The best way to plan for a disaster is to study one in progress. Nearly 3,000 miles away, the residents of a tiny island south of the Caribbean are living a nightmare of their own. The citizens of Mansurant will never forget the day their mountain came to life. The volcano was like 15 fighter jet planes roaring into the mountain. We heard tremendous rumbling on the mountainside. I mean really loud rumbling and I said my god this is it, we're trapped at home. And then Don't stop coming out of the volcano. I start breaking the windshields and stopping people's cars. You thought well that was it. I'm ready to die, it's all over. And it was like oh my god Jesus don't let us die, Jesus don't let us die. Mansurant has already suffered one major eruption and experts fear an even bigger one is possible. This is a 3,000 foot high ticking time bomb ready to explode. Its previous rumbling served notice that the big one could hit at any moment. Volcanologists from all over the world have gathered in Mansurant to monitor this potentially deadly situation. We travel to the top of the mountain with chief scientist Simon Young. Let's keep it Caribbean for very brief moments, for a very brief moments. 25th of June 1997 there was a huge volcano on a little small island called Mansurant. Yes that displaced a lot of people. A lot of people to to brom to Leicester to the Americas across the Caribbean into the wilderness of North America. And luckily I mean that is a modern day Pompeii city type vibe we're talking and all place in the most high we didn't have that many guess transpire. We're talking very low numbers still, very low numbers. So just a bit of a recognition and a rising paradise to the people that did lose their lives and for all of the siblings and the elders who don't even have a home there anymore because there's a huge southern part of the island is an exclusion zone, not in kangwane, all they're doing is just mining the thing. So honors respect and we will never ever forget bringing it on to current times. We had that barrel. What was the name? Barrel country? Hurricane barrel. Okay again all place the most high. We had very low numbers that we're talking was it category five down to four. It was mashing up same kind of area of sorts. The leeward islands then made these way to J.A. and that was probably some big boy thing right? That didn't go on. That didn't go on like that. It wasn't as bad as what they said it was going to be. Indeed. Indeed. I got a lot of footage from down there as well. I got a lot of footage from down there when the hurricane was going on. One thing you know what bothers me with Jamaica, I'm not going to say this before we move on. This bothers me a lot. So all these news outlets were talking about Hurricane Burrell and saying you know this could come through. It could potentially cause a devastation and things like that. In all of the groups, I'm in a few groups on WhatsApp. I'm in a football arsenal group. I'm in a boxing group. I'm in a few groups and everyone was sending prayer emologies and everyone was sharing on their status to check on your people back home and all of that. Anyway in all what a video goes viral of a set of individuals that were outside in the street whining and daggering each other. Now I hate stuff like that because what it does is yeah that's the video that gets that goes viral from the situation. So we've got people over there that are really scared and worried and we've got people that are in the West that are worried about their people back home and a video like that goes viral. It just makes us look crazy man. It just makes the island look crazy like that not undertaken serious
