[music] Hey everybody, you're listening to the Mind Mastery Podcast, starring the Mind Master himself, Dov Baron. And your co-host, Scott Patton. And it's like in the movie posters, "The Opposite Voice" is over the opposite name. That's right, that's right. So, nothing interesting happened on my way to this recording. I have to tell you, last time something kind of wild did, and we talked about metaphors. And it's interesting because as I go through my life, I'll see things, and I'll, and I don't, I believe in omens, right? So, and I'll see things, and I'll go, "That's interesting." Right. And then what, you know, what is the story behind it, and how does it apply to me, right? And I love what you said at the end of our last show about the, you know, think of it as a classroom, and the teacher is showing you stuff, but they're not going to tell you what it is, you need to kind of figure it out. Right. And so, yeah, that's cool. Yeah, it's worth paying attention to whatever we're doing. Just make your life a classroom. Yeah, it's a cool thing to do. It is, it is. So, recently we, we, you and I, and Trevor, the tow cracker, crook, and Stefan. Stavrakis? Stavrakis, I always say his name, Ron. So, thank you, Stefan Stavrakis, and Stefanie Hartman, and Terry Halkin, and Tony Meckelley, all shared the stage at Quantum Wealth. Yeah, it was an amazing weekend. What an amazing weekend. It was absolutely fantastic. But, and what was really cool, I mean, all the speakers were fantastic, but what was really cool for me was how cool the audience was. To me too, they were just amazing. I just, they were just right in there and learning, and I mean, they're, we're all students, and we're all teachers, I think, and the audience is just amazing. Well, a friend of mine asked me, who is not here, asked me, how did it go? And I said, you know, it's very interesting for me, that several of the speakers, who are international speakers, speak all over the world of big events, said it was the best event they've been to. The very best event they've been to. They said, they don't take notes when they speak. They're busy thinking about what it is they speak about. They all took notes. They all took lots and lots of notes from each of the speakers. And they were all super impressed with the quality of the people who were attending. Yes. So, very, very cool. Yeah, absolutely. Very cool. Excited and participating. Yeah, full out, full. I mean, everyone there was playing full out there. Yeah, they were, it was very cool. And we had some, we had some really good fun. I mean, some really powerful learning, but we had some good fun. There was a little bit of healing went on. Yes. All right, everybody got a bit of a healing. So that went on. You know, it's very, you know, for me, it's important that when people learn, I think that, again, it's sort of thing I've said many times, information is worth the hold on the donut, if you don't have an application. And so, for me, it was really important that each one of the teachers got up there and delivered material that was applicable that they could use and could use right away. And everybody did that. And then if you back that up with fun, so, you know, you had people, instead, she's a couple of times there. Yeah, how long left? I know, and I don't think of myself as a comedian. Right. It was just great. There was some, I mean, there was some great, funny pieces. And otherwise, it's just a drawing lecture. Who the heck wants that? We all in there for that. So, it was really cool. I mean, I can think of some of the great one liners from different speakers who just said stuff, right? Yeah. I mean, there was one point where Damien, who was our MC, I don't know if you were there at that point, but he reintroduced me on the, on the, on the, I don't know who was on the last day, but he got up there and he's talking about things and he's saying about, he done all this official introduction of me. So, this was a personal introduction of how he knows me and how our relationship is. And he was saying about how his life has changed and how he's gone from doing what he was doing financially to where he is now, where he owns an international company. They've just brought in a big partner with a multi-million dollars and massive amount of things. And he goes, you know, and that's just one level. He goes, my life has changed in so many dramatic ways. You know, he goes, I, when I met dog, I was not in a relationship. I was in many relationships and couldn't really be in that. And then he says, and now I'm like a school boy and, you know, and he's not a kid, all right? He says, I'm like a school boy. I've met somebody really wonderful. I'm actually taking it to meet my parents and, you know, Australia. That's a big step. Big for him, believe me. It's a big step, right? Right. And he goes, I feel like a school boy. And he goes, I'm actually looking and thinking about our future together and, and how we're going to live. And then he suddenly stops. He goes, yeah, and as you probably tell her all the plans I have for her life with me. [LAUGHTER] And he just killed everyone, right? But, oh, yeah, I should mention it to her. I should let her know. He's exactly. There was so many of those great, great one-liners. And the audience had a lot of fun. Everybody, the audience also came from their heart. Like they opened their hearts up. You can really tell when you're, when you're up