Good to see you, Eric. Oh, Eric's pregnant. Man, it's crazy. I missed you guys. I missed this little therapy session. I think, man, this is really just... For me, this is the place to be. This is where I just get to have the most fun of all, and I'm not even certain I'm paid to be here. I gotta look through the books and stuff. You know, there's some coming in, there's some coming out. I don't even know what's going on half the time. I gotta see the books. But I do know this. I missed being right here. I missed it even though we were in Minnesota there for what? Thirteen days. Driving both ways. Ooh. A drive there through Nebraska. I mean, like, let's be honest. Bloomfield beef, right? Mark Bloomfield. My man. His beef's so good even vegans love it. Mind in Nebraska. My brother. We're living together right now. We're getting our cows together. We're getting our cows lives together. Okay? Mark Wayne. You know Mark Wayne? Wayne O. Nine-one. Yeah, 91. I see you, nine-one. Wayne Box. Okay, Gus. Right? Uh, Raj. Tony. All these cats are my buddies, my brothers, from Nebraska. But that place sucks. I mean, we drove on the way back. We made a point to not go through Nebraska. We're just like, I don't know. Isn't there some other way we can go see global warming. And sure enough, we were kind of West Central Minnesota at that point. So we just said, let's go. No decks. I would act. And then we'll just kind of kitty corner through Nebraska. I like Omaha. If I'm being honest, Lincoln. Yeah, I can see how people are into that. It's not for me, because I'm a Sko Buffs. Even though I am GBR, I'm Go Big Red when it comes to golf. Oh, I am Go Big Red. So they hear me saying it. Huh? And they're like Skers. And I'm like, noo. Skos. Sko Buffs. Um, but man, it was, uh, Nebraska and Iowa on the way there. You know what? Enough about Nebraska. Let's talk about Iowa. That place sucks too. They suck too. Sucks with trees. No, I was all right. Well, the nice thing about Iowa is you can kind of get in and out of it. Nebraska's like just never ending. It's the worst, but I'm telling you, constant suck. I'm giving you a heads up, guys. South Dakota is a gem. It's a hidden little. It's a goldmine. It's got the Black Hills, right? It's got Badlands. The Badlands are unbelievable. If you go all the way to Rushmore, if you go to Sturgis and all that Deadwood, it only gets better as you go. And you guys sleep in on South Dakota. Go there, right? And you can drive 80 legally. 88, right? Saturday. I got a little 10% rule. I like to kind of hang around. Let's just go 10% over the speed limit. You know, and then if we got to pass by some guys, we'll go 90s if we have to turn it up a notch. Wife doesn't like the 90s as much. Um, Danny likes the music from the 90s. My wife doesn't like me driving in the 90s. So we, but I tell you what, my fastball tends to reach the 90s. She immediately checked into rehab, like the next day, right? Yeah. Yeah. Um, said it was going to be super fun. I wonder if it is super fun for her right now. Really? She said rehab. That would be super fun. Yeah. It's like a rehab. And I get it. But like, aren't people still going to die? Man. I can't even think of another like, what's the quickest someone's gone straight to rehab after something like that? Is there another example like in maybe an injury? You hit your head. No, I'm not sure heading to a wall. Yeah, but not that. Not let's I'm talking like, uh, they're under the influence. Oh, yeah. It was a good good 14 hours later. If that right, I mean, like, man, let me think here. Let me think. Someone like just made a bone head move in the next day. They're just boom checked into rehab. I don't know. Hit us up on the text. If you can think of any, that's, you know, the text line. It's 303 831 1340, also known as AKA the hotline. So let's heat it up. 303 831 1340. Um, I mean, dang that like the guy that was president, he's not even president anymore. I don't think or is he maybe still president. And the other guy that was running for president got shot at. What? And then the lady is like, she's in the coming up. The common. This is wild. I don't know why. I can't believe I missed that. Sports. Oh my goodness gracious. Where's Williams at? What's he doing? He's in Florida. So Florida. Yeah. Flow rider. Second base. Whose pants? J.J. Oh, do you know what I was looking to? And I'm like, uh, stood in studio. Who's out of training camp? Oh, welcome to daddy radio. Are we doing training camp at all? Is training camp going on? It's the first practice is Friday. I believe the media barbecue is today. And then they're getting acclimated Wednesday, Thursday, but Friday it officially starts. Are you going to be there at all? Uh, maybe as a fan, I don't have a credential as of right now. I don't think I know either. I'm going to get one of the work on that. Five years ago. This was guys. We haven't been to the Broncos training camp in five years. Okay. But if tonight is in fact the barbecue for the media. This is the five year anniversary of me getting my, my credential. And it's a fun story about my Broncos credential because like. Dog and Nate, um, we're like, Hey, send me a picture. You know, headshot so we can put it on your credential. So you can get in and do your radio show with Mark Jackson. Denver legend from camp and Danny Williams. Southwest Denver folk hero. Right. Okay. And I said, yeah, I'm in. I want in. I'm Jeff from St. Paul