This project aims to enhance the local recreational infrastructure and is now open for public use. Sheppardon has opened a new clinic offering virtual health appointments, the first of its kind in Victoria. This service aims to improve healthcare accessibility for all residents. The GOGAR community group has received significant government funding to support its growth and activities. This recognition highlights the importance of local community initiatives. Marupna Primary School is celebrating its 150th anniversary. Events and activities are planned to mark this significant milestone in the local educational landscape. To address shortages at the Aquamoves Swim School, the Greater Sheppardon City Council is hosting a recruitment day for aspiring swim instructors. The Greater Sheppardon City Council invites community members to participate in National Tree Day celebrations on July 28, which will include native plant giveaways and a free barbecue. Information sessions are being held to prepare candidates and voters for the upcoming local government elections on October 26, following successful sessions in Maripna and Tahtura. Local community groups and not-for-profit organisations are encouraged to apply for funding as part of the Greater Sheppardon City Council's Community Grants Program.
