Blessed to have our brother in Christ in Nate Coehoorn join us! After a standout 4 season stint as Wide Receiver with the University of Calgary Dinos that included 3 Canada West All star nods, Nate was a 1st round draft pick of the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League in 2011 and spent 6 stellar seasons with the flagship franchise highlighted by winning the 2015 Grey Cup.
Now retired and living with his family in the Medicine Hat Alberta area, we catch up with Nate on his life after football and the importance of a relationship with Jesus Christ by staying connected to family and community. Nate shares some great football stories and how it felt to hoist the Grey Cup. But we also have a candid conversation about the importance of family in Nate's faith journey and the effects of cancel culture in our society today.
