Your Needs Supplied - Morning Prayer

I love you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus, for your mercy never fails me. Thank you, Jesus. All my days have been held in your hands. From the moment that I wake up until I lay my head, and I will sing of the goodness of God. Tell them all my life you have been faithful. And all my life you have been faithful. Thank you, Jesus. And all my life you have been so, so good. With every breath that I am able, and I will sing of the goodness of God. I love your voice. I love your voice. Thank you, Jesus. 'Cause you have led me through the fire. In my darkest night, you are close, not no other. I've known you as a father. I've known you as a friend, and I will live in the goodness of God. Tell them all my life you have been faithful. And all my life you have been faithful. Thank you, Jesus. And all my life you have been so, so good. Thank you, Jesus. With every breath that I am able. And I will sing of the goodness of God. Come on and tell them your goodness is running after me. Sing it to him. Your goodness is running after. It's running after me. Your goodness is running after. It's running after me. With my life laid down, I'm surrendered now. I give you everything. Your goodness is running after. It's running after me. Tell them your goodness. Your goodness is running after. It's running after me. Your goodness is running after. It's running after me. With my life laid down, I'm surrendered now. I give you everything. Your goodness. Father God on this morning, me and Pastor Amy, we lift your precious people up before you on this morning. And we pray for them as we go into the Scriptures that the Holy Ghost would take the word of God and minister to them. Encourage them, strengthen them, answer their prayer. Give them wisdom, give them knowledge, give them understanding. Use the Scriptures to bring direction into their lives. Help them to discern the next steps they need to take. Help them to discern the season that they are in. We thank you God for hearing and answering our prayer. In the name of Jesus, somebody say amen. Glory to God, so happy to be back with you on this morning. As we continue this series, you are never alone. Come on, someone lift your hands to heaven and say, I am never alone, never never never. Type below this video. I am never alone. Glory to God. So on this morning, we are talking about your needs supplied. We are continuing from the story on Elijah yesterday because remember, we read he obeyed God and the ravens took care of him. We talk about provision from unexpected sauces. And on this morning, we are talking about your needs supplied. Amen? All right, 1 Kings 17, verse 7 through 16. And it came to pass after a while that the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. So the place God sent Elijah to drink of the brook and to wait and the ravens fed him for a season. They brought him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening. I'm telling you, that's a fast food service. They would, I'm telling you, God had his drones called the ravens, dropping food off to Elijah's prophet. But the brook dried up and when the brook dries up, you got to check with God because he's the one who sent you there. And sometimes the brook dries up as a sign and a signal to us that a season have changed. God's ready for you to shift direction and shift what you are doing. Now that's not always the case, but in some cases, like Elijah the prophet, it was time for him to receive a new direction from the Lord. Because if you were doing exactly what God told you to do and everything is drying up, we better dig demands on listening real good because God may be getting ready to give you some new direction on new instructions. Are you listening? Verse 7 says, "And it came to pass after a while that the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land." Verse 8, "And the word of the Lord came unto him saying, praise God, arise, get thee to zeraphath, which belongeth to Zion and dwell there." Behold, watch this now. Notice earlier he told him that I've commanded the ravens to feed you. And watch this again. He said, "Behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee." My God. You talk about God stretching Elijah's faith. First he's telling them I'm going to use stingy birds to take care of you and supply your need. Provision from unexpected sauces. We can almost continue that thing, but I'm talking about your need supplied this morning. And now God is telling the prophet Elijah, "I have commanded a widow woman to sustain thee." In other words, this woman's Paul, she don't have much, but I'm going to give you the miracle of being sustained. It's not always overflow saints. If you think you're always going to have overflow, that's not true, because even Jesus had to tell the apostle Peter, get your fishing line, put some bait on that hook and go down there to that river. And throw your hook in. And the first fish that comes up, take the money out of his mouth and pay my taxes in yours. Are you listening to me? So sometimes God brings us into a season where he is sustaining us. Come on somebody. It's not always surplus and overflow. I believe I'm talking to some people who are in a season where God is just sustaining you. Are you hearing me? God have mercy. It's still a miracle, because he said, "Go to Zarephite. Where is Zarephite?" That was Jezebel's hometown. The woman who wanted to kill Elijah, God is saying, "Go hang out in a hometown." Lord, help me Jesus. I mean, this Paul prophet is being stretched left, right, and center. I'm sure he dug his ass out and say, "I know I didn't hear Zarephite." Right, God? God say, "No. I'm sending you to Zarephite." You mean Jezebel's hometown? Yep. Once you go right there for, "I'm going to sustain you." I've commanded a widow woman to sustain thee there. Sometimes walking by faith is risky business. Sometimes God put us in some dilemmas to show us he is God. God is going to always keep you in a place where you have to depend on him. We'll be unto the man who don't have to depend and lean on God. Good luck with that one. But I know my Bible says trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean, not to your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths. Praise God. So God said, "Behold, I've commanded. I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee." There's that place called there and you've got to get there. When you get to Zarephite, you're going to find provision. When you do what I tell you to do, Dan, I'm going to provide. I'm going to meet your need. I'm going to do what you can't do. I'm going to blow your mind. I'm going to amaze you. He is able, Ephesians 3-20 again. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to the power that works in us. The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. The Lord help us to get to that place. But we got to obey God. Jesus said, "Fill the waterpots." And they filled him to the brim. And he said, "Now pour it out and when they pour it out, the water was turned into wine. You've got to obey. You have to follow his instructions." Now you're listening. Watch this now. So he arose and went to Zarephite. Elijah is so consistent. No wonder God took care of this prophet. He was consistent in his obedience to the Word of God. You can't just obey God when it's convenient. You got to obey him even when it inconveniences you. Because if you obey God, he is going to come through and do the supernatural and the miraculous in your life. So he arose and went to the place called Zarephite. And when he came to the gate of the city, look at God. I mean the minute the man came to the entrance of the gate of the city, the widow woman was there. You got to get to the place called their saints. The place called there is the place of obedience. The place called there is the place of you fulfilling and doing exactly what God told you to do. So he arose and went to Zarephite. And when he came to the gate of the city, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks. And when he called to her and said, "Fetch me, I pray thee a little water in a vessel that I may drink." What was he doing? He was asking this woman to make a sacrifice. Wait, only got a little. Only got enough of me and my son. You want me to do what? I mean, things are tight that there's a famine. People are dying for hungry and starvation and you want me to do what? And as she was going to fetch it, she's going to do it. Because God told him, "I have commanded this widow woman to sustain thee." And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her and said, "Bring me, I pray thee a morsel of bread in your hand." Just bring a morsel of bread is just a fragmented piece, just a small piece. Bring it for me. This woman is being challenged because things is already tight. She has a son that she has to care for. And this preacher's talking about sharing with him. Is he tripping? No, he's not tripping. He is obeying God. He's God's man. He's doing the will of God. He is obeying God. God told him, "Go to zerafat. I have commanded a widow woman to sustain thee there." And sustain. It's a miracle and sometimes some of us begin to despise. The miracle season of just being sustained. God is sustaining you to get you to overflow. I thank God for being sustained. Can someone just live for your hands to have it and say, "God, I thank you for sustaining me." There's food in my cupboard. There's stuff in the fridge to eat. My bills are being paid. I have a job. Why don't you just--I know you may not be in overflow. But why don't you just thank God for being sustained? Some people are saying, "Pass, I don't even feel." I feel like I'm being less than sustained, but at least you got something. Thank you, Jesus. Say, "Lord, I thank you for sustaining me." Come on, just thank Him. Let's get rid of ungratefulness. Come on, let's get rid of ungratefulness. Come on and say, "Thank you, Lord, for making the way." Thank you for sustaining me. It's not an overflow, but it's just enough to get me by. Thank you, Lord, for sustaining me and my family and job and ministry and friends. Thank you for sustaining us, Lord. Thank you for sustaining us. Thank you for sustaining us, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Now, watch this. Watch this. And she said, "As the Lord, thank God, liveeth, I have not a cake, but a handful of meal and a barrel, and a little oil and a cruise." And behold, I am gathering two sticks that I may go in and dress it for me and my son that we may eat it and die. I only got enough for me and my son. We're going to eat it and then we're going to die. If you only focus on just us four or no more, you will eat it and die. That would be your last meal. But she was willing to obey God and Elijah said unto her, "They're not. Go and do as thou hast said. But make me thereof a little cake." First, I almost call this message, "Little is much when God is in it. But make me there for a little cake first and bring it unto me and have to make for thee and for thy son." For thus said the Lord God of Israel. Thank you Jesus for your word. For thus said the Lord God of Israel. The barrel of meals shall not waste. Neither shall the cruise of oil fail until the day that the Lord said and reigned on the earth. He said, "Woman, I know things are tight. But you just give me a little tiny portion of what you have. God's going to blow your mind. God is going to exceed your expectation. He is going to supply your needs. He is you sustaining me, but God is getting ready to sustain all of us. Glory to God." And she went, he obeyed God. Now she got obeyed too. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah. And she and he and her house did eat many days for three and a half years. Every time she went back to the meal barrel there was more meal. Every time she went back to the cruise of oil there was more. There was more. It was an overflow, but it kept increasing. It kept multiplying. Every time she went back there was more. Glory to God. Your needs supplied. Verse 16 says, "And the barrel of meal wasted not neither did the cruise of oil fail. According to the word of the Lord which he spanked by Elijah. Your needs supplied." God surprised her. He took what little she had and he kept increasing it. He kept multiplying it. Father God, me and Pastor Amy, we join our faith right now. Which your wonderful people, that as they obey the Holy Ghost. I pray that you would sustain them. Every time they go back, let it be more. Let the supply never run out. God let, let resources come from, let, let supply. Let provision come from unexpected sources. Amazed them. Paul said, "But my God shall supply all your need." A cutting to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Thank you, God, for making a way where there seems to be no way in Jesus' name.