and I want to get in with these legends and folk heroes. Here's my picture. I sent it. I think I had a hat on and maybe even sunglasses. Bonehead moved there. I was in my car. I was like a praising a house and I just did a selfie and was like, Hey, you want that? Hey, God. It's nice. And, uh, you know, they were like, you can't, can't really, can't use that. Um, but they're like, don't worry. We'll take care of it. So I get my credential the day of it. I go Jeff Gersh and they go, Oh, here you go. And I look and I'm the photo. This is a great one. It's a picture of, oh, oh, allegedly a picture of a Jim Rome. Maybe you've heard of him. Oh, oh, allegedly. Oh, yeah. I have it. I should have brought it. I'll bring it tomorrow. It says Jeff Gersh and on your media credentials of Jim Rome. It's a picture. It's a headshot of Jim Rome. Doug did it. Like Doug or Nate was playing a joke. Oh, okay. Yeah. And so they were like, no, don't worry. We got it. We'll take care of it. And I think they had media from Jim Rome because he was on the, he was on the air at that time. Like when we would be done with our show, we'd bang out two hours, you know, in, you know, in record time, we would bang out two hours, you know, daily and then Jim Rome would be in there. Yeah. Jimmy would come right after us. He, he'd usually be in the bullpen warming up, doing vocals, rubber, baby, buggy bumper, oh, allegedly, arugula, arugula, allegedly, you know, he'd be doing his, yeah. And then you guys would finish up and yeah, I would come in here and say, get me Rome. Right. Bring in the righty. And so I guess I don't have any press credentials this year with Jim Rome's photo on it. I guess I'll just have to use the one five years ago because I'm going now thing. It's still good. That's fine. No, you don't, you don't, you're not pushing any buttons or working. Do we got any guys working it? Got to be throw tires out there. Yeah. I think I would think them in Sandy Sandy's out there stack of paper blown around in the wind. Yeah. And live shows out there, but, but they are how widely not get out there. Well, why at least got a show during camp? That's the thing. All the practices start at 10 a.m. So when our show starts, right. So I was talking to Gil yesterday, I think Saturday or Sunday, I'm going to try and get out there for a couple of those, but it's, yeah, it's right. And it's not convenient because we're doing the show while they're practicing. Interesting. Um, our, our media dudes allowed right now, like is Dempsey allowed in there right now or do they have to leave when practice starts? Oh, I, I would think they can stay. They can stay. Yeah. Cause member last year, everyone had to be either up on the hill or across the street. They loosen those policies so they can, they can get closer now. Across the street. Yeah. Right. The zone or the sports zone or whatever they're calling it last year. Wild times, but Peyton's loosened his policies. Is that a good thing? We think that's a good thing. I think it's good. I think that was pretty ridiculous and, and unnecessary last year. Oh, yeah. All the, all the crap he was trying to pull. I really did like being there though. That was fun. It was nice to be there. That's when I was like, Hey, Brett Kane, you're taller than I thought. And I was like, Hey, Vic, you're exactly the height I thought you were emoj, God, those guys are great. Oh, it's just cool to be out there hobnobbing with these cats because I don't, you know, like I was saying, I'm coming. It's God. I'm not, you know, I'm not out here for money. I'm not out here for fame. And if I, if those are what I'm out here, I'm not getting them, not getting the fame more than money. So what am I doing here? I don't even know. But I'm having the time of my freaking life. And it's, it's nice to not be interrupted by Danny, you know, being, and then, and then he'll interrupt and then he'll look at his phone. Who was telling me that? Oh, Noah, my guy, Noah from the All Star Blues. He's like listener. Yeah. Yeah. He's dad. One of my best athletes on this All Star squad. Great dude. Great dad. He's like me. He's a blue collar guy, you know, hard worker, work hard, play hard, laugh hard, have some fun. It's your home voice. It's next to you and just stares at his phone while you're talking. And I was like, yeah, every day from 10 to 11, like it's a thing. But I'm like, but that's his laptop, what, you know, what people don't understand is that's his laptop. But as quickly as I could be trying to look something up on my phone, God, it's so easy for me to just like go look at Facebook. See how he likes I got on the post of me and my wife kissing years ago. Oh, there's Twitter again, that's what Elon, that's crazy about what happened to your son, daughter, man. And then next, you know, I'm like, like, so I don't know how Williams can do it, frankly. And maybe that's, you know, why he's just a folk hero. No legends. Not quite a legend. I'm going to take that. Who all came in? Did Kyle Barry get in? Yeah. We actually got a co-host every day. I think we took one or two days off. No, no one showed up or no, like, like he comes show is completely off. No call no show, right. And then every other day he had a co-host and it was either Kyle Barry or, or Alo Alo, the bird. So why is his why his insta? He's big on it. Why is his insta? Got that word bird in it, you know, I don't know, man, like bird three or three or