Your Morning Ray of Sunshine by Anand Seth Kumar. You don't have to do everything yourself. We all know the story. Projected work, or planning a family trip or something else. We are convinced the only way it will get done properly is if we micromanage every last detail. Which also means stressing about everything which doesn't go according to our plan. At the end of the end ever, we are drained, haven't had any fun, haven't allowed anyone to collaborate. Yet we feel great cause I did it all. This isn't really an achievement, just an exercise in ego gratification. We have shown zero trust in co-workers or family members, no surrender, worked ourselves to the bone and not enjoyed the process. Why? Just to make ourselves feel like the doer, big boss, oof. When we will learn, life is not about control or indulging our ego, it's about enjoying what we do. Tapping the chance to connect with people and build bonds. Learning from them, cause if we think always the only one or always the best, we are total idiots. Let's get off this high horse and give people and life a chance.