on stage whether everyone's totally connecting with you or not. Exactly. And they were all right there and just, and just having a great, and participating, right? Fully, fully participating. You know, all the things we did, and you've even got pictures of yourself with musical artists who came in. We had, that was something that was just absolutely amazing. And for those of you that don't know, Dov is an international recording star. And he's got his first CD out. And it's called Resonations. Dov, Barons, Resonations. Music to move your body and soul. And there's 10, 11 unbelievable songs on here. And so if you're ever, you know, standing around, Dov, and you hear him kind of saying something under his breath, he's probably just singing one of these songs. But they're all uplifting songs. And the people that put the musicians that put this together were at the event. And they opened the event and they closed the event. They did, they performed a couple of the songs at the beginning and a couple of songs at the end. And it was, it was really good. The songs are all sort of a mix of house music, chill house, and rap, and it's really cool for me. Because a lot of people came to me and said, I hate rap. And then they said, but I really like that. And I'm kind of bothered by that. And it's because it's such a positive lyric. Well, let me know you look like a rapper. Oh, yeah. You, too. I've seen the photograph break. Well, when they did the final song or the second last song or something, he ad-libbed me into it with a podcast thing. He did it. He did it. I was just like, oh, yeah, cool, right? So afterwards, we got to have, you know, I want that video, right? Yeah. So there's a picture of Scott doing his homeboy pose. Yeah, which I don't know how to do. They pose, it's what it is. It's a game-signed hand. It's absolutely hysterical. And you've never seen anybody more white in your life and less gang-y than Scott Patton. [LAUGHTER] Which is why the photographs are so great. Yeah. That's when you know Scott Patton on Facebook, go on Facebook and look for those photographs. I'm sure you'll find them. Yeah, and if you don't, just be a friend. And I'll be a friend and you'll be able to see it. You've got to see it. Yeah, I have an album that's Quantum Wealth Mastery. [LAUGHTER] It was funny. It was a great event. And, you know, I just thought it was terrific how the information that every speaker gave was such high quality. Every-- you know, my students all came out to me and said, these people have been very, very generous. This was outstanding material. Absolutely outstanding. And it was a great comradery, too. I mean, a lot of us are speakers. And you know this from other events. Sometimes that's not the case. Sometimes that's not the case. Oftentimes, it's dueling egos backstage. And of course, the audience don't know about that. But this was, you know, we all sat around together. We had dinner together. We hung out together. We were all learning from each other. It was really absolutely wonderful. Yeah, and I think that all shone through on the weekend. And one of the things, too, that I think is kind of neat, was it's a matter of just taking your steps, right? And, you know, because you've actually planned-- you've been planning this for a few years. Absolutely, right? And when things didn't seem to be exactly right, last year, you say, well, hold on, we're going to do it right. And you waited a year. And you know, the right team kind of-- till the resonance brought the right team together, I don't think there's no other way of really putting it, right? Absolutely. And-- You know, it's interesting, because I had this agenda about what the workshop was going to be. And really wanted people to make sure they got the highest quality. And as you said, I put it together. And it was supposed to happen last year. And I canceled it and pissed off a lot of people, as you can imagine. I've said a lot of people, they were not happy about it. You know, they were looking forward to it. And I said, I'm not willing to give you a second best. And everybody came up and said, work the way, work the way, work the way. Because it's about having that clarity of focus. And, you know, as we've talked about in many of these podcasts, when you have that clarity of focus and you stay absolutely clued, it may not show up when you think, probably won't. But if you hold clear, hold focus on what it is that you want, it will show up exactly, perfectly as you want, because you're being specific, right? And that's exactly what happened. And you get tests along the way, right? Cool. I mean, you could say, OK, what happened a year ago and everything else was a test. But also, this time, there were at least one or two people that could have been up on stage. And they weren't, because they weren't what it was you were looking for. Yeah, they weren't that fit for that event at that time. And, you know, there were several speakers. I mean, you know, there was a fantastic lineup, and I told you to line up, but there were several speakers who wanted to be on that platform. And there was just something about what it was they were going to be delivering that just wasn't a fit. And it was a perfect fit. It really was. It really was a perfect fit. And, like I said, people said well worth the wait. In fact, what people don't know who were there is the next year's event, 2010. So if you're actually interested in