Number one, the innovation trigger. Number two, the peak of inflated expectations. Number three, the trough of disillusionment. Number four, the slope of enlightenment. And number five, the plateau of productivity. I want to walk you through each phase focusing on artificial intelligence journey in digital marketing. Let's begin with the innovation trigger. This is the beginning. AI technology is introduced, sparking significant interest. Marketers are thrilled about AI's potential to revolutionize customer insights and campaign efficiency. And as Gardener describes in his publication, this phase is marked by early proof of concept stories and media interests trigger significant publicity. And that's from his article in 2023. Next, we have the peak of inflated expectations. Early publicity generates a lot of enthusiasm and often unreal unrealistic expectations. During this phase, the hype around AI surpasses its actual capabilities. Marketers expect AI to solve all the problems and deliver extraordinary results instantaneously. The technology, broad market, adaptability and relevance are clearly paying off.
