That's according to multiple reports. One of the orders will reportedly include reinstating service members with back pay for those who were discharged for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine. Another will ban transgender service members from serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, while the third will ban any diversity-related programs in the military. Immigration raids are taking place around the country. The Trump administration has launched a social media thread showcasing what it calls the worst criminals arrested by immigration and customs enforcement since the president's inauguration. The White House's ex-thread reads that under President Trump's leadership, ICE agents are working tirelessly to protect our communities. The White House says the Colombian government has changed course and will now accept U.S. flights carrying deported migrants. Gabe Gutierrez reports Colombia had turned away two U.S. military planes filled with deportees, causing President Trump to threaten a 25 percent tariff on Colombian goods. Colombia's leader then attacking Trump online saying you will never dominate us. But later the country reversing course, according to the White House, agreeing to all of President Trump's terms, including the unrestricted acceptance of migrants. Stocks are tanking on Wall Street. It comes as shares of NVIDIA, Microsoft and other AI link companies are falling on concerns over the Chinese startup DeepSeek. The Nasdaq has been down over 600 points at times today, while the Dow and the S&P have also been lower. Palestinians are heading back to the Northern Gaza Strip Monday after Israel lifted its closure as part of the ceasefire deal with Hamas. Israel opened military checkpoints that divided the strip for over a year. The new move ends a displacement that many in the area worried would become permanent. A security official said more than 200,000 people crossed to the north in the morning. The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs are getting ready to face off in Super Bowl 59. The Chiefs are vying for a third consecutive Super Bowl ring when they meet the Eagles in New Orleans on February 9th. If I had to pick one, I wanted to go to Kansas City. The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority announced that the moment in time count will instead be held for three days beginning February 18th. City officials explained that the aftermath of the wildfire disaster would likely skew a January count in unpredictable ways. The Supreme Court will not look into a Mississippi law that bans convicts of certain felonies from voting. The Jim Crow era law is broad enough to apply to those convicted of nonviolent crimes, including forgery and perjury. A group of Mississippians asked the High Court to decide whether that amounts to cruel and unusual punishment. Attorneys have called it a harsh and unforgiving practice that is a national outlier. But this is the second time the justices have declined to weigh in. Former New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez is being sentenced this week. Last week, a federal judge rejected Menendez's latest bid for a retrial. Menendez was found guilty last summer of accepting cash in gold bars and acting as a foreign agent for Egypt. Two businessmen were also convicted, and Menendez's wife is awaiting trial on similar charges. The 71-year-old who spent more than 18 years in the U.S. Senate is set to be sentenced on Wednesday with prosecutors calling for a 15-year prison sentence. Florida students and educators are speaking out against the law barring colleges and universities from using government funds to support diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. Leah Ciceta says this is a struggle against censorship and for academic freedom. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says DEI should stand for discrimination, exclusion, and indoctrination. Country music star Tim McGraw is reportedly facing some health issues. Deadline reports McGraw is dropping out of an acting role due to needing to undergo back surgery. He was set to star in an untitled rodeo series for Netflix.
