Stopping Afflictions
[Music] Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we are grateful that it has pleased you to bring us together this morning. We ask that the Spirit of the Living God will take absolute control of everything we do in this place. And I ask that you give me the anointing to preach, and you give your people the anointing to receive. We'll be careful to give you praise when it's all done. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. All God's people said amen. Welcome. Welcome to our continuing revival style messages for this month. By the way, I will not wait till the end of the sermon to pray for you. As I preach, I will be praying for you this morning. And please, don't forget to say, "Man," even as we pray. Our focus for this morning is a much quoted passage of Scripture in the Lesser Prophets Department of the Old Testament. If you will, please turn with me in the book of Nehum to the first chapter. We're going to read verse 9 together. Nehum chapter 1, it's one of those passages of Scripture most people don't read. So you might have to consult your index to find out where it is in the Bible. Nehum chapter 1, what if you are using the electronic version of the Bible, it will be easier for you. Nehum chapter 1 verse 9 says, "What do ye imagine against the Lord? He will make an order end. Affliction shall not rise up the second time." I'm glad to hear your amen to that promise. Maybe to get some more people to say, "Man," I'll repeat that last passage. Affliction in your life, in your family, it shall not rise a second time in the name of Jesus. There are actually two opinions among commentators of the Bible as to what that statement actually meant. There are some that believe that this was to serve the Assyrian Empire in notice, that they will not be allowed to afflict the Israelites the second time. But the other school of thought takes the verse as meaning that God will strike the Assyrian government with just one stroke, that the stroke will be so complete, that the stroke will be so devastating that there will be no need to strike them a second time. Whichever school of thought you side with, we all know that both thoughts are possibilities that God can allow. But for someone of this morning, let's go along with the first form of interpretation, that God will restrain a second affliction from rising against his people from the hands of the Assyrian Empire. I like that one. So for you I prophesied this morning, and I told you I'll be praying for you as we go along. In your life, concerning your children, concerning your business, concerning whatever concerns you, affliction shall not rise a second time. Whatever you overcame before will never be able to raise up its ugly head against you in the name of Jesus. After one is subjected to and recovers from an affliction, listen to Bishop, the enemy will still attempt, Lord, I must say, to bring up the egg. Lord, help me this morning. After you recover and you overcome an affliction, the enemy will still try to bring up the same affliction the second time. You just finished giving testimony on Thanksgiving Day, and the next Monday the affliction rises again. And I can continue over and over and over again. Listen to me people. At other times, it is an affliction over different family members. The first son gets the affliction, overcomes it, and you rejoice who got victory over this foolishness over my son. And before everybody could say amen, it transfers to your second daughter. And it goes from one to another, from one to another. Ah, one recovers or is killed, and the same affliction is transferred to another family member. I said, it shall not be your push on. I'm enjoying your amen this morning. Please, because you said amen so beautifully, I'm going to pray for you a set of prayers. And I'm asking for not one, but three amen after each prayer. I pray for you this morning. May you never, never be subjected again to an affliction you once survived. Amen. I pray for you. May you never be called upon for a rematch. Did you hear what I said? I'm praying for you that you will never be called upon for a rematch for a war that you once won in the name of Jesus. Amen. I pray for you again. May you never be subjected to an appeal in a case you once discharged and acquitted from in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. The Lord, the Lord, the Lord, that you once put off, and you are rejoicing that this pressure is gone. May that Lord never be put back on you again in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Let me pray one more prayer for you. That affliction once settled will never become unsettled again. Amen. Amen. Why did I ask you to give me multiple amends? You hold on. It is because, Lord, I must see, we live in such a wicked world. Seriously. That man had testimony of freedom. They had testimony of victory. They had to see that you are doing better. And they will do everything within their power to revise what you thought was behind you. Don't do it though. Let me take you to Scripture. Because an incident took place in the ministry of Jesus in John chapter 11 in verse number 1. It's a story you know very well. John 11 1. This was not a parable. This was something that happened and this is something that is still happening till tomorrow. Now a certain man was sick named Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. Now we are all familiar with our story. The affliction faced by Lazarus as you all know, ended his life. It ended his life. The sickness was an affliction. And the resulting death was also an affliction. I want to pray for you again. I need three amenos. Whatever health affliction is on you right now. Aripito. Lord, put