The flights involved two C-17 aircraft, which were carrying about 80 Colombian migrants each from California. In response, Trump announced on Truth Social that he ordered decisive retaliatory measures including an immediate 25 percent tariff on all Colombian imports. He added these measures are just the beginning. Trump said Colombia's action violated its legal obligation to accept the return of criminals they forced into the United States. Senator Lindsey Graham says he believes it was a mistake for President Trump to pardon anyone convicted of violent crimes during the January 6 riot at the Capitol. I think when you pardon people who attack police officers, you're sending the wrong signal to the public at large. It may be an effort to rein in the pardon power of the president as an institution. The South Carolina Republican told CNN State of the Union he's a firm backer of the president, but he does not think it's acceptable to pardon criminals who assaulted police officers. Monday marks 80 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in Poland. Survivor Michael Bornstein, who is returning to Auschwitz for the anniversary, was just four years old when he was held there. I seem to remember the smell, the foul, disgusting smell that I found out later is the smell of burning bodies. Bornstein says he had no desire to return but came back anyway for one simple reason. To say the Kateshi prayer for all the dead people and especially my father and my brother. More than a million people including Bornstein's father and brother lost their lives at Auschwitz, about 50 survivors along with delegations from dozens of countries are expected to attend the commemoration ceremony tomorrow. Auschwitz was liberated 80 years ago. Today the site is a museum and memorial. I'm Lisa Kardon.
