Friday, June 28: Smackdown Update
Hello everybody, this is Joseph Hasek, and welcome to the Florida Network. Welcome to SmackDown Update for Friday, June 28th. SmackDown this week comes from Madison Square Garden in New York City. Well, after the WWE Signature Shot of the Manhattan skyline, we were shown, followed by different shots of LA Night, Logan Paul, Jake Carugel, arriving at Madison Square Garden. We then went to a live shot inside MSG, and the soul got proud. Finally, the world's most famous arena, recap of that week's SmackDown, as the arrival of Jacob Plattu. Paul Himmons was waiting backstage for the arrival of the new Bad Minds, and Jacob Plattu. As the fans chanting "We want Roman" bloodline brawl with Rhodes Owen and Wharton, so was the cool one, the company we're walking down. They tried to threshold Tony Booth, Randy Wharton. Kevin Owens arriving, the trio wasted no time and feasted. Tomatanga, Tango Boa, and Tacoa, the two groups began brawling all over the ringside area. And Wharton got on a railing and leapt onto a prone Tomaboga. And Nick Aldous came out with security guards, but Randy Wharton, Kevin Owens, and Cody Rhodes beat them down. And then Patrick came with security, or police officers, frantic and hot brawl to kick off in front of a sold out MSG crown, recap of moments ago. Kayla Braxton tried to ask Nick Aldous about everything that's going down, but was snubbed by Wharton Rhodes and Owens, were led back to the vehicle and the arena. Running the back qualifier, Tiffany starting to be defeated. Candace Orie and Jade Cargo, so she'll qualify for the ladies' money in the back match, or fun triple to that match. Shannon Gennaguin was the right call backstage. Naomi Bailey talked about the former money in the back qualifier, and Patrick Davenport showed up and taunted Naomi. Mitch Green was in the office of Nick Aldous, and she asked for a match against Nia and Nia Jax. Aldous said he'll think about it as the free puff and showed up, and wanting the blood light tonight, but then pretty deadly key mode and said, "They're going to do a musical." Then Solus O'Hula was informed by Paul Heyman of Cody Rhodes, Randy Wharton, and Kevin Owens' removal from MSG. Heyman then asked where Patrick was, and Solus telling him that Patrick was too dangerous, and then we go to money in the back qualifier match between L.A. Knight. Defeaning Logan Paul and Santos Escobar. Gina Brunson from the Knicks was shown, and great ovation. Logan Paul came up with Terry's Alliburton. Then L.A. Knight, won the match, so he's going to money in the bank. Barry Corbin and Apollo Cruz were shown watching at ringside, and they left, and Escobar's lost. And although he has appeared and talked about winning the Money in the Bank, Corey Graves, we buried Cued up an emotional video tribute to Sika, the father of Roman Reigns, who passed away this week. Money in the Bank qualifier match, Naomi defeated Indi Hartwell, Claire Diamondport, because Jay Cardell came out and helped out number one, Naomi. Money in the Bank weekend, and Toronto next week was hyped up. Then, for SmackDown, we get the free-profits versus Pretty Deadly, Jay Cardell, Bianca Biller, versus Indi Hartwell, Candice LeRae, A-Town Down, defending their tag team titles up against D-Y-Y, Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Champa were interviewed, but then were attacked. By Austin Taylor, Theory, and Grayson Baller. Then, the Bloodline at Knowledgement Ceremony, to please, the Bloodline members, Silo Sokoa, Tanga Tonga, Tanga Loa, coming out, and Jacob Fatu coming out, they all acknowledged the head of the table, Silo Sokoa, except for Paul Heman, who was beat down by the Bloodline bloodline and put through an announcing table.