something. Yeah. Uh, and then Friday everyone came in. It was a, it was the whole squad and that was a wild show. Really? We got a little white, weird champagne, bubbly, and the front thing that snuggled me. Really? Well, that's good. I don't need you guys. I can do it all for myself. I can do 20 minutes segments, you know, I'm always supposed to do 16. I can do whatever. I can tell you what to this Teddy swims. This guy is on my mind. His music is voluptuous. You heard this 911 song hit me with this 911. You heard this thing? Is it easy to find? Is it harder? It's fine. It's getting me all fired up, but we, uh, I mean, when you're on the road, you know, it's like the kids get to pick music for a little bit and then mom and mom picks a little and then dad comes up and he says, give me some of that. Give me, give me swims. Give me some of that Teddy swims, man. He's got. Yeah. You can pump this a little, my, yeah. This guy's got funk with passion. He's got soul. Gonna walk fast with passion. Me too. Hashtag. He's got like gospel rhythm blues. You don't got to call 911 guys, but if you want to call me, hit me up 30, three, eight, three, one, 13, four. This is the smile high morning show. It's the one and only I'm coach G from the 303 representing the LLC with my guy back there, AB. We're going to do this to this. We'll be right back on their son. Come and have phones up, louder, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. Uh, definitely not a dream man, you know, Jerry is out there saying like, Hey, it's getting crazy out there in politics. Yo, man, it's getting wild out there. I think it's about to get crazier, but we already knew that. We talked about it. We don't shy away from it. I think everyone should get to have an opinion because like it's America and all that. And then here's the school and mine's cool. And here's an opinion I got for you. I can't believe I haven't played EA sports college football 25 yet. What am I doing with my life? Garbage. Stupid idiot. Have you played the epic? No. AB. What are we doing? You want to come over and party? Yeah. You're like, you get it may do back in the day. It'd be what? Tote, you know, tortilla chips and salsa would be pizza rolls, Kool-Aid. Okay. Although we're moving my kids into the crystal light generation. I think crystal light, if I'm being honest, has drugs in it. Like chapstick has drugs in it, you know, nothing crazy, but just a little something to keep you coming back, right? Right. Am I crazy? The PHT that is made by crystal light, it, like if you make a picture of it, right? And you just pour it a thing. I could drink that whole thing in one day and it's not like I want to or have to or need to. It's that I can't stop. Like my lips are like, I'm kind of drying out. Have you seen these cats that can go through a whole thing of chapstick? But I don't want your life in a day. No, but like I can't go through a thing of chapstick without losing it. No, like go through a thing of chapstick and not lose it. Can you go? I do it. Do you? Absolutely. Incredible. I don't even know how I could do it because I would lose it. Chapsticks. It's hard to lose. No, it's easy to lose it. It should be in a triangle. It doesn't fall out of your pocket easily. It should be triangular shape, not round and then it can't roll into stuff. You can get the tube, little little scrum, little Carmex screw out that red tube back in the day, man. We've been drinking, drinking that Kool-Aid, just getting like red lips, hanging out late playing, but then college football, like the game went on forever. Like then next thing, you know, I'm like in college, right? And now we're ordering pizzas and we're staying up late and, you know, having a little wacky tobacco, right? And then I moved to Denver and now I'm playing online, like Wi-Fi with my buddy Carlos and Erickson, you know, Iowa and Carlos is in Wisconsin and my little brother joined the league. I was down there in Tampa and like, and then it just poof was gone. Man, I heard it's pretty sweet. It looks pretty sweet. It looks so sweet. I don't know. I don't have time anymore. I got kids and a wife and a top 12 radio showing my time slot in this market on Tuesdays. So what am I supposed to do? I don't know. Make some time. Find some time on the weekend or getting into it. Carlos has already set up the text string, okay? And what I think you should know is that Carlos is a diehard legend of dynasties. And so this dynasty is happening. We're doing another online dynasty. I think we're going 10 man. The question they have put forth is are we going to go 10 teams in one conference, right? Then you're playing a lot of user view user games. That's fun. Are we going to do two conferences with five teams each? We'll say big 10 and SEC, right? Or do we want to do just like the 10 10 teams can pick out of any of the four majors or is there five? There's only four now, right? There's no power five anymore power or pack 12 you fool. How could you? Oh, man. I don't know. What do you think that everyone's kind of leaning towards the two teams and or two conferences with five teams each. There's 10. There's 10 players in this dynasty working, right? It's video games. I like it. Or do you got 10 and one or do you just go like three, three and four? I think that just split it up evenly. He's down. Just trying to figure out a way I can get the buffs. I want to be see you, you know, I think they're making