This Supreme Court is upholding a federal law that allows domestic abusers to be banned from owning a gun. The eight to one decision was handed down Friday by the High Court. Justice John Roberts said, "Since the founding, our nation's firearm laws have included provisions preventing individuals who threaten physical harm to others from misusing firearms. The Court's three liberal justices and five of the six conservative justices backed the decision, Justice Clarence Thomas, was the lone dissenting voice." Former White House Chief Medical Advisor Anthony Fauci says the Trump administration pushed misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic. In an interview yesterday, he said that he and Trump got along very well at times, but things became tense with his staff during a lockdown in 2020. Fauci said his insistence that COVID-19 was serious didn't seem to upset Trump, but Trump's staff allegedly grew furious with him and started to try to discredit everything he said.