your ye and amen on the sprayer. Whatever health affliction is on you right now, by the grace of God, it will not take you out of this world. Lazarus was sicko and the end was that he died. Of course, his death was accompanied by lots of weeping, lots of sadness, lots of sorrow. In other words, the affliction won until Christ came and put an end to the victory of the affliction. He reversed it. This morning before you leave this house, and those of you who are watching us all across the world, today before this is over, I pray that you will receive a miraculous visitation. Amen. Amen. Amen. That visitation by the grace of God will reverse whatever seems to be victorious against your life. You know, many afflictions that have silenced you for days. The afflictions that have silenced you for months. The afflictions that have silenced you for years. This morning, I will receive a miraculous touch from Jesus. Amen. Amen. The areas of your life were because Lazarus died. The affliction killed them. The affliction killed them. And then death also came and swallowed him up. And for four days, he was in the grave. If you went to his house when he was sick, they would say he's in the bedroom, and you go and greet him. But now you cannot even greet him because he's dead and gone. Four days, he was in the grave. I don't know how long your affliction has silenced you, but I pray for you. Be it days, be it months, be it years. I decree that the miraculous intervention of God will visit you where you are in the name of Jesus. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Areas of your life that already killed. You know, you may be dead, but you are still walking. Areas of your life that already killed spiritually, financially, business-wise, may they receive resurrection this morning. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Look at Mary. Mary, don't you weep. Look at Martha. Martha, don't you weep. Look at the friends of the family, whipping, and crying. I pray for you. It's sorrow, the tears of those around you because of affliction. After this morning, may he be turned into joy in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Don't sit down there and look around. Concentrate. Concentrate to concentrate. It's not time to be distracted because we are doing serious business. So there was joy. There was jubilation around the family of Lazarus and among these loved ones. Everybody was happy. Lazarus is back. This is unbelievable. We have never seen it in this fashion. There was joy. There was jubilation. Ah! Joys, I'll be your person. Ah! Jubilation has been the person of your family. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. They will wake up in the morning and lads. How are you lads? That's Lazarus. Lads. If I were there, I would have asked Lazarus. Tell me, what happened? Did you see heaven? Did you see your mansion? How did you die? Were you rising in the sky? What happened? Everybody just came and sat around him. Put their arms around him. That brother is alive. That is alive. Joy and jubilation around the family of the loved ones of Lazarus. No one thought. No one thought of the possibility of that affliction rising a second time. But it did. Only that they did not carry it out. It was far from their minds. I pray for you one more time. The possibility. The possibility is there. Of a once conquered affliction rising again. It will forever become an impossibility in your life. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Whatever affliction you once came to. But God brought you through. It's unauthorized a second time. It must not rise a second time. It will not rise a second time. Because when you look at the Bible. Chapter 11 was where we read of the conquering of the affliction of Lazarus. Then the unthinkable happened in chapter 12. Of John chapter 12. Look at verse 1. Then six days Jesus before the Passover came to Bethany. Where Lazarus was which had been dead. Whom he raised from the dead. Jesus came back to town. And he said let me go check this family out. So in verse 2 people there they made him a supper. And Martha served. But Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. Then it was nine. Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there. And they came not for Jesus sake only. But that they might see Lazarus. Whom he had raised from the dead. Ah! Your life. Your family life. My life. My family life. It will be a demonstration of the mercy of God. Amen. Amen. Amen. I said people will come from the north, from the south, from the east, from the west. You know people are very curious. Let's go and see him. They didn't really raise up from the dead. They didn't really raise up from the dead. And they were there. And that was the evidence. That was the demonstration. Evidence will show you your life. Evidence will show you your life. Evidence will show you my life. In the name of Jesus Christ. May your life become an open testimony. Oh! Open testimony. Open testimony. My life shall be. Your life shall be. In the name of Jesus Christ. Many looked at him and wondered. You will be wondered. I will be wondered. Our children shall be wondered. In the name of Jesus. Ah! But look at verse 10, Jesus. Look at verse 10. But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death. Ah! Wait a minute. Jesus Christ. The man just came back from the dead. Ha! The man just won the battle over affliction of sickness and affliction of death. Wait a minute! The man just went through the pain of sickness. If he had surgery. He went through the pain of surgery. Then he died. Then he was in the grave for four days. He decayed. And his sister said he must be stinking by now until Christ came and removed the affliction. Ah! You cannot even have mercy on Lazarus and his sisters. Ah! How can you be so wicked? How can you be so bad that you want to send him back to the grave again? Ah! Ah! Ah! My brother! My sister! Ah! I pray for you! What God brought you from? No man shall put you back there. Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! God has brought us from many, many things. And there are people. I'm telling you now. There are people that are not happy. That you came out. There are people that are not happy. That you have improved. There are people that are not happy. That things are better for you. But whether they like it or not. The grave that God brought you from, you are not going back there in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. The depth. The problem. The heartache. The whipping. The crying. The surgery. The hospitalization. The depth. That God brought you from. You are not going back there. In the name of Jesus Christ. Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! God said affliction shall not rise the second time. And they said not for Lazarus. Not for Lazarus. It will rise the second time. If I will not let him be sick this time. We will assassinate him. Powers that want to assassinate you. Powers that want to assassinate your children. Powers that want to assassinate your health. Powers that want to assassinate your blessings. They shall not prosper! Let me. Let me. Let me. Let me. Ah! Let me say something. Let me say something. Let me say something. Let me say something. Ah! When you see human beings. Human beings. Human beings. Please. I am begging you. When you see human beings. One time like this. Look at him again. If it's an anima, don't worry yourself. If it's a dog. Even if it's a snake, don't look at it twice. But if his name is human. What a human man? A human woman. If they fall under the category of human beings. Look at them twice. I say look at them twice. You know why? Sometimes. No more everyday human beings will do to you what will make you think that the devil is a complete gentleman. When they finish with you. You will look at them and say ah! You are a nice man. You are a very nice man. Because this is my uncle. This is my in law. This is my co-worker. It's worse than the devil. Unfortunately, it even happens to be your own blood sister. Your own blood brother. People of your own household. And worse than the devil. I said human everyday human beings will do to you things that even witches and wizards will think twice before they do to you. And they don't have to be witches. Some people have worse than witches. Some people have worse than wizards. Some people ask me to choose between them and witches. I will choose witches. Some people have to ask me to choose between them and wizards. I will choose wizards. Lie unless you know before I let you go this day. Number one. God hates to see afflictions rise in second time. God hates it. God hates it. But man can make afflictions rise. The second time if it suits their purposes. Did you hear what I said? If it suits their purposes they will make it rise in second time. This guy just beat sickness and death. But they want death to beat him. They want to return him to the land of the grave. Where they are planning to return you to. That was not good for you. Turn to them and say I'm not going there. Say I have no good in there. Say it after me. Say where they want to return me to. And they are fighting me. To return me there. Say in the name of Jesus. Say I am not going there. Show fire. Show fire. Show fire. Show fire. God gave him a testimony and they knew it. The Jesus who gave him a testimony was there. And they say who cares. We will be happy to see the testimony of God revised. Your God giving testimony, I prophesied to you, they shall not be reversed. I want to pray that prayer again. The testimony that gave you that they are holding consultations on how they will walk it out. They are not sleeping while you are sleeping. They are not resting while you are resting. And they are saying we will reverse it. We will reverse it. We will reverse it. We will reverse it. It shall not happen. Amen. Amen. Amen. No man shall revise your testimony. No man shall revise your testimony. Turn to somebody and tell them I prophesied to you, my brother. I prophesied to you, my sister. No one. No one born of a woman. No one anywhere shall be able to revise your testimony. You have got your testimony. No one shall revise it. No one will revise it. No one may be able to revise your testimony. Shah! Fire! Hm. Hm. Hm. Hm. They will have been so happy. If the testimony did not last long, I prophesied to you. Just say I receive it three times. The last victory, and you know what it was, that God gave you. It shall last. Amen. I receive it. Amen. Amen. I receive it to you. So is good. I confuse you. Hallelujah. Say I receive it. I receive it. The last testimony that God gave gave you. As long as there is a God in heaven, it shall last and last and last and last. You receive it. I receive it. In the name of Jesus, I receive it. These people, these people, hmm. Hahaha. Ah. They had consultations on how to bring back the affliction of death upon this man. Without sickness, let's just assassinate him. Let me prophesy to someone beside you. Say I prophesy to you. Say it again. Say I prophesy to you. The Father will crush all deadly consultations about you, against you, in the name of Jesus. Human beings are human beings. They can be so wicked that they careless. This is the thing that really got me when I read this scripture. They don't care. You didn't hear what I said. You are the one that cares. You are the one that considers them. They don't care. Listen, they don't care who whips. They