rules to like, and you can't be Georgia or Michigan because they're the best and you can't be the best. I'm all right with that rule, I guess, but I don't know why. I think less rules is better than more. I'm just trying to find a way to get the big 12 as part of this thing is the big 12 is kind of sweet in the break. I was checking over that see you buffs football schedule and it's like, I love it more so than than what we had in years past and I don't really. I mean, California's got athletes, but they also got 40 million people is to be one football. So yeah, California's got athletes, but like the place where they say football, right? They don't even say the T they give a football football football. That is where some football that is where the Colorado buffals are going to start playing their football games. And Baylor, I mean, come on, you know, even Florida, you know, Kansas, like the Midwest, I am so happy to be out of the West coast. Those cats think they're think they're, you know, feces smells like petunias. I mean, these cats are unbelievable what they do on the West coast, how cool they think they are. But the cool thing is we got Utah out of the deal. Yeah. And we got the Arizona's, which for me, Arizona, Arizona state are not West coast. They're like desert border states. It's a border of the Southern country below us. They're not there and plus Arizona doesn't change time zones. So you can't even say that they're Pacific times or wait, are they always Pacific or are they always mountain? No, that they they don't like you said they don't have daylight savings. Yeah. So right now they're our behind us. But in the winter season from like what October to March, they're in the same time zone as us. Interesting. All right. You think you could like put that on the ballot? You think like polis could just roll up and be like, Hey guys, got this cray cray idea. Milling over me and the first gentlemen we're talking and we think that we're going to get rid of daylight savings and get rid of it all together and be like Arizona and Indiana, I think. Right. Yeah. There's a couple like like Kentucky, Tennessee. They got to be right on that central and East Eastern border. Oh man. Time zone. Go. I don't want to go back to Nebraska too much more other than on September 7th, it don't be a beat down. Take that for data. All right. We're coming. But take that for data. We just couldn't wait when we were driving into Nebraska in that minivan to get to the time zone, get back to mountain time zone. We were just, Oh man, it seemed like it took forever. It's way over there. But now, okay, I mean, okay, is this a better football conference than the pack 12? This SEC, right? Or I'm sorry, this, this big 12 right here. The pack 12 of last year, I would say no, but overall, yes, one of the best teams in the pack 12 last year was Utah, the last three years in football. They were good. They were definitely weren't on the level of, of a Washington last year or Oregon or you know, all USC kind of USA. There you go. Yeah. I feel like last year was a down year for Utah compared to what they normally are with, with winning him. Bonix smoked him down there at Rice Eckles. Right. Remember that game? Right. Yeah. But Utah's definitely got to be one of the strongest teams in the conference. Top three, top five, definitely top five. And so last year, see you played of those teams we just mentioned, right? They didn't play Washington, but they did play Oregon, USC and Utah. Yep. They play Utah every year or they did play. Yeah. That was like their final. Yeah. They're Rocky Mountain rivalry. Day after Thanksgiving. Um, yeah, which are placed in Nebraska games. That was the legendary Nebraska game, Dave, was day after Thanksgiving. Yeah, the Black Friday. Exactly. And now you get in Nebraska in week two, Kansas, Kansas state central, Florida, Baylor. Okay. I'm, you know, so I got to think Oklahoma state, Kansas state are the cream of the crop right now in that conference, right? And then maybe Texas tech on certain years and Utah, I mean, Utah, sweet, dude, I, who's that head coach? Winning him. Yeah, Kyle, winning him, winning him, been there a long time. He took over right after urban Meyer left to Florida. Get out of here. He was the one right after. Yeah. And so right after Alex Smith and yeah. Wow. Been there a long time and tough, tough hard nose coach seems like that's the team that they always have physical. So if you're coach, you got to be thinking that this is a West Virginia TCU. I don't know, buddy, since a natty and he was Houston and he got on a BYU. Yeah, there's no cupcakes really. I don't see one cupcake, Iowa state and Kansas are tough. You see F at, you know, that central Florida has the largest enrollment of any public school in the United States. I think it's a huge school. Yeah. Jeez. Don't take anybody. So even in, um, even in football, it's looking tough and it's going to be even tougher in basketball once basketball rolls around too. And as you look at the non conference schedule, that's where you got to get some dubs early, right? You got to get that North Dakota state. And guess what? That's going to look like nothing. You're expected to win that. You know what I mean? If that game is even somewhat close, it's going to be worse than it is better. Um, you got to win that thing by double digits, right? Yeah, you would think so. One of the best FCS teams though, you're