You're mooring ray of sunshine back on and safe command, falling and rising. A friend asked me, "Why do we fall in love again when we still have our wounds from the last time?" When we know this relationship can also fail. She wondered if it was because humans cannot be alone. That's not the truth. The very nature of life is to fail and rise again, to keep striving. That is the human condition. Be it a relationship, or an enterprise, or trying to learn how to ride a cycle, the only way is to keep in devil. Our other misconception is that it is all about the destination, about reaching someone, hitting that 25 year anniversary, selling a million copies of the book, having a billion dollar turnover. Those may happen or not, but even when they do, the joy is effing on them. The real happiness, the actual time we feel exhilaration and excitement, is while we are doing, striving towards that goal. The journey is everything. So it doesn't matter if the movie never got made, or the business shut down. What matters is that we give it our best and that we will again. Sunshine in your day.
