of energy and effort on this team is noticeable and it has to change. And they were even calling out Jimmy Butler a lot who once again was not great today. You know, I gave him some credit yesterday because they didn't necessarily need him. I thought he was active on the defensive end. But today it was basically not. I think he finished it like nine points to took like what a few shots. We'll go through the box score for everyone in a little bit. But yeah, Jimmy took six shots, played 26 minutes as there's one more than yesterday was a minus 27. So I don't know. I don't want to get on him again too much. This game either just because I kind of feel like everyone was bad for the most part outside of obviously a couple of guys which we'll get into. But anyways, in that third quarter, that was really a one chance with the heat needed to make a run. And it started with an offensive rebound for the Pacers, and then it led to a mouse turner wide open cutting layup. So I don't know what the hell the heat talked about at halftime. Clearly it was nothing. Because the the Pacers actually had three offensive rebounds in like the first two minutes of that third quarter. So the effort continued. And then there was times where Hayward Highsmith was getting cooked in the third quarter as well. We see that a lot when these the heat played these bigger teams like the Pacers, for example, who do star a six nine Pascal Siakum and damn near a seven foot miles Turner. No, obviously I love Hayward Highsmith and I love what he is as a perimeter defender. He's been a pretty reliable shooter this season as well. But he's not a power forward. I've been saying that he's great against these smaller matchups or when you put him on the other teams opposing guards because he can guard them. He can not guard power forwards. He's six five just because he's got like a six 11 wingspan does not make him a power forward. So I don't know why the hell Sposter continues to play him at that spot. I just don't get it. He's putting him in a spot to fail just like he did with Kayla Martin. Kayla Martin Hayward Highsmith. Those are good players and not power forwards because you had miles Turner scoring like Hayward Highsmith wasn't even there wasn't even guarding him because miles Turner's just so big. And then you had again you had John Crawdy saying this is why the heat need to stop switching because you got all these mismatches. And I'm like Pascal Siakum was cooking Hayward Highsmith too. That's not a switch. That's the power forward on power forward matchup. The only difference is Pascal Siakum is a real power forward and Hayward Highsmith is not so he I'm tired of that. If you want to keep starting him against smaller teams fine because there is a couple out there. We have seen this starting lineup that the heat you know is their preferred lineup I guess with Tyler Duncan Jimmy Heywood and BAM we've seen them have some success shit. I got a video on this channel called the Miami Heat I found an unstoppable lineup just talking about that team. I feel stupid in hindsight now but at the time I was hyped because this lineup was like eight in one at one point. But anyways they do are they are capable of having success against smaller teams but not a team like the magic not a team like the Pacers not against a big team like we saw tonight. So the effort was bad. I'm wondering what the hell is supposed to doing keeping these guys in there sub everyone out put five new players in. A la Greg Popovich would do you got Khashad Johnson on the bench you got Josh Christopher on the bench. Isaiah Stevens who's there but I don't think he was dressed but do something and really the only different thing we saw was uh was Khashad Johnson starting the fourth quarter. Pretty much the whole fourth quarter was hero Khashad Khalil where Terry Rosier for some reason I thought Terry was terrible even at times when he were going on a run I think they cut it to as low as 14 in the fourth quarter. You had Terry Rosier either brick a sidestep three or throw the ball out of bounds or throw it to someone and get intercepted. He sucks but anyways it was those guys and then Hamehakez and the Khalilovich kind of split minutes until like the last two minutes where Spill finally brought in Josh Christopher but hey at least Spill brought in Khashad and I thought Khashad was great. He certainly provided the most effort of anyone you've seen in the game but of course outside of him the story of the fourth quarter was Khalil Ware who finished today with a monster 25 points. Somehow I had zero rebounds I know at the time they said he had zero boards but then I feel like I saw him get a couple it didn't register it here at least not yet maybe they'll stack correct but I'm not going to get on him for the zero boards when he literally was the only one doing anything out there in his minutes. I mean he literally was a plus four the only other plus on the team was Hamehakez actually surprisingly enough but yeah Khalil Ware man he was fun to watch the 25 points came on nine of 11 shooting he was three or four from beyond the yard defensively he was very good as well only was listed okay he was listed first still in three blocks but of course he affects so much more than what's in the stat sheet I'd love seeing him on Miles Turner a little bit and Pascal Ciacom again he didn't get no boards but a lot of times that's because he was trying to block those guys on other mismatches so he was out of position on some of those rebounds but I don't feel like he was chasing bad