We'll start with Melissa. Melissa, earlier we were talking about a guy who wants a winnie to drive 40 miles to meet him for a cup of coffee. Uh, and your thoughts on that, Melissa? No, no way. Don't ever meet a guy. They come to you all the time. Thank you. That's right, thought. Or they come to you. Yeah, don't ever. Don't waste your time. Yeah, I think this guy is going to be featured in a documentary soon. Yeah, yeah, it's crazy. I mean, first of all, when you start talking to them, ask them where they live. That's the first thing to see about with distance. Yeah, that's true. I mean, Cambridge isn't far if one you're coming to meet and two it's not rush hour. Yeah, it's not horrible, but not at four o'clock in the afternoon. And plus. So let me ask you, do you have his telephone number? Is it just through Tinder? I have his number. Okay, yeah, that's good. But he talked to you for a whole week. I only give. No, no, we talked for like a month. We talked for like a month. Yeah. Yeah, two weeks off. So if he doesn't ask you out within the two weeks down, even just like block, I block people. Yeah, and I told him last week I was like, no longer interested. We were going to hang out because like this, I don't need a pen pal. And then he comes back with that. Like that's your big. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, he's, he's, you know, you're too pretty and you got to, you know, you have a great job and everything. You don't need that. I appreciate that. You welcome. Yeah, it's a dilemma. She's just, you know what? She's just too attractive. That's exactly. People are intimidated by me. It's freaking guys out. Let's go to Stacy. Stacy, go ahead. Oh, you've got an interesting read on this, Stacy. Go ahead. Good morning, everyone. Got started off saying I'm a little offended that Jojo did not call me clean today. Oh, it's off his game. Oh, he didn't go into the deal again. He was going a little quick. Yep, not a closer. All right. I got a couple points here for you. Okay, let me out. Go ahead. I'm 29. I'm single. I've been on all the apps. It's a rough, rough world out there. I feel for you because it is rough. But here's what I have found over my many dating and sorry to Billy and Justin, but men are just not as. I don't want to say smart, but men are just not as. You know, intuitive as women about thinking about the details. Sometimes they're just really oblivious. I honestly have no idea where Randall says maybe he doesn't know. Maybe he unless you have you said like that's like an hour for me in traffic. I said why responded with you want me to drive an hour in rush hour or to Cambridge for a cup of coffee. And then he said, what do you want to do? What would you like to do? And I didn't answer because I don't even know what to say because I'm so turned off. Yeah, maybe he's like, well, what would you want to do? That's his way of asking like, oh, okay, what's your better idea? I'm fine with it because I'm not going to lie. Like some men, you just really have to be so like stalled out, so explicit. They know that's too far from me in rush hour. How about we do X? My other point is I was thinking like, you know, coffee is definitely, definitely not worth driving that far, but I would flat out say that to him too. Like, look, it's a long way for me to drive to coffee. Coffee either you drive to me or let's go to dinner or let's have drinks. You know, something more casual. I personally, it's interesting to hear you guys take on this, but I personally only go out for coffee first before I go out with a value for dinner. Because my take is if they're really creepy or they're just, we're not hitting it off. It's a really easy out. It's more casual. If you're at dinner, you're ordering, you're waiting. If you're like, well, this guy is a weirdo. I want to get out of here. It's more awkward. See, I don't think it's the coffee as much as it is the guy wants Winnie to drive from Randolph. That to me is shocking. Yeah. Yeah. And I've got two thoughts. A, he either doesn't have a car or B, he's just so cheap he doesn't want to pay for the gas. No, it's just convenient for him. Exactly. Because he goes, oh, I have, I'll school at three and I have a tennis appointment. So, will you come to me and I'm like, why are we hanging out? Don't ask me to hang out today. Like, he's the one on 10th Thursday. Like, you're really busy then. Yeah. This guy's definitely in a future documentary. Who are we going to next? Laura? Yeah. Okay. Laura, what's your read? Go. Good morning. I agree with the one that will for me, Stacy. I think that, well, first of all, this guy's a wash, but in the future. If you know what you want, which is to meet for dinner, then propose it yourself. You've got a very strong personality. You're a strong woman. Say what you want. I agree, but I also, I'm not here. I had said to him last week. Like, I'm not, I'm not forcing you to hang out with me. Like, if you want to hang out cool, but I'm not going to make anybody doing anything that I'm interested in doing either. He wants you to do all the work. Yeah. Like, I have to ask you out. I have to figure out where we're going. Yeah. You know what else? You know what else? If you did go for coffee, then have you pay for it? Probably. Oh, I'll meet you there and I'll already have my cup of coffee. Oh, that was a complete deal breaker. Yeah, I'm with her. He's a wash. Yes, you have that right, he's a wash. Yeah. All right. Here's what you're going to do first. I'm going to call this Cambridge boy back and he'll say, "Hey, listen, you want to see me? You've got to calm down to ram ball." Okay? You can take me out to dinner. We can have some nice raviolis or whatever. Yeah, and then I'll decide if you deserve any dessert. You know what's funny? Everybody's making a big deal about her driving from Randolph. She flies to Fort Lauderdale three times a month. That is a different situation. That is me getting my nails done and me enjoying a vacation. Yeah. No one wants to go on 93 more than they have to. Lisa and I drive 93 South every day. Lisa, do you choose to go down 93? No, and to go to Cambridge is such a nightmare. Thank you. It's not like it's Dorchester. Right. Dorchester for me is a lot easier to get to than Cambridge. Have you ever noticed that your dating life is constantly a problem? I think I have a problem at this point. It's got to be you. Yeah, I think Taylor Swift said it best. It's me. I'm the problem. It's me. That's your theme song. Wow. We have Matt. Let's go to Matt. Good morning, Matt. Good morning, guys. How's everyone doing today? Good. What do you got, Matt? All right. So I just want to help out with this little dating thing. Now here, everyone's saying, like, drop them, get rid of them. Now me, I'm a planner to my fiance, the teacher. So I know exactly how she is when she comes home because she always wants us to rest, take a break. But me, if I'm playing and I'm talking to Whitney, like, let's just put me in that guy's shoes and Cambridge. Like, hey, look, I really enjoyed talking to you. He's the thing. I don't want you to drive up there because I hate sitting traffic. I'm always on Google Maps looking at stuff like, oh, that's terrible to me. Like, hey, there's a great exploring place in this place. Or, hey, do you like this? Let's go out there. Let's hang out there for a couple hours. Then we'll go get a cheesecake. You know, cheesecake factory. Why not? Like, come on. Yeah, Winnie definitely would have the cheesecake. This guy's not a planner, like he said. This guy's done. He's gone. Yeah, he's gone. I don't know. Well, he's a teacher. He's got to be doing some kind of planning. But it's not planning around you. No. Exactly. The issue there, Matt. Thank you for that. That was a great way to end that call. The Dakono Music and Spirits Festival returns to Centennial Park, Saturday, August 3rd, from 2 to 10 p.m. and it's free. Live music from the Warren Treaty.
