Hope you had a good weekend. Hope you're listening to me right with you. Oh, sure, sure, no major news going on or anything. I saw that and I'm like, oh, here we go, here we go. So we've got so many different things to talk about concerning this. The money, the potential of Joe still being removed even after he's decided not to run. The 25th Amendment, invoking that. What does this mean for the campaign trail for Donald Trump? Does he change anything? Would you change anything on... I think you still stick to policies, you know, and the money issue with the Biden-Harris chest is like 90 million. She raises another, what, 56 overnight? Or since the announcement, I guess. So, you know, all of that. But more importantly, is it better for her to stay on the sideline until November 25th? Or is it better for her and the Democratic Party to take the seat? I mean, there's so many things that still have to happen here. Also, with so many people in the Democratic Party coming out and supporting her in endorsement city, I'm behind her, let's go. You haven't heard that from Barack? You haven't heard that from, you know, Pelosi? You haven't heard that from Schumer yet. So are they all still waiting? Well, maybe she's not. You can't stop the presses. The anointing oil is not ready to come out just yet. But is it? I mean, lots to talk about on all this. So I'm glad you came in. I want to get your perspective being a former government guy. Look, this was a backroom deal. This is why folks don't like politics. This is folks don't like Washington. It's been going on for a year. Yeah, they shoved him out. They're anointing her. Don't look, don't just because somebody's head and come on right now, they're waiting to, Barack Obama wants to be the kingmaker. I've given my formal blessing now. This is all a done deal. This is all they said. That's why they said, Joe, you're going to step aside. But we'll let you stay in office for the next six months. This was a done deal. This is all a backroom deal. I think the white board planning on this has been going on for over a year. The first sign of his cognitive decline, they said, all right, this is not going to go well. It's only going to get any worse. We know medically what's taking place here. Let's get the plan together. Here's the timeline. I think this was all strategically planned, all strategically laid out and executed, you know, exactly how they wanted to. This is not a surprise that a week ago, Joe was still in it. Remember, they didn't want to contest it primary, the higher ups of the Democratic Party. They wanted it to be Joe, and they pushed everybody aside, just like they did four years ago, like they did with Hillary Clinton. This is who are nominated. They don't want an open process. Let's talk the money situation, first of all, right now. The big chest of money is for the Biden-Harris camp, if they decide that Kamala is not the one, I think we all kind of agree that she most likely is. But let's assume that maybe they pull somebody else out and go, "You know what? We're going in this direction instead of that direction." What happens to that money? Because a lot of donors may say, "No, no, I don't want that person." Do they get their checks back? Yeah, they could. Of course, you'd look at Federal Elections Commission rules about where that money could go. But again, you donate money to a candidate. If the candidate is not there, you have to return it unless there's some sort about going to the party. But it has always been, it's either you're not writing a check to the party. Right. You're writing it to a candidate. Yeah. And that's another reason they wanted Kamala Harris because all that money's been donated. For instance, if Joe Manchin decides that he wants to make a stink about it and comes back to the Democratic Party and declares, "I'm a Democrat again" and wants to be considered in this, you know, there's some Hollywood celebrities wrote some pretty big checks that might not be on board with a Joe Manchin. That's right. And I think he's now decided he's not going to-- Look, the pressure will be to pressure everybody to greece the wills for her. Yeah. That's what's going to happen. That's exactly what's going to happen. Anybody that comes up against her at this point, you're going to have hell to pay from the Democratic Party. They're pretty much saying this. Like, look, your future in Democrat politics is over if you challenge her. I mean, that's out there. Right. Okay. All right. So she's going to have the clear path to the nomination. Let's talk about her chances against Donald Trump. All right. And some are saying that she has a better chance. Trump said, "I'll bring her on. I can beat her better than I can beat Joe." She is not the same type of Democrat that Joe Biden was. She's a bit more squatty, if you will, squaddish. She's a little more, you know, DEI lefty. You know, she was all about defund the police. She's all about, you know, Black Lives Matter. She's all about soft on crime. She's all about early release. And it's come to bite her in the butt. You know, some of these people have gone out to commit more crimes. And one guy, she got out early. I mean, he committed murder. So, you know, is she the best war horse they've got? Or is she the best one for now? Polling that was done preliminary. Trump Harris, he was beating her in those battleground states, like Nevada and Arizona. But only because she was in charge of the border. And she failed, complete disaster. So, she was still losing to Donald Trump. Now, look, they need to kind of put the polling out there, kind of see where things are now. But he was beating her before. And I don't think anything that... What has changed in the sense of the states, or what state does she bring that she wouldn't... She was already going to get California. Democrats were already going to get California. You got to start looking at states like Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania. And that's why it depends on who she gets as a vice presidential ticket. She gets the governor of Pennsylvania. Yeah, that's going to be a big push for Democrats to get Pennsylvania. But national Democrats, meaning voters, don't necessarily like a California Democrat. I mean, most of them don't, as a matter of fact. But here's some potential, you know, VP picks. You mentioned the governor from Pennsylvania. Now, again, one of them is the governor of Kentucky. He's a Democrat, even though Kentucky is a red state. It's Republican legislature. Almost everybody else in the state is wrong. But he was able to win. He had some name ID. I think his father was the governor. So, that's somebody they could pick. The governor of Michigan, I just don't know if they will do that. I think they're going to look for somebody to kind of balance the ticket as well. You know, tell me, Buttigieg, I don't see that at all. I mean, week, week, week. Right. So, I think it will be white male. I don't think they're going to go with, for instance, Governor Moore from