The Israeli military says the four women were reunited with their families after being flown by a helicopter to a hospital in southern Israel. Rob Sanchez is there. We do not yet know whether they were held in apartments, whether they were held underground in tunnels. Israel released 200 Palestinian prisoners as its part of the agreement. In all, seven hostages have been set free since the start of the ceasefire that went into effect last weekend. President Trump is expected to deliver remarks in Las Vegas this afternoon on his campaign promise to eliminate taxes on tips. Trump arrived in Nevada after visiting Los Angeles and surveying the devastating wildfire damage in Southern California. Near Friday, Trump traveled to Asheville, North Carolina, to check on recovery efforts and meet with residents still impacted by Hurricane Helene. Some much needed rain is in the forecast for Southern California, but forecasters are warning it could cause problems, especially in areas impacted by wildfires. The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the burn areas as possible mudslides could occur. Winter weather advisories are also in effect with winter storm warnings above 4,500 feet before the mountain areas. Kristi Gnome has resigned as governor of South Dakota after being confirmed by the Senate today as new Homeland Security Secretary. The final vote was 59 to 34. In her resignation letter, Gnome called it a privilege to serve the people of South Dakota. Earlier today, Pete Hexeth was sworn in as defense secretary after he was confirmed by the Senate late last night. On this vote, the yays are 50 and the nays are 50. The Senate being equally divided, the vice president votes, and the affirmative, and the nomination is confirmed. Three Republican senators voted against Pete Hexeth, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, and Mitch McConnell. I'm Lisa Carton. Target is the latest big company to end its diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. The Minneapolis-based retailer announced the decision in a memo to employees on Friday. According to CNBC, the memo cited the importance of staying in step with the evolving landscape to help drive growth and serve its millions of customers, with the move target joins companies like Walmart, Meta, and McDonald's in dropping DEI-related pledges and goals. There has been an arrest in the killing of a U.S. Border Patrol agent near the Canadian border. Officials announced 21-year-old Theresa Youngblood of Washington State was arrested in connection to Monday's fatal shooting. It happened during a traffic stop in Vermont near the border with Canada. Another suspect was also killed in the incident. Youngblood and the other suspect had been on the FBI's radar prior to Monday's shooting. In New York, a disturbing end to an argument in the Bronx Friday over a barking dog, Andrew Whitman reports. A man was walking his dog near the Bodega at the corner of Southern Boulevard in East 178th Street in the West Farm section of the Bronx around noon Friday. His dog began barking at another man who police say didn't like it. He got so angry they say the man pulled out a machete and tried to attack the dog. The dog's owner stepped in front as the man swung the machete, slicing four fingers off the dog owner. Machete man ran no arrests. Witnesses say they think three of the four fingers were located. The country star Morgan Wallen will hit the road this summer for a stadium tour. The I'm the problem tour will kick off June 20 in Houston. Wallen will visit 10 cities and play two night stands at most stops, including Phoenix, Seattle and Cleveland. He'll be joined by other country stars, including Miranda Lambert, Brooks and Dunn, and Thomas Rhett on select dates. I'm Lisa Cartons.