blocks because again he did get a few and he was helping guys on the defense event who needed help that's why you know eventually spelled bright in the kolio which and they had a little bit more size and they were able to clean that up a little bit but there's really no excuse to not play bam and wear at this point and really get the the most potential out of a full-size lineup truthfully I don't see any reason you can't put Jimmy at the two and yo it's at the three play yo it's bam and wear why the hell not people you might have people say oh sponos more than than us which is a hundred percent true I am not one to doubt sposer because obviously he's watching practice I don't think sposer is a dumb ass so if he sees this team is not playing well right now he's not playing kolio where for a reason you would think but at the same time what they're doing now is certainly not working like that's a fact right they just got absolutely demolished on the offensive glass today and that's not a new thing that's a common theme this season so if you if you know what you are watching is not working then why the hell not try something else especially when that guy's playing it looks pretty damn good so I'd love to see a lineup of Tyler Jimmy yo which you know bam and wear if you don't want to get that crazy fine put haywood highsmith at the three now he doesn't have to play powerful you could go with Tyler jimmy haywood bam and wear you know and I like Duncan Robinson a lot I said in the last yesterday's post game video that I think he's highly underrated for what he does on the offense but I mean kolio where had 25 points today he's capable of scoring damn had 20 points today was hitting his mid range shot he could space the floor a little bit you know I think it could work I don't think you need a Duncan Robinson in there to make that offense function what you need is size because the NBA is not super small ball anymore anymore like it was five or six years ago more teams are big than not anyways I'm gonna run through this box core real quick then get the hell out of here because if y'all didn't want to I bet y'all didn't want to wash this game I don't know who the hell wants to wash a post game on this if y'all tuned into this shout out to y'all goats man I greatly appreciate you but Jimmy today yeah one more minute thing yesterday 26 points nine four nine points uh 26 minutes I'm sorry nine points and not good enough but no one was good enough today hayward high smith only got 18 minutes today so eventually his his minutes did get cut a little bit bam had a nice stat line today 20 points and eight boards on eight to 12 shooting uh I don't blame him for a lot of the rebounding stuff because again same as I was saying about kolio where a couple minutes ago bam's out there trying to help a bunch of other people there's only so much he can do I think he's one of the guys that did enough today Duncan Robinson hit two threes both of those from the third quarter but he only played 18 minutes himself and entirely here today 17 3 and 3 he shot 50 percent only so much he can do out there either I don't feel like he was a huge concern today either uh terrible zero the stat line looks nice 16 points five rebound seven assists shot 50 percent from the field uh I just I don't know I don't like his minutes too many of too many bad shots and when you're trying to get on a run back in the game I could live without those bad shots especially when you're playing with some other guys out there like tiley hero who we've seen go nuclear I saw a couple points where he could have lobbed to kolio where and decided to force it up into miles turner and got blocked like an idiot he did find where on a lot too I know but he forced a lot today uh but yeah kolio where was awesome 25 minutes you over today uh five assists again for him that's nice to see after having six assists the last couple games uh but eight points for him and then hame was decent last game to not score today uh allie burks only played eight minutes and shout out to kasha johnson y'all know kasha johnson is my goat nice to see him get some real run today played the entire fourth quarter 5.6 rebounds I love the effort from him hit a three that looked beautiful hopefully they can find some minutes to get him uh going forward uh and then you got two minutes of garber sign for for christopher and impella who really uh didn't have time to do anything but yeah man that's all I got to say but this video I mean uh it's unfortunate to see the heats beat up on bad teams and then get killed by teams that they're actually supposed to be close with or at least close with into standings as they also mentioned during the broadcast this is a game that can come back to haunt them come april because you're likely going to be fighting for one of those final top six spots with the anti-indian of pacers but whatever it is what it is that's the reality for this team the good news is our next game is saturday at home versus utah jazz that's a team that like the pelicans they should take care of business so if they're able to do that maybe I'll feel a little bit better once again and I'll just chuck tonight up as one of those nights where the pacers shot insane from three but whatever that's all I got to say for this video make sure to like comment and subscribe because we're less than like I think we're less than like 80 subs away from 6k which is insane so make sure y'all hit that button for me I greatly appreciate it and I'll see y'all in the next one I'm sorry I'm sorry.