don't care who cries because of the affliction that they bring back the second time. They saw the pain of Mary. They saw the tears of Martha. They saw Jesus himself also whipping. How many times do you find Jesus whipping in the Bible? You can guess for whatever is in Jesus' web. The thing is, he wept. They careless. They looked at Jesus and he would whip again. He went for this ago. That one is not enough for us. We are collecting your tears in the bottle. And the bottle is not filled yet. Those who say you will whip again, they will whip the tears. They will shed the tears. They will shed the tears. They will be happy all to see tears flow again. You have cried because of this. You have cried because of that. Now they are after that one that you will cry. Let them go after it. They will never catch it. They will never catch it. They will never catch it. In the name of Jesus Christ. You know, they don't care. They just want to laugh. They want to call you. "Hi, how is it?" Another one to happen and say, "Hey, another one to happen." "Oh, sorry." Then they put down the phone and they are laughing. May their laughter be turned into tears. May their joy be turned into sorrow. In the mighty name of Jesus, a professor to you one more time. Those who want your loved ones to whip again. So they can laugh. They shall not prosper against your family. In the name of Jesus. "Ha!" You say, "My bishop, why do they want to kill him?" Honestly, give the man a chance. He beat it and you are defeated. Just take it like that. But they will never take no. They don't know how to take no for an answer. If they fail once, they try again. Why do they want to kill him? Very simple. Very simple. Do you know why they wanted to kill him? Because his life was having a positive impact on other people. No, there is no. No, there is no. They said, "Oh, no. His life is having an impact. He is better dead." The ending of his first affliction was changing and transforming lives. So they wanted their affliction back in place. It's a bishop. Where did you find that? It's right there in John chapter 12. In verse 11, look at it. Because that by reason of him, many of the Jews went away and believed on Jesus. No, there is no. No, there is no. Do you know that? Those of you who are on that warfare is because your life is impacting people. Seriously. No other reason. Your life is impacting people. I'm an African. I cannot tell you how many of our uncles, how many of our fathers, how many of our mothers, how many of our aunties have been killed because they are helping family members. They see you as the rising star in the family. Your life is impacting the young. Your life is impacting the old. Your life is impacting the poor. And they cannot stand it. You think everyone is happy? Listen to me. Think everyone is happy. Because your life is impacting other people. But I think again, you are sending children to school. And then they send you a picture of their graduation and you are happy. Even the appearance may not be happy. The appearance may not be happy. You are paying people's rent. Those who want them to become homeless, they will not be happy. All of you have an lightning of kindness. All of you have an lightning of helping people. Think again. Add prayer, add fasting to the impact you are having on people's lives. Because there are some wicked people who don't like it. They don't like it. I pray for you. I want you to respond with one amen because this one is serious. And seven fire. One amen. And seven fire. Those that want you dead. This one is serious. Only that God doesn't open our eyes to see you. Those that want you dead. Because being alive is impacting lives. A decree, a one amen. Seven fire. They shall not prosper. Fire. Fire. Fire. Fire. And this is very common in Africa. There are some people who still do that here too. But go to the Caribbean Islands. Go to Africa. West Africa especially. Travel from Nigeria. That's the headquarters. And then you travel all the way to the Republic. That's the vice president. And then you go to Togo. Togo. And then you jump from Togo. You know where you jump to. Go and check your geography. You will understand what I'm talking about. Do you know what surprises me here? Honestly. This is what surprises me most. Did you know these people were priests? These killers were not just priests. They were chief priests. They were respected religious people. I can understand why someone said that the worst warfare are often perpetrated by religious people. Give me another amen. Let me finish praying for us now. Give me another amen on seven fire. Religious people in any church that you have ever attended. Religious people in any church that were presently attending. That are secretly planning for your death. Then we go into the grave that the dog for you. Fire! Fire! Ay! Ay! I had a vision last week. I didn't have a dream. I had a vision. I was praying about this thing. About arrows of sickness and arrows of death. And all of a sudden, I saw a vision. You know how visions come? It's in a flash. But to tell you a long story, even though it's in a flash. I saw a vision. There were these people whose faces are never so dressed in black. They were surrounding an open grave. And there was someone in somebody into that grave. I didn't know who they were summoning because it's like the vision was on silent audio. But they were calling somebody into the grave. They were summoning somebody into the grave. And I said, "Ah, they want to kill this person, whoever the person is." And I looked, and I looked, and I looked. And all of a sudden, a wind, like a hurricane, came from nowhere. And blew all of them into the grave that they were calling somebody into. He blew them into the grave. Oh, ha, ha. He blew the hay. He blew them into the grave. He blew them into the grave. He blew them into the grave. He blew them into the grave. Help me high-five somebody and tell them he should blow them into the grave. It's a blow. Help me to the grave. That's what I saw. I'm not making it up. And the vision started. And I saw them being blown into the grave. But what shocked me most was that not only were they blown into the grave. The sand that they dug out of that grave, the wind was so powerful. The wind was so intense. It pushed the sand all over all of them. It pushed the sand all over all of them. Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, bitch you say I shall not die. Oh, say I say I shall not die. Say I shall not die. Say I shall leave. Say those who want me to die, they will die in my place. Come on, put your hands together and give a lot of heat. Hey, hey, hey, whoever they are. Did you hear what I said? Ha ha, whoever they are, anywhere they are. Whoever they are, wherever they are. Say with me, whoever they are. Say with me, wherever they are. Say whoever they are. Say whoever they are. You, you, ah, ah, the daughter of the Most High God. Ah, ah, you, you. The one that is holding a promise that no weapon from against you shall prosper. You, you, that the Bible says greater is he that is in you than those who are surrounding the fake grave. You, they are fighting against you. They want to put you into the grave. Come on, everybody say come on. Don't you know who I am? I'm a child of the living God. Say fire! Say fire! Say fire, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So they are ready to remove you from the register of the living. Hey, hey, hey, hey. These people are crazy, you. What is my offense? Because I'm impacting lives. What is my offense? Because I'm helping my brothers. Because I'm helping my sisters. Because I bought a car for my dad. And I gave him a driver to take care of him. He took care of me while I was growing up. Why shouldn't I take care of him in his old age? And then you are angry. Oh, God. Oh, sorry. That is not English. You are angry. You are angry with me. And you want to remove my name from the register of the living. Just like that. Why don't you go and remove your son? Why don't you go and remove your daughter? Why don't you go and remove your wife? Why don't you go and remove your husband? So you want to remove me so my husband can cry. So my wife can cry. So my children can cry. You will cry in my place. They will cry in your place. They will cry in your place in the name of Jesus. Hey, your death is not ready for death yet. Let me tell you why you are not ready for death. You see have sisters that are older than you. You see have brothers that are older than you. Why do they want to take you out before them? They are the ones that would take themselves out. Did you hear what I said? Like my vision, the grip that the dog, they will fall inside it. Let me say one more thing. And then I'll give you two or three prayer points. And then we'll go home. Do you see how blind these men were? Who wanted affliction to strike Lazarus and his family the second time? Did you see their blindness? That's the thing about these people that walk wickedness. They are so blind. And these people even though they were priests and high priests, they were so blind, they did not perceive that Jesus loved Lazarus. Right? They did not know that Jesus loved Mary and Martha. That he did not just love them in the past. He loved them in the present and he will love them forever. Can we say this? Say Jesus loves me this I know. Say Jesus loves me this I know. Say he loved me yesterday. He loves me today. He will love me tomorrow. You cannot get me. Say you cannot get me as long as Jesus loves me. I said they were blind. They were blind. They were so blind. Listen. They did not perceive that the one that raised him from the dead after being dead for four days. Even if you kill him now, he can still miss him again. Even if they kill him a thousand times. What Jesus did for you before he will do it for you again. Jesus did for me before he will do it for you again. He saved you before he will save you now. He delivered you before he will deliver you now. Shout fire! Shout fire! I prophesied to you this morning. The second affliction shall not rise against you. I prophesied to you this morning whatever they do against you shall not walk. I prophesied to you that he who loves you and your family will not allow another round of whipping and crying because of you in the name of Jesus. I prophesied to you go and live long. I said go and enjoy your testimony. This death they are planning. It is not your personal. I said this death that they are planning. It is not my personal affliction of the crafty. Consultation of the crafty shall miss their target. It shall miss their target. They will shoot their arrow and their arrow will miss their target. Repeat affliction from witchcraft. It shall not be your portion. Repeat affliction by human craft. It shall not be your portion. Repeat affliction by religious craft. It shall not be your portion. Affliction from household craft. It shall not be your portion. Shout fire! Shout fire! Shout fire! Rise open your feet and begin to bless the name of the Lord and begin to say, "Yeah!" Say, "Lord, I praise you." Say, "Lord, I worship you." Say, "Lord, I honor you." In the name of Jesus, Lord, I give you praise. Lord, I give you glory. Lord, I give you honor. Lord, I give you dominion. Lord, I give you majesty. Come on, bless him. Bless him. Bless him. Bless him. Bless him. Bless him. Bless him. Bless him for deliverance. Bless him for freedom. Bless him for victory.
