For Israeli soldiers released from captivity today receiving medical evaluations after being reunited with their parents, the Israeli military says the four women were flown by helicopter to a hospital in southern Israel. Doctors say the four appear to be relatively healthy despite their 15 month ordeal. Israel released 200 Palestinian prisoners as part of its ceasefire that went into effect last weekend. President Trump is promising federal help for Los Angeles County following the palisades and eaten wildfires. He made the pledge yesterday after meeting with first responders and wildfire survivors in Pacific Palisades, the site of the most expensive natural disaster in LA history. He also toured the disaster area in the air and on the ground. And President Trump spoke to his supporters today in Las Vegas and promised to end taxes on tips throughout the state. Following the Senate's vote to confirm a former South Dakota Governor Christie Noem as Homeland Security Secretary, she resigned her former post. Lieutenant Governor Larry Rodin now becomes governor in a resignation letter Noem called their privilege to serve the people of South Dakota. And earlier today, Pete Higgseth was sworn in as Defense Secretary after he was confirmed by the Senate late last night. Kia is recalling over 80,000 of its narrow vehicles for issues with its seat belts and airbags. Federal safety regulators say adjusting the front passenger seat could cause serious safety risks by damaging the wiring, which controls critical features, including the airbag and seat belts. The recall includes Nero, Nero EV, a Nero plug-in hybrid vehicles made between August 10, 2022 and December 13, 2024, with a manual front passenger seat. I'm Chris Caragio. First Aid Beauty is recalling more than 2,700 jars of its ultra repair cream. The beauty brand says 14-ounce jars of ultra repair cream, coconut vanilla, meant for quarantine where mistakenly sold on the company's direct-to-consumer website, firstaidbeauty.com. The voluntary December 23 recall was recently classified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a class 2 risk. That means user exposure to the product could cause temporary negative health effects. The beauty brand says the recalled products were sold only on their website and includes jars with lot numbers 24-D44 and 24-D45 with expiration dates of April 10th and April 11th, 2026. Target is the latest big company to end its diversity, equity and inclusion programs. Here's Lisa Carton. The Minneapolis-based retailer announced the decision in a memo to employees on Friday. According to CNBC, the memo cited the importance of staying in step with the evolving landscape to help drive growth and serve its millions of customers, with the move target joins companies like Walmart, Meta and McDonald's in dropping DEA-related pledges and goals.
