We pray God that you would answer their prayer. Father God, we pray that no matter what obstacle they are facing this morning, that the Holy Ghost would make a way where there seems to be no way, lead them to the truth, lead them to the answer to that prayer. And I bind every devil, every demon, every foul and unclean spirit that comes to resist and fight against the people of God. We rebuke you in the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus Christ is against you. The blood of Jesus Christ is against you. The blood of Jesus is against you, devil. You lost over 2,000 years ago. For this purpose was the son of God made manifest, that he might destroy the works of the devil. You lost, you have been stripped, and we resist you and rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ, the son of the living God. Somebody say, amen. Glory to God on this morning as we continue our series. You are never alone. We are talking about the power of the secret place. I don't know a person who has been saved for more than a day who haven't heard Psalms 91 and didn't fell in love with it. Come on, somebody, the power of the secret place. You are never alone. I know life throws some curveballs at us sometimes. And anytime we get hit off God, something that we didn't expect, for some reason the enemy seems to get that advantage on us. And your mind gets all discombable and distracted and away from the word of God. And once your mind gets away from scripture, the devil's gonna whip you silly, come on. That's why we got a, the Bible says in Isaiah 26.3, God will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is staid on him. You gotta keep your mind on Jesus. Like Peter, the minute Peter took his eyes off Jesus, he started to sink. Thank God he cried for help in Christ, pulled him back out. You got to do everything in your power to keep your focus. That's why the Apostle Paul in Romans 12, he said, be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Your mind have to be renewed. How is our mind renewed passage on? By consistently studying the word of God, meditating on the word of God, listening to other men and women of God, like you are doing right now, listening to this broadcast, the word of God gets into our mind and renews it, brings down strongholds. David said in Psalms 119 verse 130, the entrance of his word gives like, it gives understanding to the simple. Let's go to Psalms 91, the power of the secret place. I don't know about you, but I love the secret place. The secret place is the place of prayer. The secret place is the place where you spend time alone with God. The secret place is the place where you pour your heart out to God. For some of you, it may be your car. It may be a room in your home. It may be some place that you have to drive to. And you pour your heart out to God. There's nothing like the secret place. I heard one of the old scenes from back in the early 1900s, it says, time alone with God is the best thing on this side of heaven, time alone with God. That's what Jesus said about Mary, who sited his feet, and listened to his word. Jesus said, Martha, you are coming about, you're distracted with one's stuff, but Mary have chosen the better part. Sitting at my feet, listening to the word, glory to God. Now let's jump into Psalms 91. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Have you ever parked your car on a nice hard day? Have you ever stood under a tree so you can get in the shade of the tree so it can block you from the heat of the sun? You have to get right up under that tree. Come on, hold on, I'm talking about. Off of some of you, especially here in Texas, where it gets ridiculously hot. Like on a day like this, it's gonna be a little over 100 degrees. I mean, you go out to a place, everyone's, I mean, all the spots where there's a tree and it has a shadow, everyone got those spots taken up. And so to be under the shadow of something means you have to be close to it. Come on, somebody. That's, listen, he is available. He's available to you 24/7. And that's how we stay under his shadow. We spend time alone with God. That's how we stay close in our relationship with him. His shadow represents also his presence, the anointing of the Holy Ghost. Come on, somebody. David said, I will save the Lord. He is my refuge and fortress. A refuge and fortress is a place of protection. That's a place you can run to for help. Come on, somebody. Lord, help us, Jesus. My God and him, will I trust? My God and him, will I trust? You got to trust him when you can't trace him. Like I heard some preachers say. You got to trust him when you can't trace him. Even when you don't feel like it, you got to trust him. He is there, saints. We walk by faith and not by sight. We don't live by our feelings. Amen? 