We're close. It's not done yet. And my hope is, by next Monday, we'll have a ceasefire. Negotiations have been going on for a six-week ceasefire between Israel and Hamas to allow for the release of hostages being held in Gaza by Hamas in return for Israel, releasing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. French President Emmanuel Macron said at a conference today in Paris, sending Western troops on the ground in Ukraine is not ruled out in the future. He spoke here through a translator. And we are ready and willing, as long as possible, to do whatever it means, whatever is required to take action to prevent Russia from prevailing. Macron declined to provide details about which nations were considering sending troops, saying he prefers to maintain some strategic ambiguity. Ahead of the vote, Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban asked lawmakers to vote in favor of ratifying Sweden's bid to join NATO. The vote passed with 188 votes, 4 and 6 against. The results were welcomed with a round of applause in parliament. Allban's government had submitted the protocols for approving Sweden's entry into NATO in July 2022. However, the matter had stalled in parliament over opposition by governing party lawmakers. Unanimous support among all NATO members is required to admit new countries.
