You're listening to a one FM podcast. I've got Marie from the Visitor's Information Center on the line. How's it going Marie? Hi Josh, she's going great. Thanks for having me there. Good, good. I just stepped into the studio. So, Joe's never done a phone interview. So I'm just helping her out. And yeah, John's away, unfortunately, today. But I hope he'll be back next week. So what's happening around the area in the visitor center? Yeah, well, we're going to let the listeners know that the speaking might be your very last chance to come into the visitor center and check out the giant T-Rex dinosaur that we have in the center. Of course, the visitor center is open every day from nine to five and T-Rex is a huge big model of a dinosaur, online to us from New Victoria. It's part of the dinos at the zoo promotion and that, of course, includes our very own cobra and fauna park in our backyard. But yeah, we've been all things dinosaurs. We've even put together a bit of a T-Rex adventure trail that visitors can pick up when they're in the center or pick it up off our website. And yeah, it gives you a few ideas of things to see and do as you follow a trail of all things prehistoric on the route out to cobra and to visit the trail they have out there as well. So last chance, get in, get your photo. You can sit on this dinosaur, it's a great photo opportunity, but she will be leaving the building on Tuesday. Yeah, up to the Jurassic Hero or something. Exactly. Yeah. But it's very cool. So get along to the visitor center. Monday. Last chance. Hey, but if you're heading out to Chatham as well, on route, you can go through Merrigan. Oh my gosh, there's a great event happening in Merrigan tomorrow between 10 and 1 in the main park, Judd Park. It's a big zorb ball fun run. So do you know about zorbing Josh? Not really. You might have to fill me in. So inflatable ball, you can actually get inside and you go for a bit of a spin. So lots of fun and laughs to be had, I'm sure, but yeah, a bit of a battle let's roll. A bit of a competition involved, but yeah, the activities in the park crew of yeah, bringing this one to Merrigan and it just, it's a free event. So it's a lot of fun to yeah, jump inside a ball and go for a roll really. Very cool. Judd Park. Merrigan? Judd Park Merrigan. Yeah. Maybe you don't have too much for breakfast on Saturday. Yeah. That sounds like fun. Yeah. And what else we got? Well, I'll tell you what, Sunday, coming up this weekend, it's one of my favorite events of the year. Of course, because local talent at its very best, golden belly concert orchestra's annual concert. And this is happening at Riverlink Westside in Maroutna from 2 to 4 p.m. And great price to get there. They start at $22 through to $33, but here they put on an amazing show. All the different instrumental sections from the orchestra will be there on stage. And they've got a bit of a theme around family. So that just sounds like it will be a lovely afternoon. Of course, each year when they do their annual concert, they also feature new works from local composers. So this time it will be some of your favorites, that a wide range of musical style being covered. So really looking forward to that happening on this coming Sunday at Riverlink Westside. And of course, you can contact the Riverlink's box office. Do your tickets there on 588-3295-1 or check out the Riverlink website you can book online. Yeah. They always put on a fantastic concert and I'm sure this year will be no exception. For sure. And then also on Sunday, a really interesting event is happening at the calls Africa House in Popper Avenue in Chippenden. It's the roots of recovery with Sophie Thompson. Now Sophie Thompson is a well-known horticulturalist and gardening celebrity. And she's being bought into the area by the Council's Resilience in Recovery team. And going to be putting on a great day's workshop, covering things like the health benefits of gardening, step-by-step guidance, how to restore your garden after flood damage, and tips and tricks for growing your own food. So it sounds like a great workshop. It is free. But bookings are required. So I guess to get on to trybooking.com, just search for roots of recovery shepherdom. And make sure you get your tickets booked in. That's from 9.15 till 4pm on Sunday. And for those who wish to travel in from Manchester and Mumbai, there's also a free bus on offer as well. Very cool. That's good to know. But yeah, great opportunity. One of Australia's best gardening experts, and you'll also get to meet of course lots of other people who are King Gardens as well. Yeah, and she's on gardening Australia, I believe, for a long time. So people probably know her from there. Yeah. But short a book out. So do make sure you get online and be able to get your tickets for that one ahead of time. Yep. And that number again is 0422171738. Is that correct? That is correct. Yep. Good thing I've got a bit of paper in front of me. Yes. But thanks, Marie. Thank you very much. You're welcome. Yeah. You all have a great weekend. You too. Take care. Enjoy the noise of weather. We're having today. Yeah. Yeah. It is nice to take some. Yep. Yep. All good. Well, thanks very much, Marie. And Jon, probably be back next week. Yeah. Okay. All the best. Take care. Bye-bye.