'Cause sometimes you don't feel safe. Thank God, we don't live by our feelings. Second Corinthians 5, 7 says we walk by faith and not by sight. Verse three, David said, "Sholly, without a shout over doubt, "He shall deliver thee, he will deliver you. "He'll pull you out of that mess. "He'll bring you out. "He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowl "and the noise and pestilence. "Oh, Lord of mercy, he shall cover thee "with his feathers and under his wings. "Show thou, trust his truth." That's his word, "His truth shall be thy shield "and buckler like my ice to raise chickens "as a young man." How about 80 of them? And I'm telling you, when Mama would lift up her wings and flutter her wings, all of the little baby chicks would come and pile right up on the mama. She would rest that big, those big heavy wings and feathers and cover those little, we call them baby chickens. We call them biddies. Those baby chicks, I'm telling you, when Mama covered them, they would just be so relaxed. They just knew, I'm all right now, I'm safe. Mama's got me. Well, that's exactly what the Sammer said. God is gonna do, he will cover you with his feathers and under his wings, you shall trust. My God, his truth will be your shield and buckler. Thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day. In other words, the attack can come night or day. It doesn't matter, you ain't gotta be afraid of it because he is there with you, you are never alone, Saints. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness. Nor for the destruction that wastes it at noon day. It doesn't matter when it comes, he's got you covered. A thousand shall fall at thy side and 10,000 at thy right hand, but it shall not come night. The only with thine eyes shall thou be whole and see the reward of the wicked. When God take care of your enemies and bring justice to them, you gonna see it with your own eyes, are you listening to me? Because thou has made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most high thy habitation. There shall no evil, glory be to God. There shall no evil befall thee. Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Why, for he shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee in all that ways. You know the Bible says to angels of God and camp around about those who fear him. You are surrounded by the host of heaven right now. God have his angels, he has commanded his angels. He will give his angels charge over. He gave them a command to watch over you, to protect you, Lord have mercy. Thank you, Jesus. To keep thee in all that ways, they shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dast thou foot against the stone. Thou shall tread upon the lion and Adam. It's 'cause God is with you. That's representative of satanic forces. The young lion and the dragon shall thou trample under feet. Luke 10, 19, Jesus said, behold, I gave you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. And absolutely nothing shall by any means hurt us. Nothing, nothing shall by any means hurt us. Absolutely nothing. Glory to God because he had set his love upon me. Therefore will I deliver him. I will set him on high because he has known my name. You stay close to God, he'll vindicate you. He'll elevate you. It wouldn't be you doing it, it would be God. But you gotta stay close to him, Saints. He that dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Verse 15, God said, he shall call upon me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and on him. God is telling you you're gonna face trouble. I don't care how much faith you have, you gonna run into trouble. In fact, the more faith you have, it just seems like the more trouble you run into. But God says, I will deliver him. My God, God says, I'm gonna be with you in trouble. I will deliver you and I'm gonna honor you. And I love verse 16. With long life, God says I'm gonna satisfy him and show him my salvation. I'm gonna make sure he'll live a long time. You shall live and not die to declare the works of God. I dare somebody to open your mouth and say I shall live. ♪ Have your way ♪ ♪ Have your way ♪ Come on. ♪ Have your way ♪ ♪ Tell them to have your way ♪ ♪ Have your way ♪ ♪ Have your way ♪ ♪ Have your way ♪ ♪ Have your way ♪ ♪ Tell them to have your way ♪ ♪ Have your way ♪ Thank you, Lord Jesus. We cover your people this morning. We cover them in the blood of the Lord Jesus. We thank you for your promise this morning. We thank you for your promise that brings comfort, that have brought strength to the weak and to the weary, to the hopeless. Your word brings faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. Thank you for touching your people on this morning. Thank you for strengthening them. Thank you for encouraging them, Lord. In the name of Jesus. I want to give someone a chance to get saved. I want to give you an opportunity to come to Jesus. He loves you. The Bible says, "For God so loved the world." That he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He loves you with an everlasting love, and he wants to forgive you of your sins and bring you into a right relationship with God. Without any further hesitation, I want you to say this prayer with me. Say, "Lord Jesus, I believe you are the son of God. I believe they crucified you on a cross. Murdered you in cold blood, buried you in a borrowed tomb. But on the third day, God raised you from the dead. You are now seated at God's right hand, and soon and very soon you are coming again. From this day, I turned my back on the world, the flesh and the devil, to serve the true and living God and his son, Jesus Christ, amen.