Maryland, a man of color. I don't think Whitmer's going to get it, governor for Michigan. One name they mentioned was Senator Mark Kelly from Arizona, from her fighter pilot, NASA astronaut, David Giffords husband. They feel that kind of brings strength to the ticket about national security and in an Arizona border state. So, I mean, that's one that, from their perspective, that'd be a good pick. Yeah. Yeah. So, your Kamala Harris' campaign manager as of today, Paul, what do you tell her? What do you say to her as far as, all right, here's what we got to do. Ouch. Ouch. I know. I hate to throw you into the lions then, but there you are. Well, look, the Democrats are already talking, how ironic. Donald Trump's too old. I mean, how ironic, which I would say is he just gave an hour and a half speech close to midnight. He can stay awake, all right, calm down. He's got just as, he can take Kamala on head to head when it comes to energy. The guy is amazing. All right. People are talking about the debate. You know, will he debate Kamala Harris? Absolutely. I think he wiped the floor with her, but, you know, they're Democrats going, oh, no, she's sharp. She's going to bring it. Well, let's put personalities aside and just talk about the policies. What policy is she going to brag about? What policy in the past three and a half years is she going to take credit for? She can't do the border. Are you going to talk about grocery prices? Are you going to talk about crime? Are you going to talk about the two wars in national security? I mean, we'll go on and on and on. I mean, you know, she's the czar. She's been to the border once. Yeah, but the mayor of New York has complained about the Biden administration's disaster at the border. The governor of Colorado, I mean, they, their own Democrats have complained about what a disaster this has been at the border, and that was her one job. So if you're her campaign manager, what do you do? I think they're going to really press on to abortion. I think you're going to hear about abortion over and over and over. Okay. Okay. And they're going to talk about the Supreme Court. And I think you're going to hear a lot about that. And as far as Donald Trump's campaign manager, I mean, what does he do with Kamala? Does he, does he stay high road? Does he stay on policy, which is certainly, you know, better than what they've done for the last three and a half years? Or does he, I think he's attacking her right now pretty quick, but that's Donald Trump. So as his campaign manager, does he change at all? I think, no, I think this was still the Biden Harris. You can't just because that's right. Biden isn't on the ticket. It's still the administration. They, they own that. She owns that. She was there. And plus how long has she known about his cognitive skills? Was she part of the cover up until? Absolutely. A month ago. Well, we know she was. So that's a question that's out there. And the lack of accountability for the 13 soldiers and sailors with the failed withdrawal from against it, none there. What about the accountability for the attempted assassination of Donald Trump last week? That's under their administration. A lot of questions that could be raised and should be raised and questions asked of this administration, to which she is second in command. Yeah. Moving forward here, I would like to see some polling numbers in the next 30 days. Because, you know, we don't really know the temperature of the American people right now with this. You know, we've watched the news channels. We've talked about it with each other. But you and I are kind of closer to it in our daily lives. It's our jobs. But I'm going to be really interested to see in what the American people, specifically democratic voters, feel about where the party's taking them right now. Because is she the strongest thoroughbred in the stable? To bring out and run the race? And they're going to be watching as well, because they got to figure out where do we pull our presidential, our vice presidential nominee? I mean, if we're able to pick up Pennsylvania with that governor, what's it look like, Arizona? So they're going to be looking at this polling as well. Let's say you go with Shapiro, who's a Jewish man from Pennsylvania. What does that do for Michigan? That's basically Sharia law. Oh, yeah. You look at Michigan and the polling there, Joe Biden was losing there. A lot of it was because of the pro-homos supporters in Michigan. So I'm not sure that they come on board with you. Yeah, so that'll be a major factor. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, where's she in the soul mess? I would have thought we'd heard from her. Well, at first, she was like, this is kind of a coup. And then they got her on, but trust me, they got her back. She's now she's all on board a column here. Look, they're getting everybody, anybody that makes any sort of dissent, they're getting them on both tracks. Oh, yeah, they yanked her chain real bad. Look, they'll make us put you on weekend shifts only for the bar. Yeah, oh, yeah. No, everybody will fall in place. Look, Joe Manchin said yesterday, then this morning they're already, and he's an independent now. He's like, look, because West Virginia is so Republican. Speaking of independence, let's talk about RFK Jr. He says this is down with two men race. He doesn't think that she's a factor at all. Is he naive and blind? Well, look, he will pick up some voters that may have been voted for Joe Biden, may end up voting for him. And that'll play just like Ross Perot played a role in the election of Bill Clinton. Yeah, yeah. He could play a role here. Well, it's pedal to the medal for the Republicans, that's for sure. There's no letting up. Nice time at the convention. Obviously, the attempted assassination brought a lot of focus into Donald Trump's world. The convention was a homerun grand slam for the party and Donald Trump. But now it's kind of taking some of the steam out of that with this whole Joe Biden, Kamala Harris decision and changing it. So yeah, I think Donald Trump had a great rally over the weekend in Michigan. Fantastic turnout. And I think they got to keep pressing. They can't let up at all on this. It's a new battle. And it's been less than 24 hours. Over the next couple of weeks, people will start saying, okay, reintroduce us to Kamala Harris. Oh, this is the same Kamala Harris word salad and it was in charge of the border. So right now she's getting the 24 hour honeymoon. It's over. It's officially over now. Don't be burdened by tomorrow for what today is. Be unburdened for our yesterday because it will be tomorrow's today, tomorrow's yesterday. There are three and a half years worth of clips unburdened. People are going to start to get to watch about Kamala Harris. And they'll say, okay, wait a second. Oh, yeah. Wait a second. Oh, yeah. All right. Let's not forget her background, too. How'd she get where she is? Oh, yeah. Willy who? All right, that'll do it, Paul. Thanks, buddy. I appreciate you. Hello.
