President Trump is defending the late night controversial purge of 18 inspectors general, the federal inspectors general, our independent government officials who look for fraud, waste, and violations in their agencies. Yesterday, a senior White House official confirmed the firings saying that the officials were let go because they don't align with the new Trump administration. And that administration has now launched a social media thread showcasing the worst criminals arrested by immigration and customs enforcement since the swearing-in of President Trump. The White House ex-thread reads that under President Trump's leadership ICE agents are working tirelessly to protect our communities. The thread shows nine illegal immigrants who have been convicted of various crimes or have a legitimized gangs and terrorist organizations. Vice President J.D. Vance's lower prices are coming, but Americans may have to wait a bit. He told CBS's Face The Nation that the Trump administration has already implemented measures aimed at reversing inflation. "Prices are going to come down, but it's going to take a little bit of time, right? The president has been president for all of five days." Vance insists the administration is working to increase the number of American jobs and improve domestic energy production, both of which he says will eventually cause the cost of living to decrease. Federal health officials are urging pet food companies to increase safeguards due to the rise in cat illnesses and deaths from bird flu contaminated raw pet food and raw milk. The Food and Drug Administration recently advised pet food manufacturers to source ingredients from flocks or herds that are healthy and begin using heat treatment to inactivate harmful viruses. The bird flu outbreak began a couple of years ago and is spread among both domestic and feral cats. The Philadelphia Eagles will play in Super Bowl 59. They blasted the Washington commanders. Today at home, 55-23 was the final to win the NFC Championship. Siquan Barkley and Jalen Hertz each rushed for three touchdowns with the Philly defense forcing three fumbles and an interception. The Eagles will now await the winner of the Bill's Chiefs' AFC Championship game. Super Bowl 59 will be played in New Orleans two weeks from today. I'm Chris Grazio. A rare copy of the Declaration of Independence is expected to fetch as much as $4 million at auction. The copy from July 1776 was printed to help spread the document to the public. Since one of only 10 known to be in existence, most of which are in collections. This particular copy was made in New Hampshire. Police are investigating after an ancient statue was found in a trash bag near Garbage Canson, Greece. A local man found the statue, which is thought to be some 2,000 years old. The statue is 32 inches tall and depicts somebody wearing a flowing garments. It's missing a head and arms. The man took the statue to authorities. iPhones with TikTok installed are listed for thousands on eBay after a brief ban in the US. Those who deleted or never downloaded TikTok have been left in the dark since it's not available on Apple and Google App Stores in the US. Some iPhone owners who have kept TikTok downloaded are now selling their used or brand new phones. One eBay user in Florida listed an iPhone 15 Pro Max with TikTok for $10,000 or Best Offer. Other phones with TikTok installed are listed between $500 and $25,000. Two giant pandas are making their American debut. Michael Kastner reports. Giant pandas, Bao Li and Qing Bao can now be seen at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. The zoo is celebrating the pandas with a series of special events and programs through February 9, including a Lunar New Year event. The zoo is also relaunching its giant panda cam, which includes 40 cameras in the panda habitat, recording live from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Summer sentiment is falling on inflation worries. The University of Michigan's final reading for January fell 4% from December. Inflation expectations for the year ahead soared to 3.3% reaching their highest level since last May.