in, you're out. I think Dion said a week or two ago, like, I'm mad at Rick George for putting that one on the schedule because they're good. Yeah, they are good. No, that's, that's a great point there. I wanted an easy one to start. Well, and then you go back to back rivalries just like we had last year. And so, man, if you can't come out of that first three game stretch with some W's because this ain't a video game. This is real life, you know, you got to get those three W's because once conference there's plus these are stadiums you, yes, yes, this is, and these are stadiums you haven't been to. I mean, minus Arizona, Arizona state and Utah, these are, these are, you know, teams you're not familiar with, you know, maybe last year, you know, or the year before they said, well, the O linemen remembered playing against this guy on the D line, but to switch conferences is a really, really big deal that has going to have a ton of unintended consequences that I'm not sure will even realize until while we're in the season for the buffs, as well as beyond the season, just like you just don't know, you know, and maybe, maybe some of these guys that transferred were like, well, I don't want to play in the big 12. I want to play on the Cali schools or I want to play in the, I mean, we sure know a lot of guys transferred out because Coach Prand told them that they, we don't have those guys who are mid. Those guys are mid. Those guys ask them. That's what, that's what should do or said, right? I don't remember him. He must have been pretty mid. And then of course, there's that part. There's the circus, right? Just like with politics, sports has their circus too, and man, no one has a bigger tent over their circus right now than what's going on in Boulder, Colorado. Man. I mean, I guess Alabama's got a big one because Nick's not there, you know, but they don't put themselves at harm's risk like, like the Buff said, yeah, no, they don't. Yeah. They don't play chicken with you, you know, and see who's going to flinch, tee it up for Paul Finebaum to, uh, to put you in a body bag. Right. And, you know, Paul Finebaum, if he's smart and he is, he's very smart. Just like Dan Henning is very smart. If you want clicks, you know where to go. You know where to find the clicks. You just got to post the story about how coach Prime ain't it. Coach Prime ain't this and coaches son ain't nothing and they just do that, you know, as it sweeps month, is that why they're talking about coach prime or they're trying to get good ratings, you know, cause the other shows are beating them. Is that why they're trying to beat down coach prime? Cause he moves the needle. He moves the needle and deep down. Can you think like we've had Deon Sanders as our head coach in Boulder, Colorado for well over a year now. I think it happened in December, 2022, right? So what's the worst thing he's said or done since he's been here? Honestly, the worst thing probably the way he handled that kid transferring out on Twitter, the one there. Okay. Um, I mean, he's kind of belittled a reporter here and there, but I don't share that as bad. I mean, the college coaches do that, but these reporters come out acting, you know, I mean, these reporters, they don't believe, first of all, they're not journalists. They're activists. Most reporters are not journalists any longer. Does this make sense? What I'm saying? They're not interested in the practice of journalism. They're interested in activism. They want to fight for their side, whatever their side is. And so their questions are super biased and that's kind of like the exact opposite of what journalism is supposed to be. And that's why it's, you know, so few and far between, but okay, I'll take that. So he, so the kid transferred and the kid on the way out had some things to say first. Right? Yeah, I kind of went to like 24 seven sports or something like and said, like, well, he treated me wrong. He never gave me a shot and he, he bent me and, you know, and that's, then they fired back, right? They didn't send him packing with a couple of birds, giving him double middle fingers, did they? No. No. So, okay, but you're right. And then tactically the worst move he made all year was getting rid of sure a demoting shot. Yeah. Just, just, I can go on 15 minutes by that was ridiculous. That was dumb. But what's he done that's so bad, honestly, like, what's he really done that's so bad? The good outweighs the bad by a mile by what he's done for this university and the football team and just the notoriety of the school overall. And he brings, you know, the kids in and he's, and he's got him learning life lessons. I mean, all coaches do that, but like, and sure, he's got his son, you know, Ducky or whatever his little is Bucky's, you know, film and everything and everything. Sure. I get it. So it's like a reality TV show. And at a certain point, you got to believe the guy. You've got to believe that's who he is when he's given you that performance. Let's see, 14, 18 months, I mean, 19 months he's been acting this way. Yeah. This is who he is. This is not a show. This is the fact that we can film this is brilliant. I mean, it's like trying to get a Bryson to Shambo to doing a Netflix thing on golf. He's an interesting guy. And I don't like him because he did the live thing, but I do like him because he's interesting. And he says things that make my mind move, like just wiggle around and