I had it I had a relaxing day yesterday and I started to watch Superssess. Oh come come come. Yeah man um yeah okay so so far I'm three episodes in not gonna ruin it for nobody until the full review because no one ain't gonna have watched all of that yet um very interesting it's a step in the right direction yeah most definitely so basically the story revolves around south london there is a group of unrelated people and each of them gains powers so one of them can go invisible no no no no don't drop it oh you don't want me to you don't want me to drop it okay okay so they gain powers yeah it's kind of like um fantastic four vibe i'm getting from it no i'm not getting that i'm getting like rolled with with with fantasy oh yeah of course no i'm just i'm getting like adulthood but men's have got powers you get what i'm saying over yes like i'm not i'm not dissing the production on of because i haven't finished it there's a lot of like little jewels that is dropped in there yes there's a lot of jewels that is dropped in there so we can't come in here and you see i'm saying make out like this there's a lot of jewels even though they read some questionable things that i'm like man just kill a man like that for nothing what oh i didn't let's compare it let's compare it to the smash where the season three or four now on amazon prime the boys hmm now the boys is my team you know the boys is dope still but look at the graphic content very of course the boys the but you see the boys yeah that's my 10 noble that the boy is too slow it's moving too slow this season it's moving way way too slow agreed but that is my thing no the boys now we've with this supercell i don't want to ruin it like i said but it's got some potential as you say i'm near where you are i've been come towards the end of that third episode um it's in killer interest and then everything you said about the adulthood with mixed food fantasy i get it i totally get it with me top boy meets marvel oh okay what was it another hood let's bring that mixing to it because there's some comedic elements yes right yes get oh very impressed by ghettos i did one gets gets okay so i'm the better gets is the better we've got you know gets noble yeah i know who he is but i missed him in the ting so where was he in the sum he's the um in the range yeah he's the one the top dog you know the one where they try to murder coffee in the episode too remember when he comes through and after they take them bits out the car when he comes with the two straps that's get old yeah gets gets okay he's looking i didn't even cluck you know i did not cluck that went over my head that did yeah he looks different from the grime days he's bought top a bit he's bought top a bit and that but yeah man he's acting's good it was it was um so far i'm liking it man i'm liking the direction it's going in i'm liking it is it it's a bit slow very slow there wasn't a bit slow there is a lot of things in it that i believe they could have left out as well the building the characters i think a little bit the character development isn't it they're taking a lot of time with it rather than allowing the character development to take place in multiple different episodes where you can give the base and then we jump to seasons as well episode three and you can say yeah man let's delve into that person's character a little bit more i think he's he's laying the table and the bed and everything too too long i definitely um can see the world that he's trying to build um this is not easy first of all to to produce something like that it's not easy even with the backing of netflix it's always going to be hard to get it to get it right the first time remember the boys is comic book material all that marvel stuff is comic book material this is just a an idea that rap man's yeah created he's not working from no comic material there's no source material besides what the story he has put together so i can kind of see that i was kind of hoping that those powers would have been used like in a different way like to say oh come on that they were using it as some sort of you know kind of kind of like um marvel kind of thing i thought it would have been more that what so far it's more a more realistic turn down um fantasy side of it so it's made it's it's bringing that to and i get it because if you think about it no one's necessarily outside of jimmy the film with will smith and he had the superhero but he was a superhero what was that called and he's flying around and stuff and he's a drunk i'm so hand cocked that's it hand cocked yeah yeah so it was showing like the flaws of a superhero in essence and his struggles be being a a normal person slash being a superhero i think he's gone now that sort of avenue versus the classic yo i got superpowers man a man's gonna save the whole world man no i'm gonna save the community first then i'm gonna save the world for me so far again this is just pre thoughts because we haven't finished it and like i said i'm on board with this no matter what but so far i've kind of got the feeling like it's almost like it's almost like there's a lot of there's a lot of dead ends man it's almost matter fact let me just come out and say it it's like what people from that from that type of background would do with powers i'm keeping it real manna robin jogs and when i say people from that i mean man that are like have a certain road mentality yeah yo you see if i've got any other powers i've seen in that show you think i'm worried about taking old jogs that for man i'm going straight to the vault but i'm saying like yo you like i using it to search up i'm like yo but it's at the same time though i like the direction but i'm like man they're using their powers to sell drugs and gang stuff so i'm like okay so it's gang stuff mixed with fantasy yeah yeah it's gang stuff mixed with fantasy all right but i like it though i like the direction i love seeing black british people create different type of so you know every time they're like their um eyes change and that i'm like yeah man this is the this is what we need but this is a step in the right direction anyway hunch anything away from road and bringing the fantasy element into it yeah i'm all for it man yeah for it and and you know as we as we know people listen people know and remember we always we've said multiple times like how about introducing love stories into this year and like you know black lovers and a man a black woman who love each other who want to get married and stuff and we're seeing that play out sibling beautiful that's why i'm saying these rap man has put jewels in it it has he because that there was that and then there was the one you know when the let me just say these part no woman yeah you know when the speed stack goes back home to his mom he's funny he's you know when he goes back home to his mom yeah yeah that's a heavyweight jewel you know yeah man because it's showing that the mom had him with a black man and then she's remarried yes but the new man don't really rate him that not mad that not not much raised brothers go through that same struggle you know yeah man so that was a that was a heavyweight jewel another heavyweight jewel was when the bailiffs come when the bailiffs go oh no you're ahead of me then you're ahead of me okay let me stop talking let me stop talking but rap man has put jewels into this thing so we even when the um the dad the dad saying son their man are just gonna use you to sell things i'm like there's another like demilical things there there's a lot of anger from that you know the boy who can go transparent yes yes there's a lot of anger coming from him and i'm not understanding where the anger's from well when he's grandma when he's grandma was like da da da da as i say i'm not gonna try and give too much way and he was like what do you mean i'm supposed to do xyz and as a young as a young you know pre-teen or middle teen he's obviously old and that i understand i understand the dynamic of that parent wasn't in the household so what do you mean i'm supposed to do this loud ass i get down yeah i get it i see exactly okay okay maybe this is what i'm saying i've got to sit down and really take my notes and think what yeah either way is a beautiful step in the right direction for black Britain okay that's it because there's fantasy now we've been caught and i'm telling you the truth i'm telling you the truth go back to that live the day when rap man released blue story yes i think that was the idea for this whole series you know makes sense it makes sense man by itself crazy you know go back to that live and rap man listen to that hundred percent confirmed hundred percent confirmed i'm gonna see oh there's a breeder in there from um undefeated podcast as well you know the undefeated podcast i record yeah yeah yeah yeah there's a breeder in there one of the holes it must be an actor because i thought he was just a podcast that was i do tap into that podcast from time to time i said i was happy to see a fellow podcast that has broken that yeah if it could be it could be an actor that way i don't know the actor 10 podcast that podcast it's an actor whatever it is you know it means it's a gesture of yeah man oh yes oh sorry people i just looked in the chat saying said no spoilers let's leave that that tough with them.
