President Trump is ordering immediate tariffs and travel ban on Colombia after a denied entry to a pair of U.S. military deportation flights. The flights involved two C-17 aircraft, which were each carrying about 80 Colombian migrants from California in response Trump announced on Truth Social that he ordered decisive retaliatory measures, including a 25% tariff on all Colombian imports. He added these measures are just the beginning, Trump said Colombia's action violated its legal obligation to accept the return of criminals they forced into the United States. Senator Lindsey Graham says he believes it was a mistake for President Trump to pardon anybody convicted of violent crimes during the January 6th ride at the Capitol. The South Carolina Republican told CNN State of the Union that he's a firm backer of the president, but he doesn't think it's acceptable to pardon criminals who assaulted police officers. Graham insisted that doing so sets a bad precedent. Graham also criticized former President Biden's decision to pardon several family members just before leaving office. President Trump is defending the late night purge of 17 inspectors general Scott Carr has more now from Washington. The federal inspectors general are independent government figures charged with rooting out fraud, waste and violations within their own agencies. White House officials confirm over a dozen of them were fired Friday night because they don't align with the new Trump administration calling the move a very common thing to do. Trump defended their removal while speaking with reporters Saturday. Some officials claim the firings violate federal law, which requires the president to give both houses of Congress cause for dismissal and 30 days advance notice. Spirit Airlines is implementing rules for passengers regarding offensive tattoos or sheer clothing. Spirit updated its contract of carriage saying passengers will not be allowed to board or ask to leave if they have body art that's lewd, obscene or offensive in nature. That also applies to passengers who are inadequately clothed, which is defined as see through clothing, not adequately covered, exposed breasts, buttocks and other private parts. Playboy magazine is bringing back its print issues after stopping during the pandemic and its first cover model has been announced in a collaborative post on Instagram.
