This is Turley Talks. Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, coming to you from beautiful but quite rainy Maine. It's a question that more and more people are seriously asking. Was the assassination attempt an inside job? Now, I'm sure many of you saw at least clips from the Secret Service, Director Kim Cheetles, testimony on Capitol Hill yesterday, that debacle? I mean, we're absolutely mortified by how secretive and frankly inept her non-anxious were throughout the entire proceedings, and that debacle is bringing to the fore the dilemma that CIA analyst Larry Johnson originally proposed based on all of the evidence the Secret Service were either apocalyptically incompetent or they were complicit. Now, it's being reported that we actually may have something akin to a smoking gun and obviously apt metaphor for the latter option here, that the Secret Service was at least in part complicit. An organization known as the Oversight Project, they're a watchdog group with the Heritage Foundation, they just released a report that could potentially link the shooter, Thomas Crooks, to key locations inside the Washington, D.C. area. Now, this is astonishing. I don't know how many of you have caught up with this yet. According to the Oversight Project's report, geo-trafficking data shows that a phone associated with Thomas Crooks did indeed visit Butler, Pennsylvania twice in the days just before the shooting, but what's even more interesting and frankly radically suspicious is that that same cell phone last year visited the gallery place building in Washington, D.C., which houses a mall and offices of the FBI. Again, this according to the report released by the Heritage Oversight Project. So what they found is that a mobile phone associated with Thomas Crooks was indeed in the vicinity of an FBI field office in D.C. over the last year. Now, again, that's all we know. But the Oversight Project leaders are calling on other experts in the field to geolocation searches and criminal investigations to step forward to assist with their probe, which they began because of obvious concerns over the lack of transparency among intel agencies in D.C., which, of course, were fully on display in spades yesterday with the Cheetos Ridiculous testimony. Now, in addition to this bombshell revelation, we're seeing more and more reports of a second shooter, more accurately put a third shooter. So we obviously know that Crooks was involved in the shooting. We know the counter sniper on the roof parallel to Trump took a shot that took out Crooks, but there does appear to be evidence of a third shooter in that mix, or a second shooter in addition to Crooks involved in trying to take out President Trump. And we're going to see the latest data on that. Okay, how many were there? I would refer to the FBI for as many were there. And their information that they need to share in their investigation. So they've shared the information with you. You just don't want to share the information with us. Correct? We have concurrent investigations that are going on. So they have shared this information with you. You know the answer to the question. You just refer, refuse to answer the question from the member of Congress. Who has subpoenaed you to be here? Is there a different answer to that question? I was always willing to come here and testify before this oversight hearing. Beautiful. Then let's do that. Let's, let's more once have your actions match your words. So you've been in the, in, in communication with the FBI. You know the answers and you refuse to tell us the answers. So I will ask you again, you know how many shell casings were on that roof. What is the answer to that question? I think it's pertinent. What is the answer to that question? I think it's pertinent to talk to you about the information that the Secret Service has and that the Secret Service knows really. I'm asking you an answer to the question. If you're supposed to be in charge, if the buck stops with you, how come you can't share the answers? What are you covering up? And what are you hiding my friend? I'm not covering anything. Then why can't you answer a simple question? I would leave it to the criminal investigation to answer questions related to that. So that's just a sample of the stone walling and cover up that we were privy to in that ridiculous hearing yesterday. The big question that more and more people were asking is bottom line. How many shooters were there? Was Crooks the only one or was there a second shooter? And of course, the grilling you heard there involved matching the bullet casings on the roof with the number of shots that can be heard on video. And the Secret Service Director Cheetol was obviously stone walling invasive on that issue. Now, Dan Bongino is a former Secret Service agent. He's coming out and saying that his sources are telling him that there was indeed a third shooter in addition to Crooks and the counter sniper shooter on the roof, but that it was from another counter sniper who actually missed. So the third shot was from a local counter sniper team, a non-secret service counter sniper team from the local police and that shooter missed. That was the third shot according to Dan Bongino. Again, we're going to have to see what more and more data and information comes in to confirm that one way or the other. The Secret Service Director certainly did not help matters with their obvious and pathetic evasion to the direct line of questioning that you just heard. But again, when all is said and done, we are left with only two options. Secret Service and law enforcement were either glossally incompetent or they were complicit. There's just simply no other alternative. And given what we've seen since the failed assassination attempt with the Democrats launching a successful coup to remove their candidate for the presidency, the very candidate that 15 million Democrats voted for. There does seem to be some palpable panic among permanent Washington over what happened or by God's grace, what failed to happen on J13. All of this is to say that all the stone walling and suspicious activity that's ensued ever since that failed assassination attempt does at least invite the perception that something quite nefarious was and continues to be underfoot. And the onus is now firmly on the side of Washington bureaucrats to assuage those suspicions. Thanks so much for listening to this episode of the Turley Talks Podcast.
