On Tuesday, a federal judge granted an administrative stay-pause Trump's plans at least through Monday. The freeze was set to take effect Tuesday at 5 p.m. Eastern. California Governor Gavin Newsom says he's cutting red tape when it comes to wildfire recovery efforts. Tammy Trujillo reports, "Under a new executive order, Governor Newsom aims to speed up rebuilding efforts along the coast and provide more support for survivors of the recent fires. On X, he says he wants to make it clear that red tape will not delay rebuilding efforts. Under the executive order, do some reiterates of permitting requirements under the California Coastal Act remain suspended. The order also allows people who have been affected by the fires to stay longer in hotels and short-term rentals. I'm Tammy Trujillo. Genentech is showing positive results with an experimental breast cancer treatment. A Phase 3 study of Itovib T.M. in combination with a regimen of supportive drugs showed promising results for survivability. The pharmaceutical company says the study shows a statistically significant and clinically meaningful benefit. O.J. Simpson's youngest son is accused of improperly claiming ownership of his late father's home. Michael Kastner reports. That's according to a lawsuit filed by the special administrator of Simpson's estate. The home was bought by an LLC in August of 2022. The LLC is owned and managed by Justin Simpson, who is a real estate agent. The lawsuit claims the LLC was actually the owner and name only. O.J. The film directed by Mel Gibson and starring Mark Wahlberg made $12 million in its debut weekend. Mufasa the Lion King took second with over $8 million and pushed its total haul to over $626 million globally.