do stuff. So scientist, the mad scientist, but I mean, and he says little thing about this, that and you're thinking, I'm like, damn, you know what? This is who he is, you know, let's not, let's not hack like he's putting on a show and then he goes home. I bet when coach Brian puts on when he gets home and he puts on his house slippers, he's still just like, he only, he only go at me. You cook all that bull junk tonight. Yeah. Oh, I'm bull junk. I sifted through that bull junk. I got time today. Oh, I got time today. And he does. He gives time to the people. He gives time to the kids. He gives time. He brings the, you know, the women up and he says, boy, you don't treat any women, any of these are any women on this campus bat and if I hear about it, you're out of here. He's trying to make men out of these boys and Paul Feynbaum's trying to get clicks. Whatever Paul can't even throw a football. You're talking to a guy who played baseball and football and he's now a top coach and he's just a icon. Last time I checked, buffs don't play in the SEC either. So yeah, stay in your lane. Don't come into our lane. We don't want you over here. Go talk your old football. I'm surprised you haven't heard, you haven't heard yet? About the bird? The bird's the word. This is my kid's favorite. When Peter Griffin does it, the Peter Griffin version. Yeah, that's good. I'm surprised you haven't heard by that. All right, let's go to break. We'll take you to break with the bird. We'll be right back with the double bird for you, Paul Feynbaum. That's the name, man. [MUSIC PLAYING] Let me talk to you. Let me talk to you. Let me break. Let me talk to you, Paul. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] Oh, man. You know, we were talking about Central Florida earlier. And they're my big rivals back when I was younger. I lived in Tampa, Florida for two years, right when this song came out. And that's a good spot to live when this song comes out. It's Tampa. Man, there's transplants in Tampa, like there's transplants in Denver. And it's the golf side. So you get the Midwest transplants. You get Pennsylvania West. You don't get the coasties. You don't get the-- I fit fast. And they're like, the New Yorka, New Yorka, New Yorka. They're always on the Atlantic, which is great. Stay over there. But Tampa, Florida, tailgating, USF bulls. I taught all those boys how to tailgate. Yo, I could be in the middle of the parking lot at Raymond James Stadium and find the satellite. I would just look up to the sky and start moving the dish. I would put a dish on a tripod and then spin it and find the satellite. And I'd be looking at the TV, and it would be like, dude, dude. And then all of a sudden, it would be like, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do. And I'd just lock it right there. And we didn't get a game on? It was like back in the day. Oh, yeah. It was like, oh, oh, eight, oh, nine. Yeah. Rolling in there with like a little direct TV buy. People are like, what is this? Who are you? Like, I'm Coach Gersh, and I fixed the speakers at Southeast Denver Baseball. So yeah, you did. Pretty handy with the steel, you know what? Maybe you've seen the Colorado youth football invitational. See why I thought. Yeah, we're only putting up five games a day on the YouTube. You know, thousands of viewers each, thousands of thousands of viewers. But man, that's probably already getting to work on next years. That one brings me back. Yeah. Yeah. What do you think? Anything we should add? I mean, this year was sweet. It was pretty sweet. The coaches' challenges were so sick this year. And we had all the angles. Of course, we got Mark Jackson. Nick Archiletta did amazing. He stepped in for a game and called for me. I had to get off that scaffolding, bro. I was like, oh, cruise ship. I hear you. It was weird. Oh, man, but I think they enjoyed it up there since we've been talking bolder. That youth football invitational was up in Boulder. You did you like the Boulder set up more? Or did you like the Broncos one more, just? I like the Boulder set up more. Yeah, why? What I didn't have to worry about my life being ended during my when I was up there. You had that lackful step. And then, you know, that would be it for me. Didn't have to worry about that as much. Happy didn't die that day. Well, me too, I thought I might. Well, and then this year, Archiletta comes in. He's a police officer on the beat, right? On the streets, up in Commerce City. I said city. Not shut your mouth. Commerce City up there. And he comes in and he goes, oh, man, they called me at two in the morning. This is at like 6.30 in the morning. We're setting up a camera. And he's like, we had a homicide. And they wanted me to come in. And I was like, bro, if you would have called me in the morning and told me that you're skipping the youth football and the tational for some off a side. What's happening all the time in Commerce City? Yeah, this is a one day a year thing. And you know what, Archiletta? Damn it. You made the right call. You made the right choice. He told him no. He said, I got to go to the youth football and the tation on calling football games with Mark Jackson leader. Jeez. Yeah. So he's on call, huh? Like any 24 hours a day that tell him. That might have been his weekend for being the officer on duty on call per se. I don't know the ins and outs of it. But I know I-- He's been like, he's traveling a lot, going to all these stadiums and posting pics. He's like, dude, he's been a police officer. I was going to say cop, and I'm not saying it as an offensive term by any means. But he's been a police officer for almost 20 years, I think. Oh, boy. He got in young. He got in young. He's almost like pennies. He's like on his way out. Yeah. He's about to get his retirement. 