attending Quantum Wealth Mastery, you can still go to quantumwealthmastery.com. However, you should know, 2010 is already 25% sold out. Oh, wow. It's already 25% sold out. That's how impressed people were that they bought their tickets in advance and bought tickets for other people in advance so they do not miss next year's. So that's how great it was. Wow. Very cool. So that's at quantumwealthmastery.com. If you want to find out about it, go and have a look. It's very cool. Very cool. So with that, I want to ask you to give two little tips that you gave at Quantum Wealthmastery to our listener. Two little tips and two, like really one. I'll give a couple, too. All right. Do you want me to go first or you'll first? No, no. Put me on the spot here. Two little tips. I would never do that. OK, well, the first tip, I'll get three. OK, first tip is because I'm all about using the online world, the internet, to either increase your business or start a new business. So if you've got a JOB and you're looking to get out of it, easiest, really least financially oppressive way of doing it, I mean, you can get a quiz nose for a couple hundred thousand. Yeah. And quiz notes. Yeah, it's a franchise. It has a 98% success rate. And I have a buddy who bought one and went bankrupt. Oh. He says, I'm ready. He says, they got 98% success rate. I picked the 2% to blow it up, right? I think he needs some work. He dies to attend the programs. And we need to alter his wealth consciousness. That's right. That's right. He was really quite funny. So I'm all about getting out there online. And so the quick and down and dirty tip is go to www.meetscottpatent.com because I did two-- I couldn't go through the technical stuff in the class. I was really-- that was my problem. And I'm looking at, OK, I'm going to talk about this stuff. But holy smokes, how do you get 200 people podcasting in two hours? Right. So you can't do it. So all the technical stuff, I thought, what we're going to do is we're just going to do two classes over two weeks. And step by step by step so you know. So I'm going to get you all excited about what you should do. And then I'll show you how to do it, because I didn't think it was fair to tell people, here's all the examples of people that are successful and how it works and then go too bad. You don't know how to do it. So if you go to meetscottpatent.com, there's the replays of the two classes I did for the Quantum Wealth Mastery people. And they all-- they just loved it. Like I had over 60 people on each one. So I mean, that's a really good percentage. I had a number of people leave comments or email me and say, I can't make it because I have my life going on or whatever. And I said, don't worry, there's a replay. So we have almost all of them watching it, which is really cool. So that'll show you how to get a website up quickly and easily. And it also shows you how to get a podcast up quickly and easily. Yeah. So my tip is, regardless of whether you have a job, whether you have your own business or whatever, and you think, I want to do something in addition to what I'm doing that could supplement my income a few hundred bucks, maybe make a few thousand bucks, maybe become a full-time business. I would say, look at what your passions are and really focus on doing it in your passions because you're always going to be pulled towards those. And there's lots of ways to make money. There's no lack of money. I think that was something that was pretty clear from this weekend. Yeah. There's no lack of money. There's lots of money. You just kind of, like we said, last time, get into the flow, get into the right flow, and tap into it. But if you hate knitting and you can make $1,000,000 knitting, there are a lot of people that will say, yeah, I'll do that. And I'll hate it, but I'll make $1,000,000 and I'll put up with it. But I say, if you hate knitting, don't do that. Do something that you like doing. And you can make $1,000,000 doing that or whatever it is that you need to do in that. There's just no lack of it. I've actually had talking to a couple of my clients, and it's really obvious to me, they're very passionate about x, but they think they should do y. Exactly. So forget the y. Do the x. Yeah, you only hear for a couple hundred years, so you might as well make the best of it, right? Right. I only say a couple hundred because even though it's the over 100 age group is the fastest growing age group, by the time we get to 100, it probably will have pushed it to 200. Well, that's 60 years away for us. That's right. [LAUGHTER] So yeah, I wish. So my one tip is, do what you love, and the money will fall. I think that's really, really big. The second thing is, is you don't have to do it alone. There's a lot of people that are willing to stand by you, and those of you that were at Quantum Wealth, Mastering know exactly what I'm talking about. And you want to put together a team. I came from a background where I ran grocery stores, at 300 people working for me. Half of them had PMS every day of the year. And that was the guys. That was the guys. Yeah, the women were actually a lot better. And when I left that, it was like, I want to just be on my own. Thank you very much, know people. And it's taken me 10 or 15 years to get to the point where it's like, well, actually, if you surround yourself with awesome people, it's a lot of fun. So look for awesome people. And I know people whose