NBC News Radio. I'm Tammy Trujillo. The U.S. Supreme Court will issue more opinions today as it still has some major decisions to hand down before it's expected to recess at the end of the month. Among them are ruling on former President Trump's claim that he's immune from prosecution for alleged crimes committed while in office. There's a bipartisan push on in Congress to designate Russia, a state sponsor of terrorism. Lawmaker cited Russian President Vladimir Putin's recent summit in North Korea with Kim Jong Un, where he entered into a mutual defense agreement with the country amid the ongoing war against Ukraine. Less than one day after the governor of Louisiana signed a bill that mandates the display of the ten commandments in school classrooms, there's a lawsuit to strike it down. The ACLU is suing, saying that the law violates the separation of church and state and is unconstitutional. Backers though say the Bible verses have historical significance.