20 years. Hit that pension. He would have done it right away. Right as he turned 21, basically. I mean, if he's 38 right now, and he's started when he was 18-- Oh, so yeah, I read out of high school then. First say, like, I don't know. You tell me. Texas now, Archie. Yeah. You got a whole segment there listening. He's listening. Oh, that's my guy. That's my man. My man. All right, anyway, where were we? Boulder, Colorado is sweet. Denver Broncos Stadium was sweet. We don't-- we're not allowed. We're not going to the Denver Broncos Stadium this year, guys. And guess who else isn't going to be there? Not the stadium, but the training camp. Justin Simmons, what's the deal? He don't got a squad yet? Still unsigned. Still unsigned, some team is going to get a huge bargain, and at a very good price, and a heck of a football player. Yeah. So he's a good football player. I would say he's a very good football player. So he's just asking for too much money, then, because it's either football or money, right? I mean, like-- or you're old. Wow, old is he. 31? 31. Still got a lot left. I've got three to five. It's-- I think it's the safety position. And we're seeing a lot of these safeties getting signed, like, way late. I think Jamal Adams just signed last week. Eddie Jackson, I believe, just signed over the weekend. So he'll get a deal done, hopefully sooner rather than later. It's worth just about a training camp, and he's still unsigned. It's not one of those where they're seeing if a guy gets injured, or is it one of those where they're-- I mean, he's a starter. He's almost-- he's pretty much a pro-ball player. He was like all pro-- Second team all-pro, wasn't he? Yeah. Which might be a little high. I don't know, is that high or no? Is he that good? The weird thing is, it was like, the team never was doing much. I mean, he's been here seven years. He came right after they won that Super Bowl, right? The year after. Yeah, for seven years, they hadn't sniffed a playoffs. They sniffed it, I guess, maybe, once or twice. No bad for the guy. Yeah, but never been part of a playoff team. Right. And he did all he could do. I was going to say, it's hard in a 22-man game or a 53-man game if you think about it. To-- you know, I was telling my guys at baseball. I'm like, if this was hoops, and we had three good guys, and they had three good guys, they could beat us. I'm like, but we got-- you know, this is baseball. Everyone's going to have six or seven good guys. We're about to play in the region this weekend coming up. Let's go. Yeah, it's going to be sick. Since 2016, when he came into the league, nobody has more interceptions than Justin Simmons. OK. And he's picked off my homes more than anybody else. I think by a big margin, too. Interesting. Interesting. Yeah, whoever picks him up is going to be happy in a plug-and-play safety right there. He could pretty much just go. He don't need to learn your schemes and all that. He's a Boston college kid. He's smart, right? He's a bright dude. Yeah. And he's a good dude. He's got the-- he'll start a charity. Whatever city he goes to, he'll take your zip code, your area code. Yeah, we're going with the A13 charity man for Tampa. Let's go. Yeah, I have a character of a guy as you'll find in the NFL. So who's the kind of teams in the NFL that win these deals? You know what I mean? Like, sometimes a team of Cleveland Browns would be like, we're going to take them, and then it just doesn't work out. But like, if the Pittsburgh Steelers came in and just grabbed Justin Simmons, I'd be like, damn it. That's the exact team that would do that. You know? It's like when the Yankees or the Dodgers get a guy-- No Ravens. Yeah. Who Ravens? Right. They have a sweet safety, though. That Kyle Hamilton. Oh, Kyle Hamilton. Whoo. Notre Dame. He is sweet. Man, he reminds me-- like, I missed safeties. Are there any safeties out there? Like, Cam Chancellor? I know that probably brings up bad memories for you. Because on the second play of that Super Bowl, when he absolutely obliterated-- Yeah, kind of. Because I had to marry us. Yeah, I was. Across the middle, and lit him up. Brother. Like, Buddha Baker, to me. He throws his body around like crazy. But he's a smaller guy. He's like, Chancellor was huge. 6-3, 6-4 safety. Yeah. There's not too many of them. I don't think so. The Vikings tried to draft that guy out of Georgia. Lewis seen or seen anybody. He got hurt right away. But man, he looked like-- Because it's almost like a hybrid. Like, it's like a linebacker body that can just fly around the field like a safety. But I haven't seen another one like Cam Chancellor. No. And I feel like he doesn't get enough love, if I'm being honest. Sam Ban-- This isn't our time to give Seattle Seahawks former Legion of Boom guys their love. But you always hear about Sherman. You hear about Bobby Wagner. You hear about the guy on the line. Who's that? Michael Bennett? Michael Bennett, yeah. The senator. Earl Thomas. He's our senator. Earl Thomas. But man, I tell you what, they don't got that ban without Bam Bam Cam. Which