NATO leaders are pledging continued support for Ukraine to the tunes of tens of billions of dollars as they kick off the Alliance's 75th anniversary summit later in Washington, D.C. Meetings come at a politically fraught time with Russia hitting Ukraine's largest children's hospital as part of a deadly barrage across the war-torn country and as President Joe Biden faces pressure to step down. Ukraine is mourning the deaths of at least 41 people in Russian missile attacks nationwide, which injured hundreds more and included a strike on a children's hospital in Kyiv. Nagumi Lem reports from Kyiv. Ukraine's largest children's hospital known for treating cancer patients. Officials here say more than 100 children were evacuated from the medical center because power, oxygen and water supplies were lost in the aftermath of the strike and many sections of the hospital were also badly damaged. At least two people were killed and 16 people injured, including seven children at this hospital. People are now trying to raise funds to repair the damages and to make sure these sick children can receive the care they need, Megumi Lem in Kyiv. U.S. and Iraqi officials have met to discuss security relations and the possible winding down of coalition forces in the country. Roughly 2,500 U.S. troops remain in Iraq to help combat the threat posed by ISIS. William Denzlo reports from Baghdad. According to a readout from the meeting, Iraq's Prime Minister and senior U.S. officials discussed procedures to end the mission of the global coalition against ISIS. Washington says that no withdrawal timeline has been set. Iraqi officials have expressed a desire to end the presence of foreign troops in the country.