business model is, they just look for great people. I don't care what they do or anything. It's like, we'll find something for you to do. We're looking for those great people. And they create amazing projects. Exactly. Well, the tip that I'd like to give is, I can go into so many areas of what we talked about. But you know, whatever it is that you, you know, it actually ties into what you're saying that Scott, is whatever it is that you think you've got to do to make money, I would challenge you on that and really ask you to take a look at, is that true? Do you have to do something to make money? What I mean by that is that we are socially conditioned to work to make money. And what that means is we also have an association with work, which means you get up in the morning and go do something you don't like doing. And unfortunately, we don't have much of a conditioning around do what you love and you can make a lot of money doing that. So again, coming back to what Scott said, take a look at what it is you genuinely enjoy. And I think this is one of the things I talked about, is that this may be something you don't understand, is what I call your genius blind spot. And what that means is, it's something that you take for granted. You assume, you don't even think about it, it's just you just do it and you minimize it. And so when other people say, well, that was fantastic, you often reply with, oh, it was no big deal. And that's you minimizing your genius. And that is the place actually where your real wealth is to be healthy. So I'm challenging you to look at the places that are your genius blind spots. And I'm gonna give you an exercise as a tip here that I gave at Quantum Wealth. It's actually gonna be in my new book that should be out at the end of the year, which is gonna be called Don't Read This If You Like Being Broke. And that book in there is asked you to do a survey. And this, I believe me, this is a golden, this is absolutely golden. So do a survey and what the survey is is you get five people who know you well and ask them, what do they see in you that's absolute genius that you maybe take for granted? What is it they see as brilliant? And I want you to write down absolutely everything they say, even if you don't agree with it, even if you think there's no way in the world you can make money with it, write it down. Then find five other people and you need to do this all within one week 'cause you need to stay connected to the information. And find five other people who know you but not very well, kind of vaguely know you. They've had some conversations with you and they will probably answer that question with what do you think my genius applies about, I don't know, I don't know you that well. And then you just ask them to guess. So just guess if you were to guess what mine might be and you will be blown away with the input you get. Put those two groups of data together and then look at having a discussion with a mentor or several mentors about how you can take the pattern of what they told you and turn that into a money-making thing. And I guarantee you, you will be shocked at how many things you are absolutely brilliant at that you play down while you're off going to your job for a dollar per hour amount that you may not be delighted with. So that's my big, big tip to you. - Yeah, that's an awesome one. - Yeah, so I like the one about not minimizing what people say. - Well, that's the best thing you do. - Yeah. - But that's not, you can't make money with that or yeah, everybody can do that. Those are the easy things to say. But don't do that, please don't do that, take it on. So that's what I want to say to you. We're going to challenge you as always to get outside the box, think a little bit more, stretch yourself, grow. It's been a real pleasure being here with you. I want to thank you Scott for being here with us today. - Thanks. I can't wait for your third book to come out. - Yeah. - Don't read this if you want to stay single. - Shh, it's a secret. (laughing) I just made that up, but I was thinking. - You're on the right track, so sure. (laughing) But don't read this, your ego will like it. It's actually on Amazon, and if you have read it and you're one of the, if you are the listener and you've read it, please feel free to go to Amazon and write a comment and give it, what do you give it, a score or whatever it is? - Yeah, you give it a rating, thank you. Give it a rating. - If you don't know what to write, you can just copy what I wrote and put it down again. - Exactly. Give it a rating, it's got some great ratings. In fact, Amazon tell us they can't keep up with the orders, so that's pretty fantastic. And I even heard the other day that somebody, that's the book story, selling my book already as a rare book at $80. - Whoa. - Honestly, $80. I had a phone call from somebody I know in Oregon who told me that it's in a bookstore in Oregon and it's selling for $80. So if you don't want to pay any bucks for it, go to Amazon and buy it. - Holy smokes. - Okay, so this is dog baron, dog baron.com. And there you can leave comments about this podcast. You can also go to freemindmasterypodcast.com and you can go on iTunes and subscribe and you can leave us your comments and your feedback and your questions. We're happy to deal with those and deal with the programmer. - There you go. - Talk to you next time, everybody. - Thanks, Scott. Thanks, everybody. Bye-bye.