brings me to thinking about the Bronco safeties now that they don't have Simmons. What are we looking at there? I mean, what is this? Is it an upgraded champion upgrade, right? It's got to be a downgrade at this point. That's a position on your team that got worse. Yeah. They got one guy from Miami, Jones. He's another Texas guy. Right. So he'll be playing alongside PJ Locke. And Locke. And then you still got Caden Stearns in that safety room. OK. And they're all from Texas. Stearns got a little hurt last year. Yeah, and the year before. And he had a chance to play. Like he would have played if he wasn't hurt, right? Believe so. It would have been him instead of Kareem. Kareem's out of the picture now, Jackson. Yeah. And Locke had a great year last year. What a liability that Kareem Jackson did. Anyone pick him up? I know he was with Houston at the end of the year. Team he started with. Right. See if he's still out there. He's getting old. Yeah, his dick was getting old too. That's the guy like Chancellor who will hit anything that moves. Mess you up. Hit you hard. And like I'm not saying injure you. I'm just saying like free agent. You're coming my way. I'm coming your way. We're fixing to find out. You got a helmet I got pads on. Let's get down. And we got to go to break. I'm having the time of my life. Only got one hour to talk to you guys. 303-831-1340 text line. Hit it up. If you want to call, you can. We're just running out of time. We can always read your text on the air. One of my favorite guys from Nebraska, I forgot to shout out was Dr. Kenny Berson from the Denver Dennis and implant center. Man, Dr. Kenny's over there at 2190 East 17th Avenue right by East High School. That place is classy, man. It's like a boutique. I feel like I could buy like soaps from there and like something like a sash for my wife while I'm getting my dental work done. Go to the website, thedemberdennis.com right there. Yep, you'll see the Mile High magazine right there in that photo. Always accepting new patients. And honestly, they do all the services. You don't got to go anywhere else to do it, including that same day, Sarah Crowns. That's what Dr. Kenny and his team pride themselves on. The Denver Dennis and implant center. Check them out, 303-731-2005. Smile high. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] Man, how do you know I need it this right now? I can read minds. I can confirm Danny Williams is in Florida with JJ. Man, they're mini-golfing. Man, I almost drove in here and punched Danny in the neck when he said that he thinks JJ can beat me at mini-golf. That's them's fighting words. You can make fun of my mother, my wife, my daughter. She can make fun of my mini-golf game, my putt-putt game. It's like a battle royale. We need to set up the match, the vet versus the rook. Man, I'm going to just come on. We played the other day in Silver Bay. Oh, man, I started off hop. I guess what? Couldn't take down. Grammy. Grammy Terry is a beast. That was a tough course. They were putting-- well, not like they moved the holes, but the holes are on like hills. And Grammy Terry on the back, night. Grammy was Zander Shoffley and you were Billy Horshel. Oh, Billy. Oh, Billy. And Shane Lowery. Oh, Billy Baroo. Oh, Billy. Yeah, that was fun to watch this weekend. It's always weird with the time change, but I kind of liked it. Actually, re-watched Zander's last six holes last night. Just wanted to see how it finished. And by then, he already had it. He kind of had it by about 13. Yeah, it birdied 13, and that was all she wrote. Man, I think he hit when I'm like the seventh or eighth hole from the rough, and he punched it up. And I'm like, put it like three feet. I'm like, who is this guy? Link's golf. The other thing that's going on is, well, the WNBA All-Star game sounded like it was pretty sweet. I didn't watch. But the men's basketball, they are not sweet. The US men's basketball team, did they lose to almost lose to South Sudan? They beat him by one. Is that a country? Or is that just like the team, the Southern team from Sudan? It's a country now. Really? Just to just be Sudan. Now there's North and South. Ooh. Oh, they got a couple NBA guys, though. But obviously shouldn't be that close. And then what was-- wasn't there another one? Just journeyed the other day. The Germans are out there. Four-point game last night. 92, 88. LeBron James coming up big in both fourth quarters to propel them. Man. And Bronnie's scoring in double digits now, too. Congrats. So much stuff happened. We couldn't fit it all in one shot, guys. Miami Heat winning summer league. The Miami Heat are back. Did we get Jimmy Butler yet? Did we get Russell Westbrook yet? Yes, yes. He's here. He's here. OK. Got that guy. Got that Colorado fashion. That's Colorado. Yeah, this is SEO. This is California. For Danny Williams, not being here. God, it is nice sometimes. I missed Danny, but it's nice to just freestyle. For the one and only Alex Becker, he runs the show. I run the show. Everything he does. Amazing. This guy touches it. It turns to gold, the King Midas, the producers. I'm Jeff, Chris. Call me Coach G if you want. You can come watch me, coach them kids this weekend in the 303 at the Cowrook and Babe Ruth Regionals. Good night, Sheila. Good night. Thank you, Sheila. Bye, Terry. Bye, Sheila. I'll never forget tonight. Bye, Terry. Fire down on whatever goes on. Bye, Sheila. [INTERPOSING VOICES] Bye, Terry.
