This is your 24/7 news update. The latest views this hour in just four minutes. A federal judge is pausing President Trump's plan to freeze federal aid. New York Senator and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had been highly critical of the freeze announced Tuesday morning. This is cruelty. This is lawlessness. This is a heist done on a national scale. It was set to take effect at 5 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday until a federal judge granted an 11th hour administrative stay, putting Trump's executive order on hold at least through next Monday. The death toll from the devastating wildfires around Los Angeles is now at 29. Another death was reported by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office Monday, the result of the palisades fire. That fire erupted January 7 and destroyed more than 23,000 acres and thousands of structures. Lakers legend Magic Johnson and the Dodgers are spearheading the money-raising effort for wildfire recovery. The White House says those mysterious drones spotted in the night sky by many folks throughout the Northeast were authorized by the FAA. Sarah Lee Kessler reports. This was not the enemy. That's what White House press secretary Caroline Levitt told news reporters at her first news conference on Tuesday. The drones that were flying over New Jersey in large numbers were authorized to be flown by the FAA for research and various other reasons. They caused a lot of anxiety, especially when seen flying last month over military installations, reservoirs, and even President Trump's golf club in Bedminster. Many of these drones were also hobbyists. Levitt saying there's no cause for alarm. I'm Sarah Lee Kessler. Employees at a Whole Foods in Philadelphia are making history as the first Amazon owned grocery chain to unionize. The president of the union said in a statement Whole Foods and its parent company Amazon have long resisted unionization efforts. I'm Brian Schucht. A tuberculosis outbreak in the Kansas City area is now the largest documented outbreak in U.S. history according to state officials. There are currently nearly 70 people being treated for TB on the Kansas side of Kansas City. A group of Louisiana lawmakers are asking the NFL to make sure the Super Bowl halftime show is family friendly. Michael Kastner reports. Republican State Senator Valerie Hodges, 16 other state legislators, and 15 organizations sent a letter to the chairs of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and the Louisiana Stadium Expo District. The letter expressed concern about past halftime shows that Hodges says had lewd lyrics, suggestive dances, and wardrobe failures. Grammy award winner Kendrick Lamar is set to headline the halftime show at the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9th as the Chiefs take on the Eagles. I'm Michael Kastner. Today we celebrate what's considered by some to be one of the most annoying musical instruments ever made. Bre tennis with more on National Kazoo Day. The Kazoo is considered a musical instrument, although you really don't need any training to play one. Often referred to as a joke, but many famous musicians have featured the Kazoo on songs. The Ringo Star, the Stones, Clapton, even Pink Floyd. So it can't be all that bad. They all come from one place called the Kazoo Factory in South Carolina. They say they sell 5,000 every day. So there's still a chance you could be a rock star. An Ocean County, New Jersey restaurant has decided to remove a controversial burger from its menu after it drew online criticism. The restaurant Aqua Blue Kitchen and Cocktails apologized for adding the Proud Boy burger to its menu. As described on the menu, the Proud Boy burger, a reference to the far right group consisted of white American cheese, resilience pickles, and cancel culture coleslaw. I'm Brian Schook.
